I realized my hair become damaged after I made showering with hot water as a routine. Hurm...
Yes, so true! 💗
Hello There
Try and wash your hair with cold water after washing it with hot water. Idk the difference it'll make but I saw it on another channel.
Wait the cold water thing was already in the video lol
Mmmh didn’t think of this . So true !! Thank you
Wash it with warm water it's the best. It's not too hot and not cold. Cold water traps the dirt in your hair follicles because it's too cold so it closes them up, trust me I've washed my hair with cold water so many times and it damaged my hair really bad, I've started using warm water a while ago and my hair still hasn't completely recovered, also hot water is definitely not the answer either because it's way too much heat. While washing the scalp, use warm water and once you wash the scalp and you want the benefits of how shiny your hair is because of cold water, use it only on the middle part and the ends, definitely dont use it on the scalp. Hope I've helped you if you needed it♡
I'm using this amazing coconut oil by Dabur Vatika. It's found in most Indian stores. This coconut oil contains henna, amla, and lemon :)
oh, sounds amazing! Thank you for sharing. 💗
That's actually not a good hair oil. Only 15-20% of the ingredients are mentioned in the bottle. If it works well on your hair then that's great but I would suggest you to use pure coconut/amla oil for best results. Upto you :)
Charu Shekhar lemon dries hair out
Akansha Nathaniel it works pretty well for my hair. But thank you for the tips! :)
Actually Parachute in India has been making Coconut oils for generations now, and they're just as good. Plain, effective and simple.
My hair is usually straight, shiny and quite silky but now its strawlike feeling when i run my hair down with my fingers, rough, brittle, dry and gives off a frizzy texture. I will try these tips
I had the same problem. Be sure you are not using products with too much protein in it and try to moisture your hair. I had strawlike hair and I am not using heat or never dye my hair. I went to see a specialist and she told me I have too much protein in my hair and that's why
i have fine silky black hair which was really shiny and silky 3-4 months ago. now they look dry and tangle so much I can't even glide my fingers. idk what go wrong, i never dye my hair and never used heat. i go to gym 6days a week so i have a pretty good diet. i really want to know what happened and how can i fix it.
@@ajush1972 which shampoo is good? Which has no or less chemicals
@@lucialane639 i actually forgot about this so idk how it would turn out😂

Might be air pollution
Another hair tip for curly/ frizzy hair I use a mask from Giovanni “Hot oil hair treatment “ heat the packet up in water then apply from roots to ends, massage scalp for a minute next I add cold pressed Castor oil & jojoba oil together (rub in hands fast together creates a warming effect) and run through scalp (at least massaging twice for about a minute ) then put a disposable shower cap on and leave on for at least 2 hrs if not longer. This works for me maybe not others just a tip.
Now that I’ve started this I will not ever stop :)
also, TIP! Use a shampoo and conditioner with an appropriate pH level! THIS IS IMPORTANT! For my lovely curly hair people out there missing this could be bad for you! You can search up a pH hair chart to see what pH level you need, and look up the pH level in your hair products, or you can just order a pH testing kit if necessary to see for yourself!
I think it should be somewhere between 4 and 5.5, right?
@@jillkx depends if your hair is damaged/dyed or not i believe
I've actually noticed that when I airdry my hair, my hair seems more damaged. It gets frizzy and puffy and almost in a thick rectangular shape. This happens because parts of my hair, (usually the top of my hair and the back of my hair) dries really fast. Those are the damaged parts of my hair that dries really really fast. Like, the rest of my hair can be extremely dripping wet and under the top layer of my hair will already be dry.
The best way to dry your hair is to warp it in a towel and let it dry.
I’ve tried both vinegar and rice water. I have wavy semi frizzy hair and I can tell you that both made my hair fall out. Vinegar used once a week can add a bit of shine but I’m not sure if it’s good for your hair’s pH. Rice water just made my hair even coarser and frizzier. The only thing that has helped my hair is conditioning my tips with hyaluronic acid or coconut oil every other day.

Heyy!! Did you try this? If so did it work?
yeah did it work?
When I was a kid I had luxurious long, thick curly hair and (of course) I decided to straighten it🙄. I never used heat protectant sprays or protein masks to help my hair so in the long run, my hair became thin and rough to the touch. I've transitioned back to my curly hair for 4 years now and my hair looks healthy now. Unfortunately though, it's not as thick as it was when I was a kid. Will I ever get my thickness back?

Because of this quarantena I couldn't go to my hairstylist, so I had the genius idea of cutting split ends with nails scissors😅ya know, sometimes you feel like it's not gonna happen to you...but it did😅😅after one week I had more and I ordered some hair scissors, but they didn't arrive yet. Dear Natu Fdo,
I’m so very sorry to hear all that you are going through. Life is hard isn’t it? We all face anxiety and depression at times in our lives. I wish I could hold your hand and tell you everything will turn out ok. But I can’t. I’m here and you are there. But I know someone who can hold your hand and tell you everything is going to be ok. Jesus said come unto me all who are weary and I will give you REST. Jesus also said that He is CLOSE to the BROKEN-HEARTED. Please understand that Jesus’ promises are true and He will NEVER EVER break His promises. He will take your anxiety away and lift you out of the depression. Talk to him like you would your best friend bc He is the BEST FRIEND YOU WILL EVER HAVE. May God keep you and bless you and may His face shine down upon you. I really care about you.

