According to me , she didn't speak properly and then has more repetition in answer. All ielts trainer said to everyone single line answer is not good effect of the examier. you was very easily given 4.0 band then you will be gave approximately 6 or 6.5.

From my experience I would say speaking is kind of tough if u have anxiety problems or get too scared we cant blame us for that , its natural. For me I speak quite nicely but I get scared when I speak in front of someone and tend to forget everything. For those ppl who have confidence i really respect them

This types of examiners is badly needed to make the examinee feel confident. He had a gentle smile on his face the whole time whatever the answer was which is why the examinee feels like she is at home and that helps her a lot to express herself. I attended in IELTS 4 years back where i got only 6.0 at speaking test but actually i had got myself prepared to get more band score. Unfortunately my examiner was just like a robot or something like an army interrogator which made me extremely nervous and forget what to say properly.

The most important for me when Taking IELTS speaking exams was to enjoy and express yourself. Do not pressure yourself and try to be calm as much as possible. Besides, treat it just like a normal conversation with a neighbor or friends. Since, some of the questions are common and sometimes we also put it in a conversation or we used to talk it rather. Like for example, What do you do for your free time ? Do you have a big family ?. It is just normal questions❤️. It would be better if we have a peace of mind during the exam and I do believe things will follow. Everything would not lead to futility.

One of those things that I realized very soon, was the pronunciation and the fact that she pronounced the words with a different accent which was understandable but she couldn't pronounce them with the real accent as the way they are pronounced correctly by a native. And the other problem I realized which she was struggling with was the lack of vocabularies which she needs to improve it so that she can use them with phrases, and.. That would be a great score, learning the structures and how the words are used in sentences. And also it's important to understand the interesting questions which the examiner mentioned "communication skills" topic, that topic sounds good to me, and a good answer would be really awesome to complete the topic.

When we listen to some one speaking fluently and just beautifully, we understand him/her well, but when it comes to us to speak, we can't make a speech like them. That's a psychology. And sometimes lack of vocab in our native language

Just to be fair, she did her best but to pass this exam, I think she needs to learn basic English and Comprehension and then if she's already confident then she can retake the exam.

Speaking is the easiest part in the exam, you have to be relaxe and calm while you talking + talk with the examiner as your friend, you dont have to be more formal with him.
