TBH the fact that they've risen to the challenge of making unique music videos that manage to tell a story without being able to go to a studio or even be in the same room to each other is pretty impressive. Also there's a lot to unpack here, symbolically, with what each band member is going through.
Considering how many bands these days just get recorded jamming out in a room or landscape while the singer makes cool poses and calls it a day, I'd say Evanescence's vids are still pretty creative and ahead of the curve.

I've been an Evanescence fan since I bought their Fallen CD in 2002. Me and my elementary school boyfriend used to sing 'wake me up inside' and jam out when my parents were at work. Then I downloaded Limewire and discovered origins and fell in love with that as well. I do like some of their new music but part of me really missed the raw emotion i felt in the first few albums. No one else made operatic music with such beautiful piano and I really miss it.
