As an Atheist in a relationship with a full-time Catholic boyfriend, all these Fr. Mike's videos gives me so much insight into the Catholicism.
I really want to learn and understand why for my boyfriend church and God himself is a very important part in his life.
Religion is so new to me and I still don't get many things, so I am very grateful of how easy Fr. Mike explains Catholicism. Thank you! :)
Update: 5 months later I became a Catholic myself! :)

I know this will seem like a strange suggestion, but Jordan Petersons biblical lectures absolutely made me at least open the door to being able to believe. I only say it's strange because he is not a religious leader and never asserts that the bible is a historical fact. I went to Catholic school, was baptized, etc. I never once felt like I could believe it. And I think there are two reasons. The over simplification from actual churches, especially the evangelists and the over science-ification in society. Jordan is a little hard to fallow if you have never heard any of his stuff, but it's on RUclips. Catholicism seems to be the closest to actually converging with Jordan opened my mind to. The bible is quite literally a map to the fabric of reality and consciousness. The bible is also so so so coded. So when people take it literally, they are doing a disservice. Sorry that was so long. But JPB analyzing the bible in a literary fashion has brought tens of thousands of people to actually attempt to read and understand the bible. Or at least say.. what would happen if I tried.

In all respect, I think that the Catholic church is false. In Catechism 1257, it says that baptism is necessary for salvation. Yet, Paul writes, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.13)." Which is it? Will a person be saved by calling on the Name of the Lord or do they need to be baptized?
Moreover, the Catholics I have conversed with have been extremely dishonest. That is, they will quote Bible verses that, supposedly, 'prove' that baptism is necessary for salvation, yet, even if they are right, they contradict Romans 10.13. One Catholic was at least honest enough to say, "No, it is not true that whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." She was heretical, but honest!
Remember the words of Paul, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed." I hope that you will have a personal encounter with Christ - just by asking! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9‬
‬‬“Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭4:4-5‬
‬‬“yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.”
      ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2:16, 21‬ ‭‬‬
“I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

Think about that for a moment.

I was Muslim and I joined Christianity. I found it difficult to adjust to Protestant Christianity because Islam preaches Holiness and the protestant churches were lacking in that aspect and when I joined Catholicism I was so happy because Catholics really treat the Trinity as Holy and worship God with Holiness and seriousness and not Lukewarmness. Its important to worship God as Holy because Jesus in the second coming comes back for a Holy people. We need to be Holy like our Father in Heaven is Holy! I love being catholic now.

And unlike pastors they dedicate their full life to it just like apostles did. I have a question for you though. The nature of the Holy Trinity was interpreted to Christians through Catholic bishops during the council of Nicea, and before it hapenned christians were actually confused who Jesus was and there was a lot of debate. So do you believe in Holy Trinity? If you do, why would God choose to reveal his nature through Catholic church if this church is wrong?

What should we call ourselves? One need only be Natsarim, and neither a Catholic (Latin, "universal") nor a Christianos (Greek word for the modern word cretin). Yahusha said, "I am the Vine, you are the Natsarim" (Yn. 15:5). Paul was accused of being a "ringleader of the sect of the Natsarim" (Acts 24:5). The Natsarim cry-out on the hills of Afraim in the last days (YirmeYahu 31:6), not the Christians or Catholics.
One needs no other authority to lead them but the living Yahusha in them, Who guides us into all Truth in obedience to His Word. Google the words Yahusha, and Natsarim. Yahusha and His first Natsarim were neither Catholic, nor Christianos. Their orders were not received from men, but directly from Yahusha, Who breathed on them to understand the Writings of Truth. Men invented the sacraments many centuries after the first Natsarim, and those who set up the Magisterium called us heretics for not recognizing their authority. They chased us into the valleys (labeling us Waldenses), and we were labeled Huguenots in the Jesuit Oath. The dragon is enraged at the offspring of the woman, and makes war against those who obey the Commandments of Alahim, and hold to the testimony of Yahusha (Rev. 12:17).

