Elegancki.

G'Day ModelFun I've read a lot of negative reviews about the Trumpeter !/32 P40 and the inaccuracies in the kit(fuselage length, nose shape, incorrect cockpit). But I have to say "if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck" then it has to be a P-40 😁 Excellent build, I might have to go buy one now. Cheers 👍👍😁😁
Hello @mikey6020 Thank you for watching and your comment. Yes I read the same. Here is one review I checked: www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/tru/kit_tru_2212.shtml But still, like you said- it does look like a P40, and most of the negative comments are about the cockpit - wich after the completion is not very much visible. I wish all models are 100% accurate... but well. For the decent money this one goest toghether with no issues and for me the outcome is satisfying :) Cheers!
Well done and appreciate the call outs for what you were using 👍. Burma Banshees is one of my major builds I want to do. Fantastic look at this kit too. Thanks all around. ☕🐢
Thank you so much for watching and leaving the comment. I want to make better videos so, I appreciate if you can give me any hint what can be done better of wat is annoying and can be changed:) Thank you.
Fabulous! Going right in and drill the tires on my GWH P-40B. Great idea! Like the shading on the wings too, looks a bit like "oil canning". Might have to get me one of these Trumpy "N"'s.
Thank you. I'm happy you like it. One note thou, not sure if this is also the case in P-40B, but in N version for sure the part behind the pilot seat should not be painted in cocpit green color. I got this info too late, but maybe for you it is not yet too late to avoid this mistake. It most likely should be in the camouflage color, so in my case - olive drab. Cheers and happy modeling!
Thank you. P40 from Trumpeter kits have some inacurracies. I'm not that of a rivet counter, but you may find this post interesting: forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/11647-132-trumpeter-p-40f-warhawk/ Cheers!
What an amazing result, such precision and so many ideas. I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier as I'm currently finishing the M variant so I could have taken on board the tips you showed with this build. Oh well, there's always another P-40 for a future build :)
Nice job mate. I'm building this model at the moment and I know how crappy the panel fit and gaps are, in fact the unfinished model has sat for 7 months due to disappointment in the appalling gaps. I also fitted the Big Ed detail set and Brassin wheel set, which cost more than the original model!!! I had a lot of drama with the locating tabs when fitting the lower wing. You've inspired me to press on, cheers!

Hello @ChristianSchroter-ok4sk :) Thank you for watching. I'm happy you like this one. It was a fun build for me, with no issues at all. What do you model? Is it WWII or more modern subjects? Best regards my friend! Model ON! :)
WOW I am completely impressed by the quality of your build! I can see that you are continually learning new techniques and that really shows in this one. I need to watch your video a couple more times to soak it all in. By the way my 'stang will be finished soon and while I'm overall happy with the way it's turning out I find it lacking in certain respects when I compare it to the quality of your build. But it is the best I can do so I'll try to not judge model building abilities too harshly. Have you decided what model you will build next?
Hi Darren ! Thanks for watching and your comment. I knew I can count on you! ;) Yes, I'm trying new things and aim to be better with every build. I'm glad you noticed it :). Next project I have in my head will be probably BF 109. But I'm thinking of making something specjal, like adding lights or something. We will see. Anyway, July and August is going to be busy with other things, so maybe I will start in September. I'm sure your Mustang is looking good, and I'm waiting to see the finał result! Cheers!
@@modelfun

Dokładnie;) nie pomyślałem o tym. Ale w sumie, sklejka trochę wikolu i można Mosquito ulepić. ;)

I enjoyed watching your excellent build. One question, if I may. Why did you put the small screws into the tyres?
Thank you for watching. Small screws are used to make the rubber tyre flat, so the model look like the waight is there and the tyre is a bit flat.
@@modelfun Excellent, that idea is genius. Thank you.
