I've never heard of a Richard head but have heard of Mr. Karen. If Rick had not taken his chill pill before getting pulled over this incident would have been a lot worse. Glad the LEO did not search the truck.

9:23 clutch disengaging on the G56. We pulled a stuck econoline van in the california desert with our ram 3500 diesel G56 and it sounded exactly the same. We had 37" tires and it slipped

Sheesh. If you dont want a tool box, get a couple of small duffels for tools and ropes and straps. Better than that mess in the back. lol. At least you got pulled over by a cop with no (bad) attitude. He seemed decent about it.
A good example of the right tools making for an easy job! Couple of things: First, license plates do get stolen, it's happened to me twice. First time on a car I had in a "secure" storage place while I was out of the country on a job. The second from the carport of my home, I took the trash out one morning and as I walked back, I noticed it was gone. Since then I bought anti-theft bolts and lock the sucker down but good! The other thing, VIAIR Compressors, I've been using one for nearly ten years. Mine is a basic model just for car tires, single compressor, but has done some light truck tires no problem. Excellent product, used mine many times for my vehicles and other folks. Was just looking at their website recently, thinking of buying a dual-compressor model for my next 4x4. GOOD STUFF!!!
I had to rivet my plate to my tandem axle trailer. But that doesn't do any good because an angle grinder can grind off the VIN off the tongue.

Oh you know… Just another road pirate doing road pirate sh*t. I got so sick of being messed with in my truck while [legally] just trying to get down the road with a load that I splurged for a retainer on an attorney. The money I’ve saved on bullsh*t tickets he’s gotten thrown out is getting close to paying me back for his legal services.
I was wondering why Hellboy wasn't on the job, but Black Betty won the day....props to that Trooper for his civil attitude and customer service skills👏👏👏.

Yea the PO PO where I live catch you running a truck like that and they will take the plates off of it and pull the registration. Its the state police not the sheriff or local police. Mine 2006 mega cab It all starts out with no mud flaps then I fixed that then they measured from the frame to the ground and said remove the lift or put smaller tires on it and bring it back for inspection. It just went on and on with more bullshit. No more then 4 lights on the front BS. God forbid a puff of black smoke come out the back. Then they attacked it pulled me over in a 70 for doing 68 and said its a commercial vehicle because its in a business name and it being a 2500. Basically told me my speed limit is 60 in a 70 wrote me a $175.00 ticket for going 8 over on the freeway. SCREW THE STATE PO PO. I ended paying to transfer it out of the business name to mine. It stays parked in my shop till I move to Arizona.
Is this CHP Law? They suck when it comes to tinted windows too.

You could have told the LEO "We use 1 license plate for all vehicles" and the darn sticky back on the Velcro just doesn't like hot weather. I have had my driver license since high school and have memorized the number, but when the credit union teller wants to know our account number, they get the driver's license number. Don't get old Rick it sucks!

A senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left. Amazing, he thought as he flew down I-94, pushing the pedal even more.
Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, What am I doing? I'm too old for this, and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival.
Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go."
The old gentleman paused. Then he said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a state trooper. I thought you were bringing her back."
"Have a good day, sir," replied the trooper.

So I have a 2019 Chevrolet 3500 short bed. I’m looking at getting a bumper and a winch. What is your suggestion on a good and reliable winch with out dropping I ton of money. I don’t know what winch to get. I have a 12,000 pound toy hauler and I might upgrade in a few years, and my truck is 8,500 pounds. I’m thinking I might need a 16,000 to 18,000 pound winch or bigger I don’t know. I’m not looking to spend $4,000.00 on a warn wrench but I want it to work when I need it.
Get a warrior winch, I’m putting them on all my trucks, I just got done trialing an 18k on the front of hellboy, pretty bulletproof! Very reasonably priced too! They are going to be one of our sponsors.
