Very nice work and video. I have an old Bilek kit which is also Dragon Su-24. I was about to buy the new one from Trumpeter but you inspired me and I will maybe build the old Dragon kit too. Best Daniel
@@CloneCommanderRose i don't see any american Fulcrums, flankers, frogfoots or blackjacks hmm... maybe they don't copy America after all. It's the same as saying every plane is copied from the kittyhawk, just because it has wings!
Thanks for this good video. Will buy this model very soon, but I always like to watch out for other people buildings so I can be aware of any kind of issues. Back in the 80s when I started using airbrush, Badger was the available in my country at the time. Sometime foward, I bought a FAR-EAST pack from a new company selling online named Luckymodels. Pack had a mini-Air Compressor and a Airbrush DH-103 from a Sparmax brand. Since then, I have only used Sparmax Airbrushes and Compressors. Absolute joy to work with, easy all around. So glad I found another modeller using this great brand. Cheers!
Hi...very nice work as usual!! At about the 15:11 mark you mix two Gunze colors and spray on the model. Just wondering, is this to highlight the panel lines? What is the purpose of this technique and the post shading technique later in the vid? Wanting to improve my jets and am interested in your techniques. Thanks! DREW
please do a mig-23mld build - there are competitors and some of them are east europe origin, I don't know which to buy and I have limited budget. sincere admiration from Istanbul
Is there any mode kit that can do a complete Fencer wing articulation? Those self adjusting pylon maybe difficult to implement. It would be amazing if it exists.
Looks to me like a lot of sanding to do. And filling on the injector pin marks. Beauty is only skin deep, the truth of the kit is it has fit issues and markings issues - am I right?
No, the kit was a pleasure to build! You should try to build a Dragon kit... there you can find sanding and filling, not to mention that it's a 1cm!! Short. All the best! Dusan.
@@ScaleModelAircraft Great news then I heard wrong. Your kit BTW looks 👍 great. I do have some DML kits and whew you said it, they are tough. The He 219 and the Are 234 not yet started. But the long span TA 154 is a bear. Keep posting as I really enjoy your work and the way you present it!
Thank you!! 🍺 DML Su-24... ah... nightmare, not to mention mine He-219 in 72nd ("new" 2005 edition)... whole panel lines on fuselage aren't in line/missed by 3mm! So I had to rescribe all panel lines. All the best! Dusan. Btw: Ar-234 isn't that bad!
No, it looks mostly ok in that regard, but it looks like a mix between Su-24M bomber and MR recon plane features; nose and cockpit design is MR, intakes and antennas along the spine need checking, MR should have no bomb pylons on the belly whatsoever, just a central equipment pod, drop tank mounts on inboard wing pylons, another recon pod on one outboard pylon and an adapter for two R-60 short range AA missiles on the other. I didn't spot which optics it has on the bottom. But I think this kit can be built into the correct 24MR if you pay attention to reference photos and videos over instructions, even if requires a bit of fitting.
yes!!! i'm looking for pictures to confirm this... the MR version is unarmed except by R-60 missiles... the instructions of Trumpeter conducts to error... good observation... hello from Brazil
Hello! You use a cyanoacrylate and a liquid cement, and am trying to understand why you switch them. Is the liquid (brush in the cap) used for crack filling? Your work is amazing. I never tried anything that small. I build 1:35 mostly, and am getting a second steam locomotive, BR 86, by Trumpeter. Keep building!
+Jaroslav J. Peterka Thanks! The liquid glue with brush is for capillary action and the Revell contacta (with nedle) is also regural glue not a cyanoacrylate. All the best! Dusan.
Nice job! Question: That liquid "Mr. Cement" in the bottle that you're using...is there any particular reason why you use that over any other brand? Is it better that the other cements?
Tha is probbably litle oversigth of modeler :D Nevertheless nice model. here: The Su-24MR (Fencer-E) is a dedicated tactical reconnaissance variant. It entered service in 1983. It lacks attack radar, cannon and attack avionics, in favor of panoramic cameras, side-looking airborne radar and infrared reconnaissance system. It also carries other podded sensors. This reconnaissance aircraft can carry two R-60 (AA-8 Aphid) air-to-air missiles for self-defense.
1:19....."Informative instruction"..... Well......aren't they always? Otherwise, what's their use....? :-) But I think I know what you meant ! Nice build, though. I always enjoy your videos.
I absolutely do not understand the way of using gunze glue Cement S... I thought this thin glue was developed to glue 2 parts already put together so why people use it separately and let it evaporate off before they put 2 parts together ? I thought this glue should work that you put 2 parts together, apply glue into interstice and capillary ensures it is glued...
That's an utterly stunning Fencer. Very well done. excellent paint job especially the tone and shading. Great vid.
An excellent guide for people who will only be engaged in modeling. Very cool.
great build Dusan! Always a pleasure to watch your work!
Thanks Alex! All the best! Dusan.
Your sticking down tape when you glued it so you haven't got to hold it you give me good Idea thankyou 😊
Dude, you're a "monster"! Congratulations on the nines!

Fantastic model. Very striking in that colour scheme. Please turn the music down.
Russia's answer to the General Dynamics F-111, good review!
looks like Russia can't make there own planes so they copy us
Max Brandt I think Ту 22М3
both have a very different role

I can check the 48th scale Fencer, really dont know... All the best! Dusan.
amazing piece!!! Are those rivets all original from trumpeter products or DIY?
All original from the kit itself
All the best! Thanks!
Beautiful!!! Which thinner do u use for AKAN paints and then to clean the airbrush? I had bad experience with those...
Bad ass bro! looks fucking awesome!

Why does no one build commercial jetliners in this quality? is this a generational thing? thanks for sharing btw!!

Just a comment for the algorithm
great👍🏻..I would like to build like U...but I have two left hands😂
Dusan that was great to watch...do you wash the cockpit and wheel bays???
+Quadrant14 Yes, a light wash with dark gray... All the best! Dusan.

yes!!! i'm looking for pictures to confirm this... the MR version is unarmed except by R-60 missiles... the instructions of Trumpeter conducts to error... good observation... hello from Brazil

is the SP 35 for bigger surfaces and the SP 20 for smaller ones?
Открыл коробку су-24мр, а сделал су-24 м с бомбами. У МР 2 ракеты Р-60

I am wondering why you are using glue for the seams? So you don't have to sand them later? , I'm just curious !
No no, just to check the seams. I have obsession to do that :-D All the best! Dusan.
Great work Dusan, congratulations!I will build the M version soon...Was there any hard fitting problems with the kit, especially the intakes area?
As I recall, I had no fit issue in that area. Thanks!!! All the best! Dusan.

amazing build! what product do you use for your decals? it seemed very high quality and I'm looking for something like it
Thanks! I am using few items the Revell Decal soft, GSI Gunze Mr. Setter (Blue) and Mr Softner (Green bottle) excellent stuff. All the best! Dusan.
You added NO weight in the nose, is the model nose heavy ?
You can add approximately 15grams. All the best!! Dusan
how many parts in this kit ?
кто знает , подойдет ли головная часть от вэс-стрим к трумпетеру ?
Is there supposed to be a slight seam or crack at wing roots
Yes. All the best! Dusan.
