American here, just got my Shotgun 650 in Stencil White. It was the first White RE delivered in my state. It’s perfect for my needs and was well worth the wait. I expect these to be hard to keep in stock in Western markets.
My appreciation for the designers of jawa increased many folds.. whatever that bike be, the designers have made the 42 bobber and perak look really dashing.

Gotta appreciate Jawa for getting those twin exhaust design spot on in the first attempt. RE is still struggling with those barrels.
IT WOULD BE COOL TO HAVE A COMPARISON OF ALL THE 650 CC FROM RE!!! (Interceptor VS GT650 VS SUPER METEOR 650 VS SHOTGUN 650) And yes, to all the people who got offended by this small comment , even i do not know, I am here just to clarify, i wanted a comparison in which, all the same engine bikes are there and what are the autocar journalists' opinion on it is.. ever since all you are saying its same bike but different, why should i chose one bike over the other? even though it has the same engine... I get it, the ergonomics are slightly different, same engine, then why? It will be fun indeed, whether if the journalists' chose a bike of their own or not... Like a Big3 Adventure bike comparison where the took all the bikes to Rajasthan, if they do something similar with the 650 cc enfields it will be fun for sure. it is just a video suggestion so why take it personally?

Good One Rishaad, really liked your enthusiasm, on this one. One observation this is what TVS would have imagined when they started designing RONIN, but their execution was poor, where TVS has misssed and messed up with RONIN, RE has nailed with the Shotgun❤
to be honest, The continental GT650 is probably the most fun twin and best twin in my opinion. You cannot complain about a riding posture , IT IS A CAFE RACER. so yeah, gt650 for me ❤

I'm an Australian and ride a 2020 Classic 500 and was interested in the Shotgun 650 with the mid controls and I'm disappointed that it doesn't look as per the concept and am now looking at the 2023 Harley Davidson X500.
I love Rishaad reviews. Very comprehensive and top quality.
Time for RE to up the game in terms of performance. For 650 cc 47 bhp is too less. They should use liquid cooling tech like in Himalayan and other manufacturers.

Very objective presentation. Shotgun 650 looks great, and so do the other 650s too, but I plan to keep my Thunderbird 500 (2014) which is still the most comfortable RE motorcycle ever made.

The way the seat has been mounted on the chassis using a spring type setup, do You think it can be modified to hug the chassis and reduce height by about 1 inch or would it be a bad idea ?
I have been waiting for SHOTGUN since they first unveiled it. I really liked the Super M. but the foot pegs positioning doesnt work for me. I do have some reservations regarding the looks of the shotgun but I wouldnt hold my breath. I think for me it might work in a darker color with the rear seat added. I really appreciate RE's efforts for bringing new stuff to the market as opposed to other manufacturers.
I never commented on any of the videos, I started liking your videos after I watched CBR 650R review, Recently I took test ride of shotgun and u covered all the aspects and it's 100% crct. Going forward I can blindly trust your reviews...

What a absolutely stunning looking bike, can't wait to see this out on the streets.
The 650cc twin is a beautiful engine, but it’s sad that none of the machines with this engine is a comfortable 2 up tourer. Himalayan 450 seem to be the best tourer in the RE stable and it’s a shame that 650cc engine couldn’t spawn a tourer which in my opinion is a better engine for touring (having experienced both) than the sherpa 450. Hope they offer this 650 on an adv at some point in the future.

The name of the model justified the characteristic of the motorcycle.kudos to royal Enfield for launching this majestic motorcycle.
Buy the Interceptor, get some aftermarket suspension upgrades by Indian manufacturers, aftermarket lightweight exhausts and air filter. Further upgrades can be in the form of a radial master cylinder. Perfect for any purpose!
Any recommendations for suspension and cylinders?

If the rear fender is long then it won't be a bobber

I wish RE could make... Something like Triumph Speedmaster but under 650 cc, with all the feel and tubeless spoke wheels. Mouthwatering
Uses the same rear suspension from SM650 which is infamous for its stiff ride.
Please do a review with pillion as well....I know that is really not the point of this bike but it would be nice to know what the experience is like since they are offering the option for it

I might wait a few years until the new hymalayan panel is added to the other royal enfield models.
With every new bike, RE seems is increasing the weight of it products. I'm now impressed with the design of this bike compared especially with the HD X440 & the Yezdi Roadster. The Yezdi Roadster is much more proportionate than this thing. Also, pitting it against the X440, no RE can match it in terms of design. This is one heavy ass vehicle.
So what are you expecting a bobber should weight? 80Kg? 😂

To be honest, i wouldn't mind a beefier rear wheel to close the gap between rear mudguard and the tire itself. Seems a little bit off doesn't it? 🤔🤔

Hi can the handlebar of the shotgun 650 be used on the meteor 350
it seems hunter 650 to me with single seat in most of the sences, whether its sitting position, seat height, saddle position, suspenssion, handle bars, Fuel Tank(mostly similar), breaks are same but break disk measurement are little different, wheel diameter and wheel thickness, concole(much like meteor which is similar to the hunter) only exhaust is different.
RE is going to be the most Iconic brand out from India for the world like Apple or Harley. Craze for RE is never ending

Wonderful review, as usual. But I don't find the bike as wonderful. Looks are subjective I know, but to me this bike looks like it has some identity crisis.
I'm obviously biased towards Super Meteor when I say this. I'm still smitten by how it looks, and I think Rishad too. Because at 4:18, Rishad said Super Meteor instead of Shotgun. 😅

Agree about the rear mudguard, visually awkward.
I understand the complains about the handle bar but having a handle bar a bit higher and a bit closer to the rider would absolutly spoil the looks.
This just looks like a classic with the rear seat removed. Jawa bobber is still the Best looking bobber.

Super Meteor with midset footpegs would be the perfect bike for me. Now that SG 650 is out, retrofitting may be possible.

There is no comparison between all 650 bikes as they all have different purpose. As this is for short city rides. Meteor is for Highway long rides and so on

47 BHP from 650CC parallel twin makes no sense when 450CC of Himalayan can produce 40 BHP. This time RE has all the scrap and a Himalayan.
It's all about old school character.
It also has a cylinder more....that makes the bike feel very different in a good way....also the tourqe delivery is different....390adv is also a beast just like the new Himalayan but a single will be harsher and stretched!
650 twin is air/oil cooled, while Himalayan's 450 is liquid-cooled. Liquid-cooled engines with their large radiators wouldn't suit the looks and character of classic-styled motorcycles. Also the 650 twin prioritizes low-end torque over peak power output for a cruiser-style performance.

If you are going to make a new bike, atleast don't put recycled parts..

RE has been messing up with the handle placement lately. And as for the new bikes, the feasibility of modifications have gone down. I mean, you could do anything on those old RE bikes. These day, even handlebars are hard to get.
