    To be fair I changed it to "lower" carb. I also posted the nutrition info. It is 6 grams net carbs per slice. Traditional homemade banana bread is 49 per slice. This may not be appropriate for the induction phase of the Atkins program but one slice shouldn't knock you out of ketosis.

      If we were to reduce the banana to just one, do you think we'd need to add anything else to make up for that "bulk"? Also, do you think that 1 T of banana extract would make up for the loss in flavor?

    This was amazing! I used 1/2 cup of monk fruit sweetener instead of stevia.

    I loved it! No sweetener so baby can have it too. Added 1 extra banana instead. Also added a pinch of cinnamon and of nutmeg.
    Didn’t have sour cream so substituted it for heavy cream.
    Ready in 30 min in my toaster oven 🤩

    I took a double take when I saw a tablespoon of baking powder, but it is right! I baked this recipe tonight and it came out a beautiful golden brown, moist on the inside. I personally like a little more sweetness to my bread, but that can easily be offset by adding whipped cream to your heart's content.

    I used about 4 tbsps of honey in place of Kal Stevia. Buttering the pan liberally would allow the bread to come out easier. It's a good change to the oily one I used to make.

    I made this today...used greek yogurt because I did not have sour cream...worked fine...I will use coconut sugar for sweetner next time. The texture was great. Baked 2 small loaves instead of 1. This is a nice recipe. Will line pans with parchment before baking, for easier removal.Thanks for sharing.

    I like how you stated these are "LOWER CARB" since they are def not low-carb. My first thought was that bananas, esp very ripe ones, have more sugar in them than most any other fruit! So then I saw you said LOWER carb and it made me smile. :-) Thank you for your great LC videos!

      I have bought some banana extract, hoping I can use it to flavor up some banana almond bread I'm going to make. Walnuts, real butter, and real cream cheese frosting, OMG, I could eat a piece right now!! :-D

    I was so excited to watch an almond flour recipe for banana bread, thinking it would be an entirely healthy one. I will skip the sour cream and eggs (I'm vegan), and sugar replacement (I'm plant based), and use unsweetened applesauce, flax eggs, and raw honey (some vegans use it, some don't), in place of. Anxious to try it. Thank you for the video.🌿

    Thank you for the video ! Made these yesterday. Excellent results. Very tasty and moist. I used 3 very ripe bananas and a table spoon of agave syrup for sweetener. Other than that, I followed the recipe.

    DELICIOUS! 💗 I had about a cup of blueberries I needed to use up so I added them to the batter as well. I love this recipe...and my friends 2 Macaws and 2 cockatiel ate their pieces up. 😊

    Cosco sells Almond flour $4.00 per 3lb bag now. Looks like a worthy substitute, I'll be making it later today hopefully.

    I thought this was a great recipe to follow. So my bread is currently in the oven but it's not the consistency of yours. We're vegan, so I used flax eggs & vegan sour cream. It was very thick, I triple checked the ingredients. I added some almond milk. Fingers crossed to see how this will turn out.

    I love this recipe.. I am going to make it.. Since I have been on a low carb and gluten free diet, I have missed bananas so much, but this is still lower carbs..

    for diabetics just remember when the bananas are going bad that means the sugar is more concentrated so you would like to stay away from that you need to stay away from that

    Made it 4× now at work ! So light, so fluffy ! And , i made ( also 4 ) " sticky " date cakes out of your recipe. All gluten free . Changed coconut oil to veg oil . Thank you for a really nice and easy recipe ❤❤❤

      I bring 300 gr dates and 350 ml water to a boil to break up dates . Let it cool very well . I mash with potato masher and add to the original recipe mix .

      Benjamin Chacko it’s a better fat than vegetable oil and has a somewhat fruity flavor that compliments the banana. Enjoy!

      You could sub 3/4 cup of pumpkin for the banana and add 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice. Let me know how it turns out. Thank you for watching!

      servantrose i havent done it cause i have not found the almond flour at any supermarket yet .its not something that the stores usually carry where im from.hopefully il find it soon!!

      are you in America? you can find it at Mustard Seed, Whole Foods, Health Food stores or similar place (maybe do an internet search for similar stores) or you can buy it online at amazon or vitacost. Bob's Red Mill is the most popular kind. I'm baking mine now so I'll post how it comes out.

      I did use almond meal and it came out amazing! I doubled the recipe and made pancakes too. My teenagers loved them!!! Your recipe was really the easiest out there. Hope to see more videos! :)

    I used to purchase Honeyville almond flour, but price today is not $38 for 5 lbs. Price has gone up significantly. I switched to ‘Oh Nuts’, from amazon and I cannot tell the difference.

    Hi..I've tried this bread 3x and I bake it for 1 and a half hour and it still comes out wet inside? What am I going wrong? I tried bake and convection bake..no luck. I use the same pan as you did. 😕

      Yes. I would add 1/4 cup and taste for sweetness, if its not sweet enough add up to 1/4 cup more. I don't bake with monkfruit sweetner often.