If I trim my split ends every 6 weeks I will never grow my hair 😅😅😅
Right? I wait 3-4 months for a tinyyy trim
Its the slow progression of healthy hair that makes it worth it 👍
You’re 100% right. The last time I got a trim just to get rid of split ends was a couple months ago and before that it’s been 5 years. You really don’t need to cut your hair that often if you want it to be long. My hair is past my butt by the way.
It has been a year since I had a trim. I hate my hair. Lol. Damnit.
Me too :( and my hair only gets worse after trimming so i dont really trust saloon and just let it explode into a frizz :/
me too i got it cut in january and then quarantine happened
I would recommend cutting only a couple cm of your hair at home but do this at least once a month, that way you don't have to go anywhere or cut too much of your hair
Love the food part, you should make more of good food for healthy hair😍🥰✨

After puberty my hair got way curlier. For the past couple of months I’ve been getting out of the shower and just leaving it to air dry with its curliness and since then and growing it out It’s been getting frizzy and somewhat stinging on my scalp.
My hair has always been damaged and I had no idea why until a few months ago, when my mum told me she bleached it when I was very young-
Where did you purchase your top? Super cuteee I need one!
I'm growing out some layers, and they have damage. I don't know how to deal with getting the ends trimmed off when I'm trying to grow it out. Seems to me they'd have to cut off a lot of length off the layers to accomplish it. I'm trying to be patient and wait for it to get through this awful phase when it's finally long enough that I don't mind cutting some off.
Whatever happened to shampoo formulas that were specifically designed for split ends?
Good video! (I would like to know where to get the cream crop top you have please?) Thank you
We appreciate your support, Lisa! 💗
I don't recommend vinegar I put vinegar on my hair and my hair the next morning get all dry and damage and my hair was really long amd beautiful for that reason I had to cut my hair so short 😭😭
You must have used undiluted vinegar. You need to dilute it in a 1:3 ratio or higher for it to work
How is it now?
vineger definitely dries out hair as it's acidic,so if your hair is dry just add like 2 teaspoons of vineger in 2 cups of water and use it as the last rinse...I use that and it doesn't dry out my hair(sorry for bad English btw)
I like to mix like 2 tablespoons in a cup with shampoo to wash my hair and then do deep conditioning after that my hair looks clean and shiny I do it once a month if is oily might be twice.
It turns your hair gray also
So do you rinse with rice water then rinse the rise water with cold water or just leave the rice water on the hair ? Thanks in advance
OHHHHHHH THIS MAKES SINCE because I dyed my hair green and its rough thanks for telling me
My hair started getting very dry after switching to natural shampoo is that normal? Or should I stop using natural shampoo for now it has been 1 week since I started using natural shampoo.
I make my own oil! I just add curry leaves in hot coconut oil let it sit for a while and then strain it. :)
Nice
oh, interesting! Thanks for sharing. 💗
I have heard that works wonderfully well on bald patches too. It's amazing to grow your hair. Now all I need to do is get some curry leaves in this quarantine
Rinse with ricewater as final step as to leave it to dry with it ?
Don’t forget to wash the rice impurity’s . And put the rice and add water and store for 24 hours and then the next day wash or bottle spray the rice water and leave it in for 20 min ( I do it for 1 hour .) rinse ps. Add your favorite essential oil like 1 drop.
Short and crisp😌

When I was younger, I had this thicc silk shiny voluminous hair but over the years it’s pretty much turned into Hagrids hair and I have no idea why but then I realized that I used to shower in near boiling water and that’s probably what did it. I’ve heard that hair is mostly genetic so I’m wondering if there’s still hope for me to revive mine bc it was born in good condition and was only damaged by the climate ig.

It's been 2 years since the last time I cut my hair. I can't stand it anymore. I have thick, long wavy, dry hair and I don't do anything to it, I only use coconut oil but it feels a bit uncomfortable and it doesn't help that much with dryness. I don't have a blow dryer. I feel like uncle It. I would need at least 100 bucks to buy masks and treatments for my hair. Taking care of your hair is expensive :c going to a stylist is at least 80 dollars. I guess I will start saving. Thanks for sharing your tips!!
i've heard from several hair stylists that coconut oil molecules are too large and only penetrate the top layer of hair, therefore its temporary. Argan oil has a smaller molecule (so ive heard) and it goes into the hair shaft for a longer lasting treatment.

i have tiny little static broken bits that stick up on top of my head even when i wear it down, and my ends are so dry and split and when i don’t straighten my hair it is so dry
Hi love, we're sorry to hear this! We recommend always applying a heat protectant before heat styling, and using hair masks, serums, or oils regularly to help smooth frizz and bring some moisture back to your strands 💗
@@LuxyHair Thank you so much! i have seen unhealthy and dead hair and my hair is definitely not that bad but i do have a naturally dry hair texture and when i use a lot of conditioner it does get softer, i just can never wear it down without straightening it because it’s so fluffy and puffy even tho it’s naturally straight. but when i straighten it, it looks healthy:)
Shower with lukewarm water instead of cold to open up your hair follicles
When you wash your hair with cold water it closes your hair follicles and traps the dirt because it's too cold, if you wash it with warm water it opens them up and releases all the dirt and one you wash your scalp you can rinse it with cold water but DONT TOUCH THE SCALP
