Best in the business if you ask me.... Love these guys... Erics channel is the first recovery I watched and been hooked ever since..... Way to go Abby, you work harder than most....
So you guys and Mater are the only thing I watch now, so many copy cats who think they're offroad tow trucks now, can't watch them! They don't understand that it takes more than a truck to be a actual offroad tow truck driver! It takes years of experience and you definitely got the skills to pay the bills! Recovery Team Rules! Love watching you and Mater! It's something I look forward to everyday! TY guys for the Awesome videos! And will definitely be visiting one day and then, maybe, I'll see you, in the woods! 😅
@MRHSDM316SD18186 FK Yeah! I went back a few months ago and started watching the first videos from many moons ago! So went I everyone and their mother calling themselves an "Offroad Tow Truck" I can't watch copy cats, but Eric and Rory are Double OGs in this Offroad Tow/Recovery game! The Tow truck Olympics was the Shiznit! Those guys got skills, and I'm sure 10 years from now these new comers will have some to? If they stick with it? But until then, I'm sticking with the pro's!
Boy you should be so proud of your daughter . She has came a long ways I wish I had the money I would buy you a brand new crate moter. I love how you make what you have work. Instead of some of the other channels that just throw money at stuff like it doesn't matter . Love you're videos and equipment .
I'm proud of the way your daughter is helping you with recovering people. The snap sounds like you broke an axle. I heard that same sound when I snapped mine in my 14 bolt years ago. I'm wondering if you don't have a problem with the fuel regular causing your rich fuel mixer. Or possibly the temperature sensor. Both cause the same effect. Love your Chanel, Eric.
My guess would be the frame. I remember back when the first one snapped. You had a big heavy rig on the hook. Towing those small vehicles afterwords you wouldn't have noticed. Either the frame or a bolt that holds the box to the frame.
Have you ever thought about changing your torque converter to a small stall converter? I have watched many of your videos and when you change from forward to reverse or reverse to forward gear it is pretty hard shifting. A small stall will eliminate that and also let your motor rev up a bit more and get into the power band quicker. With the gears and low range you should be able to run a 2500 to 2800 converter. I think you will be very happy with that change. Will help when hooking onto them heavy diesel trucks. Just an idea for you. Your square body is a bad ass truck and very capable truck for doing lots of work. Love your videos keep up the great work.
The 1st 3 minits. The cofidence shown by Mss Abby. She took control on her part! But when she knew it was your turn ,,are you okay with that,,? Every one wants a daughter like that. Bless you and mara you have her. And mss Abby you are a great/ wanderful person.
if not spring bolt again... (assume not cause you have that sound memorized by now). I am thinkg you broke a tooth in an axle.. or an axle shaft.. maybe hubs?? orrrr.. winch mount
4:27 I'm guessing a leaf spring snapped on left rear, as I seen the rear left change height suddenly and when it was under increased axle torque and loading by the towed vehicle. now I'll watch the rest and next video to see, I almost watched the "what's broken first", but I'd rather watch the actual video of it breaking and hazard a guess.
Eric, that daughter of yours knows more about off road rescue then most men. She is a hard worker. 😊😊😊😊😊

Been "hooked" ever since.... I see what you did there!😂
@Captain_Yodelstein and we like it

BSF Recovery is "THE O.G. of "Off Road Recovery"

@@MRHSDM316SD18186 DOUBLE OGs
Mara, Eric, My Guess is the Shackle bolt again. God Bless
I think he knows the sound of shackle snaps by now. He said in the video this is a snap he's never heard before.
Shackle bolt.
Thank you for sharing.
Boy you should be so proud of your daughter . She has came a long ways

Time to make that TopKick an Off Road Wrecker, Like Rory says what you tow is getting bigger and bigger, thumbs up ,great video
It was the pivot point on the passenger side of the A shaped arm that you lift vehicles with.
Dunno what could have been that *SNAP* that's why I'm going to tune in for the next video 😎
Inquiring minds wanna know.
Good old trollhaugen. Home of open bar skiing
Ubolt snapped.
Man Abbie Is Kicking butt on Recoveries Eric!
Morning Eric thanks for the video
My guess would be the frame. I remember back when the first one snapped. You had a big heavy rig on the hook. Towing those small vehicles afterwords you wouldn't have noticed. Either the frame or a bolt that holds the box to the frame.
My guess is front spring bolt sheered .
Great weekend mint...
Awesome video. Nice recoveries. Love that red wrecker.
keep the clips coming
You all are hard working folks . Keep up the great videos 👍
Thanks for sharing another video with us. Looks like a lot of fun.
Almost looks like your bed is loose on the pop noise. Maybe a broken u bolt that holds the bed down?
Hi Eric, that sounded like a ubolt or leaf spring. Glad you made it out without losing the tire and broken axle..

