Right side pillar with the hand has two bolts, one on each end of the handle then comes right off. The left side pillar has a screw under a plastic cap and I believe one clip. Driver air bag?
Really not bad. I have a ton of prior knowledge and good assortment of tools so that helps. I will say if you have any problem solving abilities and a little knowledge of cars you're set.

Yes you can and it will fit. But the ac ducts and some of the wiring must be modified to make it longer

It'll end up cracking again just as factory one did. But I don't know if I'll have the truck another 15 years lol so far it's holding up great

I paid around 600 for the dash from the dealer. You can always call to see the availability.

Directly from gm. List price of 6 and some change. But you can't get a friend at a dealer to get it for little over 400

I'm at the dealership now. They want $2,900.00 to replace the dash. That's parts and labor. They say it's a 4 hour job and they charge $300 an hour.
