I love it! I'm in the same situation, planing to upgrade the drivetrain and the brakes. Frame and fork already have disc brake mounts, but i didn't know how to rout the brake hose. Drilling the cable holder is fantastic idea! Do you think default length of 1700mm back and 1000mm front needs to be shortened? And how would you route the front hose? I have suntour fork with IS mounts but no routing clips...
Thank you for the feedback. You don't have to drill the frame, you can find commercially available mounts that are glued to the frame. Put the brakes on the bike and it will become clear whether you need to shorten them, as all frames are different, for different heights and different wheel diameters. There are no problems with attaching to the fork, and the adapter for IS mounts is not expensive. I wish you success!

Do all bikes have that dock for the disc hidden like that ? I bought a disc brake and I gave up because I didn't have the center lock for it.
There are more simple mounts for 6 bolts, the centre of the lock, as you find less often