UH-OH, are you thinking that you're saved because Jesus died on the Cross? ? ? ?
Jesus paid our sin debt in full on Calvary, BUT that did not impute His Righteousness to us OR save us OR forgive our sins.
To be saved and sealed AND have all your sins forgiven, and to receive the Righteousness of God (be justified) one must TRUST the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary, by "believing" 1 Cor 15:1-4 KJB, the gospel of the grace of God, the only gospel that saves anyone today, in our present "dispensation of the Grace of God".
      Please consider reading:
      Rom 3:20-28 KJB

@@Jacqueline4671 From what you wrote, I think we are in agreement. The key word is 'believing.' It is different that what our culture teaches, but it is a faith based on a personal encounter with Christ. In the same way, it is written, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Similar to the word 'believe,' the word 'Name' has a deep meaning. It means that we are to pray according to the will and promises of God. That said, if someone genuinely calls upon the Name of the Lord, that person will be filled with the Holy Spirit, born again, receiving, instantly, life eternal in Christ.
I was raised by an atheist and heard the gospel for the first time at the age of 17. Shortly after, I prayed my first prayer, "Is there Jesus? I would like to meet Him!" I instantly met the Lord. All heaven filled my soul and it felt like my heart was made out of gold. I walked away, thinking, "That was heaven, but I am on earth. What is heaven doing on earth?" I was eternally saved the moment I called upon the Name of the Lord. In 46 years now, I have not had even one second of doubt for my salvation. That is because I am in constant, unbroken fellowship with God. Jesus said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him." Ask and you shall receive! Cursed be anyone who perverts the pure simplicity of the gospel.
Salvation is simply a meeting with God. As it is written, "This is eternal life, that you know God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." Do you know Christ or do you know about Him? Will He know you as His friend when He sees you or will He say, "Depart from me; I never knew you"? Christ died on a Cross so that we may know Him. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

God does not say that we MUST do something specific to be saved with nothing but empty words of faith. No! His words are true because He is the Truth, and we can't omit His words when they specify the Way (like in John 6: "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed."). You can't deny that and claim to be a real believer ("Blahh, I think I don't need that, thank you, Jesus!").
We have to be faithfull, seek and love Him to, after that, OBEY and follow Him, instead of just believe. He who does not believe will not be saved because only who believes with all his heart will obey the commandments of Jesus Christ. There's no one that obeys withouth a precedent faith, that's why faith is necessary to be saved, though it's only the first step to salvation: eat His flesh and drink His blood it's not an option (the word "indeed" proves that His sayings was no metaphor or parable).
      Read John 6 entirely.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". There is only one name that saves. It's Jesus'. Not Mary, not Peter or any other saint. The scripture is very clear on this. The Old Testament shows how we are fallen, sinful, in need of Savior. The New Testament clearly shows Jesus is the long awaited Messiah and only One who is worthy & able to to take away our sins if we repent and believe on his name alone. Matthew 7:14 small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life and only a few find it. ... That is because we want to find our own paths to God and reject his Son, Jesus, who said *He* was the way, the truth, the life that we must believe in to get to God and to eternal life in heaven. God provided Jesus as a sacrifice to cover our sins if we repent & believe in Jesus' name. So that is where division comes in. Because people want to accept the idea that many roads lead to Heaven & to God. It sounds good, loving, inclusive in our modern day culture to accept everyone's version. But in the end we better pray for wisdom to clearly understand and obey what God says in scripture. Because He will have the final say in the end at the final judgement. Accept Jesus, his Son, repent, believe, obey... Jesus is what unites true believers. He is the centerpiece of the hearts and lives of true believers. There is power in the name of Jesus to unite believers and to call sinners to repentance.

