as a kind of arty kid, there’s actually some decent stuff here (excluding the Japanese people phase, that was... strange haha), the Eiffel Tower idea thing you did actually looks awesome :) it’s great you’re sharing this even if it isn’t like the regular “here is my A******** art book” vids, nice to see someone just relaxed about and happy with their work even if it doesn’t follow the marking criteria perfectly

It’s honestly really chill, you’d be surprised. It’s spilt into 2 days. But in my exam it was nice and peaceful and so easy to concentrate

i did mine a month ago and honestly it turned out pretty great. if you have an idea of what you’re doing you’ll be okay :) in 30 minutes you start to get into the groove and without knowing you just did 10 hours of art
I had to do that and it goes really quickly since you get in the zone. It’s much better than the average 1h45m exams for like English and maths. I have to do a 15 hour one for a levels but it goes really quickly so don’t worry!

I got a U in art and I only picked it because I didn’t want to do drama. I hated it but I put loads of effort into it for me to then get a U but didn’t really bother me as I’m not going to do art ever again 😂
I lost it when she saw her first drawing and was like “What. What is that. That is so bad. No wonder I failed art. I feel so bad for Japanese.”

I'm surprised I ever managed to pass my GCSES. I struggled a lot in school with bullying and my learning disabilities, but I did - I got a C in Art and I have now achieved 3 diplomas in Fine Art from my College.

Omgggg I’m in yr9 now n just started doing a bit of work to prepare us for gcse art, we literally just started. I’m gonna have to choose art because I need to fill my extra options but I don’t mind it. I mean you never know how them lot grade you, like each examiner could take your work from different perspectives. Ughhhh I hope I do okkk and you are peng afffffff like no joke xx

Lol I’m doing GCSE art and I love it. I think our course is a lot more structured though. Our writing gets heavily checked and we have to type everything. Taking it to A level this year and I’m hella exited.

I'm currently in Year 9and doing Art GCSE. It's kinda different now... We have a theme that we stick too for a set time and all your art has to be similiar to that theme. Currently doing pop art and I'm so happy we can do anime characters soo 😂 We also have to research certain artists and do responses to that. We even have to do a certain amount of pages for every deadline in the themed course. Jeez it's changed 😂

For me personally I prefer to use smaller sketchbooks, the larger ones are so hard to fill in and show so the smaller the better so you can pay attention to detail

I just went into Year 10 in September and I am so glad that I didn't choose GCSE Art! My art teacher (last year or the year before) told me that the exam was about 10 hours long for your final piece but it is stretched over 5 days (so you have 2 hours a day) and I was like "bish nah, I'm lazy af byeeeee" n yeah
