I like this examiner, he is always kind with all candidates, I, honestly, appreciate him❤️ In addition, I love his recommendations as well as feedbacks!
This examiner is so gentle, friendly, and polite.
The examiner is a polite person and he can make the candidate feel comfortable
She is so good that she deserves more then 7😢
I really appreciate the examiner, he is so motivating and his feedbacks are on point. Feeling stressed is inevitable in such exams and the examiner's behaviour really affects the test taker.
Thanks
Honestly the best feedback ever, hope i had my speaking tutor like him.

Yeah bro I wish I could have an examiner like you so friendly 🙂
I want to take my IELTS mock test by such a polite Sir "Samson", I have never seen such a good-minded teacher on the internet before. Although it is not possible for me especially for internet issues because where I have been living in the countryside of Bangladesh 🇧🇩🇧🇩 Just pray for me ,, I'm taking my IELTS preparation

Most likely all examiners are kind, plus, they are trained to lead a comfortable discussion. No need to be afraid of stumbling upon a mad examiner, as there are none☺️
Hello

Tanjina afrin may i know you !
She was good at the answers. I thought she'd get a score of 8. Thank you
Some mistakes which are explained in the feedback part stopped her to get a higher band score
i never sceen before like a teacher.... Really he is best teacher ever... In my perception.. Best off luck sir.. Love you always... From Bangladesh
Thanks
I just had two days preparation before the test and I had overall: 6 and 7 in speaking...can’t believe my eyes
Thank you for your service, God blessing
Our pleasure!
She is a very good speaker and very fluent; she definitely deserves 8 or more, but her answer in Part 2 seems like it was memorized as she
went off topic.
I got 7 in speaking. Honestly speaking, i had a poor education background. But I was natural and confident in my speaking.
Same apply to me, tried the first time and I got 6, second time 7 and going for the third time but whenever I think of IELTS speaking, I freeze 😢.

Hello! Great video and useful feedback to prepare for the speaking test. Thanks to your previous videos I scored 7.0 in my ielts speaking too☺️

hi.how are you? i need help to improve my english. Can you help me
She used "actually and "in order to" in every single sentence 😅 it was good enough for 7 👌
And "I would rather" :)
Its like when we use (like) in every single sentence
allocate too
But we have got benefit from her video ..
This lady is good. She deserved a band 9

In my opinion. If she did not repeat some words, she could reach much higher score than band 7. She speaks very fluently without stopping. Therefore there was one problem - vocabulary. And this part of speaking test decreased her score to 7
Thanks for sharing your opinion
Well, as the examiner said, and I totally agree with him, vocabulary was wonderful, she didn't have any problems with that. The band 7 was due to some mispronunciations and some grammar mistakes. Almost everything that decreased her score was related to her speed when speaking. There's no need to rush, it can disturb our fluency.
But I don't underestimate the importance of what you've said, "Actually..." was an overused adverb and it was even misplaced sometimes.
The awesome examiner
Need to avoid to use “actually, well” for part 1. I have seen this from my experience that if you use those words for beginning all of the sentences then you will lose your band score.

She did great
Because her topic was not easy at all
Hello. Great video. Is it necessary to use a lot of variations in grammatical concepts or are simple yet effective sentences sufficient? Same question about idiomatic language because I'm not the kind of person who uses many phrases in their day-to-day conversations. Would that negatively affect my score?
To get 7 in grammar you MUST use complex structures and avoid simple structures and by saying this doesn't mean that you should use very complicated structures. To learn how to make complex structures watch this vides:
ruclips.net/video/GaKEfHWf4_0/видео.html
Concerning idiomatic language, you should use them properly and naturally. In case you just memorize some and make yourself using them, then you will lose points
@@RossIELTSAcademy thank you so much for your prompt reply. I've been following this channel for quite a while and it has helped me a lot.
Is it correct to say "Can I see your ID...?" Because can means you are question your abilities to see. Or"May I see " would be more appropriate to use? 🙏
I watched this video and went for IELTS on 18 Feb.
I needed at least a total band of 7. But my grades are as follows: speaking 7.5, listening 8, reading 5 and writing is 5.5. I was totally lost when I received the results. Writing is 5.5 it is totally unfear. I am sure I used complex words and grammar structures, but I think the reason is that I intentionally didn't write it the way IELTS needs.
If I want to complain on the score I will need to pay 100 USD, and if the score changes then I will be reimbursed. But instead I can pay another 100 and retake the test. All in all it is a good testing system but it has some unexplainable and unjustified elements of evaluation of one's real language abilities. I don't know what to do in this situation. I am really angry at it.
I see what happened with your writing. We have a lot of candidates who got the same results. Great knowledge of English but they struggle with their writing.
You can join our writing courses to make sure you're good to go.

I think she deserves more than 7
one of her mistake was ' we are dont allow to go out ...' we are not allowed to go ....
What a lovely examiner, so kind and generous:) the lady was not as prepared as being scored 7, in my opinion
It's so nice of you. All the best
Hi there, I think when your candidate told about her story she should was used from past verbs but several times she was used present verbs for example at the minutes 6:19 & 6: 28 she said don`t have in order ... in case she should say I didn`t have in order ... and then she said we go to Germane ... in fact, she should saids we went to Germane that you have forgotten to explain about these mistakes.
Excellent.
I like your videos👍

She deserved more than the score is given 7! Unfair
First time heard questions about evening 😮
Nice👍
I think "I would rather to" is grammatically wrong and she used it so many times...but she didn't get a bad score ....
So I think the point is that talking is more important in these kinds of tests rather than being accurate...
What a nice teacher
So nice of you

What should I say when I have never witnessed the topic asked in section 2? Eg : Describing a historical monument that you visited.. There isn't any monument I remember visiting which had any historical connection.
In such cases, can we ask the examiner to give as a different card ?
So many people have the same wrong idea. IELTS doesn't want to test your general information or doesn't want you to be able to answer all questions.
What IELTS attempts is to test how would you react in a situation that you don't know the answer in an English speaking country.
Imagine yourself when someone asks you a question in your language and you don't know the answer. How would you react? Simply, you explain that you don't know the answer and you give reasons for that.
Same happens with IELTS
Where is examiner from?
nice, but I could not understand why you use "in order to" thousands of times.
Hi,Samson. Would you be so kind please to clarify for me what was wrong with the pronunciation of “visit”? it is in about 17:27. I played it back 5 times but still can’t hear the difference between the correct “visit” and the incorrect one. It makes me scary cose I am Russian,we have totally different phonetic in our language, this is why quite often I can’t really copy of native pronunciation,I can’t hear the difference how the same latter may sound in different words. But the word visit is such an easy and short word, which surprised me a lot I can really understand how to pronounce it correctly?
Thank you in advance
Dear Svetlana, the problem was that the candidate pronounced the V as W. Visit is the correct but her pronunciation was like (We-sit)
@@RossIELTSAcademy thanks fro your reply
I think it’s not just about testing English ability. When I was asked about questions I am totally not interested, all I could do was lie…
So many people have the same wrong idea. IELTS doesn't want to test your general information or doesn't want you to be able to answer all questions.
What IELTS attempts is to test how would you react in a situation that you don't know the answer in an English speaking country.

@@RossIELTSAcademy Really appreciate for you advice! I didn’t even know that I could just give response that way.
If I say I don’t know the answer and explain, will the examiner change to another question? Will it affect my score?