"it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life" (John 6:63-64). So, if "the flesh is of no avail," why would we have to eat Jesus' flesh in order to have eternal life? It does not make sense, until Jesus tells us that the words He speaks are "spirit." Jesus is saying that this is not a literal teaching, but a spiritual one. The language ties in perfectly w wgat oaul said “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship" (Romans 12:1).
Hebrews 7:27 says “Unlike the other high priests, He (Jesus) does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins ONCE for all when He offered Himself."
1 Peter 3:18, "For Christ died for sins ONCE for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God..." Christ's once-for-all death on the cross was sufficient to atone for all of our sins (1 John 2:2).
Therefore, Christ's sacrifice does not need to be re-offered. Instead, Christ's sacrifice is to be received by faith (John 1:12; 3:16). Eating Christ's flesh and drinking His blood are symbols of fully receiving His sacrifice on our behalf, by grace through faith. In addition to praying to the dead, the graven images & Christ still hanging on the cross on most churches, a characteristic of demons would not be something He instructs of His followers.
Put your faith in Gods Word alone, not these man who manipulate the gospel. Mat 7:21-23 warns every religion that’s based off works.

Read The Bible and you will know the many many flaws in catholicism. We do not need to confess to a priest to be forgiven, but to God. We do not pray to or through anyone- when Jesus rose from the dead the veil between man and God was torn. It says to call no man father (likely meaning church leaders) and catholics call the priest father. It says nothing about a priest not being allowed to marry- it actually says that doctrines of demons will say to not be given in marriage and abstain from certain foods (catholicm and islam), it says nothing about the pope, and the church founded by peter was not catholicism but the church of the apostles- catholicism began when the romans realized they could not stop christianity so they adopted it and made it their own by adding their pagan practices. If mary was to be so revered and praised and idolized- then it would say it. Jesus says no one born of a woman was as great as John the Baptist- mary was not as great as him- and neither or them should be idolized.
Under the vatican is a painting of lucifer and there are idols all around (likely ancient romans idols). If catholicism was the “one true church” then it would never have this- it would be destroyed immediately. Remember that ezekiel had a vision where he looked inside the temple and saw wicked abominations and leaders worshipped idols. Follow Jesus Christ, not the catholic church. Do not join denominations.

Thank you Father Mike. I love your videos because you do a wonderful job of helping me understand the Catholic Church. I moved from a Baptist church to the Catholic Church about 8 years ago. I am now 62 years old. I attended RCIA and my wife and I was married in the church even thought we have been married 37 years. She is a cradle Catholic. To make a long story short, we were happy with the church we were attending but then one day, while driving I heard a strong voice tell me, “Go to the Catholic Church.” I was shaken by this and went home and told my wife and brother. They asked me what I was going to do. I said it was probably my imagination and I then ignored it. Well about 2 months later the exact same thing happened only with more authority. Well, there was no ignoring it this time. My wife was excited to return to the Catholic Church and told me about the church and RCIA. The next Sunday we went to a Catholic Church nearby. When we got to the church a man was greeted people so I explained I was new and I asked him about RCIA. He said that the next session started Thursday and he also plans to attend as a helper in the class. Well he ended up being my sponsor in RCIA and his wife and him stood up with my wife and I when we were married in the church. We later encouraged me to join the KofC. I am telling you all this to show how God planned it all out and we are now in the original Christian church. I now keep watch for when God puts other opportunities and changes in front of me. Once again thank you. 🙏🏻

Hi Jeff. I appreciate that the Catholic faith is important to you. However, I hope you will accept, in genuine Christian love, this correction from the Word of God. For example, we agree on the importance of baptism, but if you say that baptism is necessary for salvation, you will pollute the message of Christ. Remember, the Apostle Paul wrote that if someone preaches a different gospel, they should be accursed.
This is so serious. I hope that you consider the words of the Apostle Paul, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Can it get any simpler? If you call, you will be saved. The gospel of Christ is the same gospel, "Ask and you shall receive." It is not, "...ask and be baptized" Jesus also said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him." Hence, by asking, you can receive the Holy Spirit, be baptized in the Holy Spirit, be born again, with the Holy Spirit bearing witness that you are saved (Romans 8.16). Jesus said, "This is eternal life, that you know God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." So, knowing God is eternal life and you meet Him by asking! Jesus Christ is the light of the world

