All thanks to HONDA, Now RE forced to make refined products....... Emotions cant sell every time.
Its great to see some of the better companies pushing the field forward.
I live in Delhi. Daily use from home to office for 2..5 hours of driving.
Meteor steller black is costing 2.18 Lakhs around
Honda Hness dlx black is costing 2.20 Lakhs around.
Which one should I buy ?
Japanese bikes are an emotion for their super engineering but I like the classic re feel too
This Meteor was very beautiful.

I have my Thunderbird 350( the initial model) sitting at a shed in India collecting dust. The new features look neat but I really loved the old handlebar and meters. It gave the rider the cruiser feel. I think I will still stick to my Yamaha XVS650 and wait for RE to bring a 650 model. Cheers for the detailed review.

I just did a test ride yesterday, and boy it's so much better than classic and thunderbird, be it handling, cruising in city traffic, or highways and not to forget such minimal vibrations as compared to the previous models🔥🔥🔥

I still like the thunderbird look, the modern by and taillight, though the engine and transmission has been improved for good

I think I'll have to retain my faithful avenger for driving in the city. And buy an RE Roadster (whenever it launches) exclusively for the highway. RE doesn't seem to reduce the weight of their bikes. It's impossible to handle such weights in the city, esp. for shorter people like me. At least they got the height right with this bike...

Good move by RE for removing old school tappet rod operated camshaft and added counter balancer shaft... this bike will give good confidence to RE lovers and boost their confidence to buy in coming years... great work 👏

My wishlist for RE 350 Meteor :
Meteor needs to shed 10kgs more, increase power by 4hp & torque by 4Nm, have a 4V SOHC, 6- Speed Transmission & Yes! LEDs would be nice as well
Noone Seems to talk about the exhaust being free flow, for the first time on stock! Which is great for speed.
RE don a very good JOB this is the real updated version with the brand new Engine and Chassis

Blue colour looks highlights of the Indian road
Still they couldn't figure out ways to reduce vibration,reduce weight,engine heat ,rusting underneath .I don't think it will compete in any way with Honda CB 350, Honda solved almost all problems very efficently. Choose wisely before investing .❤️ Thanks for this review.👍

Super review Rishad!👍🏼 But I don't understand this logic....why two clocks?😑 Also they didn't show the same timings! RE could have used the second screen to better use as explained.
The product is good as mentioned and I agree with the verdict totally, but I expected more from RE! (maybe that's what makes me a non RE customer!🤪)
I'd rather buy the CB350. Honda has nailed it in the refinement, fuel efficiency, fit and finish and MAINLY SOUND!! Stolen the bastion from the king itself.
RE only if they hasten up with the 650 Cruiser KX650, whatever. If they do that with good fit and finish and not rusting prone parts that even their supposedly most quality oriented bike Interceptor has, then maybe.

there are many bikes like Jawa , Honda who make RE to produce a great bike, this is going to be a great touring bike.

But just some minor changes are there
everything is same like the old models
RE has to provide some price justifying features in their bikes like other companies provide like Bajaj dominor 400.
I mean just check the number of features they are providing as per the price
I used to find 350 underpowered on gear ratios esp on hills. Hope Meteor will scale heights with ease, else will have to wait for the 650 cruiser, coz thats a fantastic engine. Any idea about it launch boyz?

Few things which is missing in this bike according to me
1. Oil cooling system like the himalayan
2.slipper clutch
3.6th gear (may be may be not)
4. Square large rear view mirror
5. LED headlamp
6.rpm meter
7.large fuel tank 21 lit
Can we expect the next generation classic to come through the J platform too ?
Just loved the engine kill switch.
I think there should be also a variant without the small navigation console to make it a more cost effective variant
