Girl my sister had to break this down to me. Pretty much, your body know when you’re feelin insecure. It knows when you’re frustrated and it knows when you’re stressed AF! To see the change in your body that you want, your body has to see that change IN YOU FIRST! Once I got my mind right, continued my routine, I saw a major difference!!! I forsure understood what you said when you wear your long hair when your feeling insecure about your body. Your hair takes attention off of your body. Maybe something that can help is every negative thought you have about your body write down a postive one? I enjoy giving myself hugs, a kiss and tell myself I love me and talking to myself when i have negative thoughts which can be about anything. Which may sound odd i like to hear to read things i write down in my Journal it helps me back up sometimes when I fall a little. You mention in the video you thought about what you want out of the gym and i think your going to achieve exactly what you want! Sometimes being kind to ourselfs in so hard which is okay but remember who you were are and will become✨
On my bad body confidence days, to help myself feel better, I don’t weigh myself, I don’t look at myself in the mirror, I don’t wear tight clothes, I wear anything baggy. and anytime I have a negative thought, I just distract myself. I hope this helps someone else out there too.
Courtney I completely understand what your talking about around 7:20 and after. BUT cellulite is normal, rolls are normal (especially when sitting down lol), and big thighs are normal. I have always struggle with my thighs, even when I work out a lot and they become toned, I still feel like they look like blobs haha. However, a big part of that has to do with genetics. Anyways, what I’m trying to say it no one sees what you think are your flaws when they look at u! You’re beautiful just the way you are & personally I think you look great and rlly toned. Remember: You’re fearfully and wonderfully made 😁
Literally, what you said is exactly what I’m going through in terms of insecurities. What I’ve done to help this is, unfollowing any influencer who discusses fat loss without a personal purpose (for example, pro bodybuilders). But also, just remembering that aesthetics does not equate your time dedication and hard work. Literally, going in there and giving it your all is what we (your followers) and others care the most about. Body size does not indicate value, effort/hard work/ just being YOU is worth the celebration. I’ve had to learn to separate my identity from the gym and let me say that shit is hard. I can only imagine it’s harder for you. But YOU are enough. That’s basically how I’ve overcome the whole body image thing/ if I don’t look muscular aesthetically than I’m not an athlete
your personality is so cute, I cant help but smile whenever I watch you :p I definitely feel how you feel about being strong but not looking *aesthetic* enough for yourself. But you look amazing! When I feel like that, I try to look at the more positive things on my body, instead of focusing on the negative & things I cant change. youre not alone!

I use the Notability app then I paid for the access to other templates and in that was the calandra I use!! I’ll show it in my next video too I’m obsessed lol