Ken your are miss understanding the gospel on baptism as well as the Catholic Church’s teaching on baptism. If your idea is true than, why have baptism at all. The Truth is that baptism is required for any soul to be saved. However as the Church teaches there is baptism of water, desire, and blood. All who are in heaven have been baptized by one of these three.
Mark 16:16 He who believes “and” is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

I have studied the teachings of the Catholics and I am starting to realize that I believe everything I've come across so far. And it appears from everything that I've seen, catholicism is correct in their teachings. I just dont know if I'm ready to commit to either one of them yet. You are saved by 1 Cor 15: 1-4,. Romans 10:9 says basically the same. There are more than 100 verses in the KJV that state that salvation is by faith alone. Paul taught "faith alone".
Please do not listen to these cults like the catholic church. Paul warned over and over that false teachers would pervert the Gospel.
We gain our entry into heaven by believing in 1 Cor 15: 1-4. Then after we are saved, the Holy Spirit moves and guides us to His pleasure and will.
Yes, we should do good works, we should be baptized, have communion. Jesus expects us to. We are created in Christ to do good works, but works are detached from our salvation.
Roman's 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness".
Do not trust any church that perverts the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Do not trust any church that tells you that there is something else you must do to "prop up the cross". Read Ephesians 2: 8,9.

When I was incarcerated I saw people laugh at and take advantage of the pastors who passed out free bibles. Every time a new pastor came you would have someone who would be saved every time. You had people who would be saved every time and take it as a joke. I love the fact that with catholicism, you are normally required to practice what you preach to even be allowed to be a member of the church. I can understand the dislike of rules and acceptance of everybody because I grew up methodist, and Jesus preaches acceptance, but I have seen quite a few times where people who were saved and accepted Jesus seemed artificial and less true. And seeing this angered me. Your life should have structure. A lot of Christians today live loosely and do not practice what they preach. I know we are all human, but sometimes it just gets ridiculous and this is why I strayed away from Christianity and became agnostic. They were hypocrites. Now, I'm looking into catholicism because the structure and the rules, and actually living your everyday life like what you read in the Bible is seen more in catholicism. A lot of people believe in Jesus, but do nothing to practice what he preached and did. They think simply believing in him is enough. Part of believing in him is putting in the work and doing your daily duty as a Christian soldier. And a lot of people do not do this. God is a cheat code for the afterlife for a lot of people and they sin and do terrible things and then later do them again because they think they are saved and will be forgiven. This is no way to worship in my opinion.

