This month: Roy Lichtenstein !! You have been a lot to ask for it!
Hope you have as much fun as I had figuring this one out!
See you on September 1st for Musueum Mysteries and next month for another style in 7 steps!

Thank you for highlighting my painting! I am working on my Lichtenstein painting now! I am hoping hardwire fencing with work to create the bandaid dots!

Can’t wait to see it! The main idea is to have a guide to place your dots in a regular manner, so I guess it should work?! Let me know !

Yay! I’ve always been a Lichtenstein fan, and then I just came across your video - I like it! Those Ben-Day dots look very tricky to get right, mind you

Thanks a lot for watching! Yeah, the Ben-day dots are a bit complicated. I was looking for a stencil (the dots might have been more similar to each other) but I couldn’t find one… but the effect with the mesh is interesting! 😋

Wow that looked like a labour intense one. Did you think about using a paint roller over a dotted Matt?

Hey Jake! Yes, I though about it… but first it is difficult to find a dotted stencil ( could have made one but I would have been equally labor intensive to get all the dots aligned), second you wouldn’t see the sketch lines behind and it would be difficult to stay in your Color zone… so I decided for this solution. As I mentioned it is not ideal, but …
