I used to do CrossFit, did it for about 3 years and it was such a fun time! Just be mindful, and I know you know your body lol, but the volume and speed of heavy weight moved can be really taxing on the body. I end up developing patellar tendinitis, so just listen to your body as you advance and go at your own pace :) And I can’t wait to see you try some of the Olympic movies like muscle ups!!
Quick question since you talked about starting cross fit. I want to go the gym for the first time in my entire life but am just full of so much anxiety cause I know if I start I would be nothing but confused. how do I gain confidence to go to the gym with absolutely zero idea how to use any machines? And then if I go what do I do?😂
Just go tbh, if you get a bad vibe don’t give up you just went to a bad gym some take things more seriously then others so try another one. If you find a good gym they’ll have an into period where they run you through everything as these movements are technical and require practice but CrossFit can be scaled for all fitness levels and sizes. You’re going to suck at first period actually you might suck for a while but if you keep going and actually try you’ll get better.