@Chris Tian - You have wonderful insights & articulate them so well. I am so appreciative of the fact that you are willing to learn about the true teachings of the Catholic Faith in order to make your decision, & do not allow yourself to be swayed by the false witness so often given by those who pretend to speak with authority about what Catholics believe, when they actually know pretty much NOTHING of the teachings of the Catholic Church. (Bearing false witness is a crime against God, but there is much of it posted about the Catholic Faith in this comment section, from people who SAY they follow Christ's teachings.)
Christ indeed came to save us & He offers us salvation, but He will not force us to accept that salvation... it is within our free will to accept or reject what He offers. When we SAY THE WORDS, "I accept", but by our actions spit in our Lord's face, with disobedience & unrelenting pursuit of worldliness (making false gods of anything that makes us feel good), our Lord hears us say, "I reject you & the salvation you offer"... He is not naive... He can read between the lines.
If we truly accept our Lord & the salvation He offers, we enter into relationship with Him, & we use His teachings & the guides He left for us, to become humble & obedient; we take on the work of trying to get better at doing His will.
You are right that the Catholic Church has lots of rules & structure... it is one our Lord's great gifts to us... to help us grow in relationship with Him... to help us give Him what He most wants from us, our obedience. Our obedience is how we prove to Him that we love Him, & an excellent way to make it clear that we truly do accept the salvation He offers.
God bless you, Chris Tian! The Catholic Faith is incredibly deeply meaningful & full of spiritual richness... the more you learn about the true teachings of the Faith, the more in awe I expect you will become!
I recommend studying The Holy Mass to come to understand the meaning behind every aspect of The Mass, to allow yourself to experience the fullness of the gift it is. (I used to have a great podcast on my phone for this & would love to share the link with you, but my phone died recently & I have no access to it right now!) The Real Presence of our Lord, Jesus in The Holy Eucharist is an incredible Gift... I cannot fathom anyone knowing of this & yet denying themselves the opportunity to receive our Lord in this precious Sacrament!
I also recommend learning about The Divine Mercy (TDM), as well as praying The Divine Mercy Chaplet (TDMC) each day. To learn more, Father Chris Alar has a great RUclips video about St. Faustina & TDM, & Matt Maher has a beautiful version of TDMC in song on RUclips.

      @VeronicaMartinez- Год назад +6

The Roman Catholic Church uses the argument that Peter is the rock to which Jesus referred as evidence that it is the one true church. As we have seen, Peter’s being the rock is not the only valid interpretation of this verse. Even if Peter is the rock in Matthew 16:18, this is meaningless in giving the Roman Catholic Church any authority. Scripture nowhere records Peter being in Rome. Scripture nowhere describes Peter as being supreme over the other apostles. The New Testament does not describe Peter as being the “all authoritative leader” of the early Christian church. Peter was not the first pope, and Peter did not start the Roman Catholic Church. The origin of the Catholic Church is not in the teachings of Peter or any other apostle. If Peter truly was the founder of the Roman Catholic Church, it would be in full agreement with what Peter taught (Acts chapter 2, 1 Peter, 2 Peter).
In addition, the New Testament makes it abundantly clear that Christ is both the foundation (Acts 4:11, 12; 1 Corinthians 3:11) and the head (Ephesians 5:23) of the church. It is a mistake to think that here He is giving either of those roles to Peter
The origin of the Catholic Church is the tragic compromise of Christianity with the pagan religions that surrounded it. Instead of proclaiming the gospel and converting the pagans, the Catholic Church “Christianized” the pagan religions and “paganized” Christianity. By blurring the differences and erasing the distinctions, the Catholic Church made itself attractive to the idolatrous people of the Roman Empire. One result was the Catholic Church becoming the supreme religion in the Roman world for centuries. However, another result was the most dominant form of Christianity apostatizing from the true gospel of Jesus Christ and the true proclamation of God’s Word
Of course, the Roman Catholic Church denies the pagan origin of its beliefs and practices. The Catholic Church disguises its pagan beliefs under layers of complicated theology and church tradition. Recognizing that many of its beliefs and practices are utterly foreign to Scripture, the Catholic Church is forced to deny the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.
On the contrary. Even a cursory reading of the New Testament will reveal that the Catholic Church does not have its origin in the teachings of Jesus or His apostles. In the New Testament, there is no mention of the papacy, worship/adoration of Mary (or the immaculate conception of Mary, the perpetual virginity of Mary, the assumption of Mary, or Mary as co-redemptrix and mediatrix), petitioning saints in heaven for their prayers, apostolic succession, the ordinances of the church functioning as sacraments, infant baptism, confession of sin to a priest, purgatory, indulgences, or the equal authority of church tradition and Scripture. So, if the origin of the Catholic Church is not in the teachings of Jesus and His apostles, as recorded in the New Testament, what is the true origin of the Catholic Church?