Leaf centering Pin for the win 👍😎✊
PS.. Abby aint no seat cushion any longer! Cheers Abby!
I know on my 98 short box GMC the snap is where the frame is cracked when it flexes.
Cool beans. You have a red light popping on n off on your dash cluster 😊
Did it have Anything to do with your Leaf Springs..?
Carry On B S F Recovery.✅👍😎
Front axel .nice video!_
Time to build Abby her own tow rig. Maybe a side x side with wrecker gear for towing atv's etc.
Some SxS's are huge. Though yes a 'mini' truck based wrecker would be a cool start for Abby and her friends
Snap = rear axle shaft?
Great video as always! My guess is a leaf spring broke.
Every time I hear that Hershey commercial, I say "Dam! That sounds like Eric!" 😅 sounds exactly like you brother!
Leaf spring tie bolt snapped
frame broke again? or did the lift block shift?
I think the truck being towed just shifted on the sling and made that popping sound.
Was the "snap" another frame cracking?
I think your winch drum slipped?? or your rear axle snapped??
My guess would be one of the leaf spring packs. Got a broken leaf
Eric it sounded like something hitting on the axle housing of your truck!! Like maybe something inside or a Brocken leaf spring maybe??
It looked as though the bed shifted to the right when it snapped. Leaf spring riser bolt?
bran new leaf spring you just put on 😂 😂
Gunna go out on a limb and say the snap was something breaking. LOL
It was your tow bar where you hook the Jay hook to and the bar kept sliding
That old square body takes a beating and just keeps going. Eric I think it's time for a LS upgrade.
My guess is some kind of Bolt lol thanks for the video 👋
shock mount broke?
I think the snap was the locator pin in the rear lift block.
I'm guessing mounting bolt for boom or winch. That was a big fat truck bouncing around back there.
Sheave head bolt? Or the frame of the tow truck
i would venture a guess that was your leaf spring centering bolt keep on truckin
Right front axle shaft snapped
What is that light on the dash that keeps flashing on and off? I had an 84 with that same light but I dont remember what it was. Im havin a brain fart
Chevy towing a Ford. Always a good sight to see. Need to get seatcover's wrecker up and allow you to give big red some TLC.
The bolt you replaced on the rear spring last repair day.
Shackle bolt or spring maybe chassis
I'm guessing a bed mount.
Shackle bolt😎
I was thinking it was your shackle bolt but it did not sound right. I also kept hearing strange extra noises so maybe a shock?
Sounded like ujoint or driveshaft noise
Had that echo ping sound
Axle shaft?
That was the famous snap of an axle in the rear diff.
Maybe a wheel stud snapped between the duals? Have found them broken on duals in the past.
I’m thinking it’s the center pin in your rear axle lift
must have been on the ther truck, when the noise happened the sling moved o the side a good inch or 2
Is it a u joint
Sounded to me like a rear leaf spring broke. I’ve done that a few times myself.
Oh sure, you buckled a trunnion! >
Gday guys
A rear shackle bolt or rear spring.
Maybe U-bolt or spring perch?
If I was a guess I'd say it was the bolt to hold on the lower part of your sling arm
Leaf spring clamp. Or a broken weld on lifting equipment
U bolt snapped.
Sounded like a rear body bolt
Let me guess years of hard off-road use heavy truck on the back a leaf spring
The ford shifted on the sling
I think it's getting about time for you to build a new wrecker
My guess is rear u-bolt holding the lift blocks in place
Sounded to like a u bolt or a spring breaking.
It sounded like an axle shaft
The front wheels hit the ground and the chains moved to the right side , when the chains became tight they made the sound
Sounded like an axle shaft to me but i think that would have showed itslef better. Maybe a shackle or bolt or both. Good job though!
Spring leaf shackle or shackle bolt
if not spring bolt again... (assume not cause you have that sound memorized by now). I am thinkg you broke a tooth in an axle.. or an axle shaft.. maybe hubs?? orrrr.. winch mount
I saw the crossbar move over so chain hook snap or something
Something with your boom swivel
As the snap happened right when you accelerated, I’m gonna guess the pin inside your rear differential snapped.
It was on your rig, whatever it was. Take your pick.
I would think chakle bolt or spring that snapped
It looked like your boom winch broke a tooth.
Guess after seat covers truck is built Abby will want her own recovery vechile
The home made blocks you made 3 or 4 years ago
betting frame bed bolt ora weld.. i saw shyft in towbar..
Axle snap
*SNAP* "what was that?", your wallet instantly crying and bleeding full fist's of money. 😬
He had to drive all the way to Mankato to get a axel.
Bell housing/ trans case.
Rear main leaf spring from all the weight of that big truck
