I was unable to make the UCLA squad, but regularly played with several WNBA players in pick-up games in college. It was like playing with 6th grade boy players, I could literally take the ball from them or score on them whenever I wanted. They were an absolute non-factor, I was 10x+ stronger, faster, quicker, more athletic and skilled - basically, better in every single way than them. I am confident I was better than every single WNBA player as a 17 yr. old HS player and I couldn't even make a top tier NCAA D1 men's bench. The WNBA is horrible to watch, the product sucks, and the arrogant, entitled, man-hating lesbians are insufferable with their demands that they be treated equally while not having any semblance of responsibility or accountability that comes along with that. Best idea I've heard is that the rim should go to 8 feet and at 1/2 time 2 random players from the stands get to join the girl teams. I got free tickets to a WNBA game in Las Vegas a few years ago and there was nothing else going on that night, so I went. Bill Laimbeer was coaching, so it was cool to see him but I'm pretty sure he was drunk because every time he got up, the assistant coach was holding his balance and then he'd stumble back to his chair. Nobody really showed up until the 4th quarter. And that was only because Kid Cudi was performing after the game. But then he ended up canceling the show for some reason. So instead they put the Thursday Night Football game on the video screen and about 3000 people sat in a giant fully lit arena and watched football. That was my WNBA experience.

@@JT-km6th NBA has moved the 3 point line around a bit and all it's really done is have people say "MJ could only shoot threes because the line was shorter". A shorter rim would realistically just take effect for one season and then everyone would be used to it, rookies might also struggle, but, again, shouldn't take too long to adapt. Worst case scenario, a few bad years of WNBA shooting, because we've never seen that before

If the NBA pulled it's funding, the league would fold. It's been suggested that the teams move to smaller cities, where there is no men's professional game to compete against, and build a fan base among people who would like to see a professional team, but don't get the opportunity. A shorter rim would realistically just take effect for one season and then everyone would be used to it, rookies might also struggle, but, again, shouldn't take too long to adapt. Worst case scenario, a few bad years of WNBA shooting, because we've never seen that before

What's worse is that they try to shut people down by saying they are arguing for an equal % of revenue not equal salaries, but what they are asking for is a % of revenue- all the money generated, not for profits, which is of course money left over after operating costs are covered.