@@jpercy4811 This person is misleading you. We know from the earliest Christian writers--the church fathers--that Peter and Paul founded the church in Rome. And Peter actually does tell us that he was in Rome, but he does so in code. In Peter's letters, he mentions that he's hiding "in Babylon." However, the ancient city of Babylon had been destroyed for centuries, and was almost 2,000 miles away from the Mediterranean where the Apostles began their work. As it turns out, the underground Christians in Rome, under the persecution of emperor Nero, referred to Rome as "Babylon" in their letters, as code. This is because Peter and the other early Christians didn't want to give away the locations of their friends, and Babylon was synonymous with "sinful city." The earliest Christians taught that Peter was crucified upside down by Roman authorities when he was caught, and that Paul was beheaded.
Irenaeus, a Greek bishop, wrote in 180 AD that Rome was the center of Christianity, "Because of its origin in Peter and Paul." (Against Heresies.)
A question I would pose to Protestant critics who insist that the Roman Catholic Church wasn't started by Peter (and Paul) in Rome, would be this: If it's not the Catholic Church, then which church is it? Where is this church that Jesus founded on Peter, that even Hades didn't prevail against? Where is it today? Was YOUR church founded by Peter?
Don't take my word for it, read the Church fathers. Ignatius of Antioch, Clement, Polycarp, Irenaeus, Justin Martyr, John Chyrsostom, etc. Ignatius of Antioch, disciple of the apostle John and the first bishop of Antioch appointed by Peter, wrote in 110 that he didn't do anything "Without the permission of the Roman pontiff."
Peter's disciple Linus was the second Pope, and while we don't have any of Linus's letters, he and Clement were mentioned by Paul as "his fellow workers in Christ" whose names "were written in the book of life." Clement became the fourth Pope, and we DO have Clement's epistles.
Jimmy Akins has a great book compiling together their writings called "Fathers Know Best."
While I can't tackle all of Veronica's gish-gallop, I can summarize a lot of her egregious errors. For example, confessing to a priest comes from James 5:16 where the early Christians are told to confess their sins to one another, and from Jesus Himself giving the apostles the authority to forgive sins, which they passed on to their successors, the bishops and priests. The book of Hebrews has five WHOLE chapters dedicated to explaining that Christ founded a priesthood, and that this priesthood would be ruled by Christ as the eternal High Priest from Heaven. (These are Hebrews chapters 5, 7, 9, 10, and 12).
The New Testament also does show Peter's central role, especially in Acts, where his name is always mentioned first, and he's the apostle that the New Testament spends the most time talking about--his life, his struggle, his faith in Jesus, his failings and his victories--and we see Peter taking charge in the first councils in Acts.
This is called "show, don't tell." The Bible doesn't TELL you "Peter is the leader of the apostles after Jesus's assumption into Heaven," rather it shows us his central role.
I can also tackle all of Vicrtoria's BS in more detail if you'd like, but I think that's enough for one comment.

The reason I say this is because I've seen many protestants here on RUclips quoting them verbatim.

Thank you for the long detailed reply. You sound like an informed man on the matter. My name is Robert De Los Santos btw.
Concerning your critisms of The Catholic Church when you were still protestant, I can say that I was taught to criticize Catholics in my Sunday school class. I remember the teacher telling us the Catholics didn't know who Jesus was (is), and that Catholics pray to a "dead Jesus" as signified by the Crucifix.
So when I would challenge Catholics on their views it was just mockery. But what is leading me away from Protestantism is all the disunity among their many churches. I went to a church in a small town that had about 12 churches there. There is another small town down the way called Kingsburg in California, that's in the Guinness book of World records for having the most churches for a small town. All these churches have one thing in common, they've abandoned the religion of Christianity and preach about having a "relationship" with Jesus. The thing is, who decides the terms of the relationship? It's certainly not Jesus, considering all the feminists, homosexuals, weak beta males, and youth on their cell phones during church service. Not to mention the loud rock n' roll music being played. It's more like it's a social gathering instead of a house of God. And this Jimmy Swaggart ministries, I could go on forever about them. Which reminds me of a book called, Jimmy Swaggart Made Me Catholic by Tim Staples who worked as a youth minister at their Bible camp. Have you heard of it?

*O People of the Book!* Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah and the fulfilment of His Word through Mary and a spirit created by a command from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, “Trinity.” Stop!-for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs. [Surah An-Nisa; 4:171]

Christianity doesn't say you need go to church to be saved. You need to pray and accept Jesus as lord and Savior and walk with him throughout your day. Going to church will not save you, it's a beautiful place to go, sing and pray but Catholics think by going to Church you'll be saved and that's its the only place where the Lord is. But when God speaks through the Bible, he offers eternal truth. The difference with Christians is Catholics believe by doing good works you will be saved but Christianity is living for Christ Jesus in everything we do in our daily lives we talk to God pray through the day and listen to his word and only his word and not just do good deals hoping to be saved and connect to him. He's says to study the word of God in 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. And in Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) he says Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. For Christians the word of God as it says in romans
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Scripture also tells us to not worship anyone other than God which is what's the Catholic church teaches from a young age to pray to Mary but Jesus says 1 Corinthians 10:19-20 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Christianity is harder than any other religion but honestly its not a religion is a relationship out Creator and Lord Jesus Christ because. Christians believe you will not obtain salvation, by Peter, Moses, Not by Works, Not by Mary, Not by attending church, not by a rosary, not by law, not by meditation, not by confession, not by water baptism, not by holy water, not by sabbath, not by inscens, nor by devotion to idols, because in 1 Timothy 2:5 it says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. There is no Hail Mary in her Bible because in Romans 3:23 Jesus says For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; There's a difference between Catholics and Christians and Christianity is not in a church it is Invisible and the Kingdom Of God lies in us who believe in him and call on his name and live by his word because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. John 4:4 (KJV)

I am a non denominational Christian. I have been trying to understand the catholic religion in this season of my life and some previous. I have some things i need to say about this video and the things that you are teaching.
Your point on circumsion not being talked about at around 3:20 in this video. You said "the bible never teaches about this" but here are 3 scriptures...
    ‭‭Romans 10:9-13 NIV‬‬
[9] If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. [11] As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” [12] For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, [13] for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
    ‭‭Luke 3:16 NIV‬‬
[16] John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
    ‭‭Galatians 5:6 NIV‬‬
[6] For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
So these scriptures all tell us what it means and what we must physically do to be saved. It has nothing to do with physically removing a body part, or being dunked under water. It's in the heart. And it has always been this way.
Saying the bible never teaches about this is wrong.
What's more, your point about the error of solo scriptura 3:30
    ‭‭2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV‬‬
[16] All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, [17] so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
    Also think about this.
    ‭‭John 1:1 NIV‬‬
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
    ‭‭Revelation 19:13 NIV‬‬
[13] He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
    ‭‭Hebrews 4:12 NIV‬‬
[12] For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
If you are actively and truly walking with God, if you sit and open your bible he will reveal EVERYTHING to you that you need. In Christ he speaks to you through his word and it is enough.
Also, solo scruptura does NOT mean that you don't need church and nobody that believes solo scriptura thinks that.
    ‭‭Hebrews 10:24-25
[24] And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, [25] not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
    Here is another one:
You said Christians believe that Jesus is God because the catholic church told me?
THAT is absolutely bogus. I believe that Jesus is God because the Bible says it. Not because of the "authority" of the catholic church.
I shouldn't need to put scriptures here for that...
The Church is the people of God. Not an institution specific to a tradition, it is the bride of Christ, which is a right not specifically belonging to catholics. The authority belongs to God alone and whomsoever he wishes to give it to. for you to say that no other branch of Christianity has authority is wrong.
I get upset every time I hear a catholic try to explain why they do what they do because they hardly use the Bible to explain it and when they do it isn't sound doctrine. It sounds like a fabrication and is contradictory to what the bible says.

Epistle to Romans was written after the Council of Jerusalem. You might want to check the timeline of the council and when different parts of the New Testament were written to see that the Church worked and taught before the Scripture was compiled (which was done by the Catholic Church, too).
A lot of verses you provide refer to Jesus Christ Himself, not the written word (books of the New Testament). And the "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful " quote does not mean that only Scripture is useful. It's like a one-direction implication in logic.

The thing I could never reconcile was that in all Protestant religions, the 1500 or so years after the crucifixion and before the reformations are completely forgotten about or ignored. The church started with St. Peter so why ignore that? Not to mention that many of my questions were answered when going through RCIA. I took the classes not particularly intending to convert but not ruling it out. God is Almighty and he loves you. He will never forsake or abandon you. Pray and dominate your mind with Jesus Christ. He will get you out of your troubles. Occupational Therapy is a great profession, and if it is God’s will for you he will help you through it. Seek God and focus on him, and he will sustain you. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength (Phillipians 4:13). Also, whenever you feel anxious or depress, remind yourself scriptures in the Bible so that your heart and mind will be strong and guarded by Jesus Christ. Do not be anxious about anything but in everything with prayers and supplications with thanksgiving make your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things-practice these things and the God of peace will be with you. As a Protestant exploring Catholocism: I realized one day a few months ago that while sola Scriptura sounds like a great idea, it's pretty much impossible and certainly isn't what Protestants practice. If we truly were practicing sola Scriptura, we wouldn't have denominations. What we practice is Scripture plus interpretation. Each denomination believes that THEY are correctly interpreting Scripture and that only they have the right interpretation, and rarely does everyone in that denomination agree on each point of interpretation. If I don't like the way my church teaches, don't agree with their interpretation, I can easily find another church. Theoretically, I can even start another church based on my interpretation of Scripture. This has brought about incredible disunity within the Body. As I'm exploring Catholicism, I'm finding so much of it refreshing.

    • @jme1mm
      @jme1mm 4 года назад +3

cant the same be said of the catholic church? aren't they also interpreting?

    • @alyce-kayruckelshaus1224
      @alyce-kayruckelshaus1224 4 года назад +4

@jme1mm Good question. (Okay, remember that I’m not an expert on Catholicism by any means, but here’s my understanding. Someone correct me if I’m wrong ... please. I just started studying Catholicism a year ago; so I want to be clear that I'm engaging in discussion, NOT teaching. And at this point, though I'm almost certain I'll convert, I'm still Protestant.) Yes, Catholics also use interpretation. In fact, that’s kind of the point. Catholics don’t deny that. Protestants say Sola Scriptura, scripture alone. Catholics don’t claim Sola Scriptura; they claim Scripture plus tradition. By tradition, they don’t mean “We blindly do it this way, because it’s always been done this way.” Tradition in this case means that they look to the early Church, especially the Church Fathers (the disciples of the Apostles and other very early Christians who established Church doctrine) to interpret Scripture -- looking to the people closest to the writers of Scripture to determine what the writers meant. Here’s the problem with Sola Scriptura, AS I SEE IT (again, I'm not an expert): 1) It gives a false sense of certainty that YOU have interpreted Scripture correctly … and everyone else has it wrong ... because you think that you're just "going by what the Bible says". 2) The result is thousands (probably millions) of different interpretations of Scripture … each denomination, church, and person thinking they have the correct interpretation and everyone else is wrong. Sometimes (often), this also results in a sense of superiority. 3) It creates disunity in the Body of Christ. Most denominations were created because of a disagreement in interpretation, and then there are further splits within denominations because of disagreements in interpretation. 4) It results in wrong interpretation -- i.e., they certainly can’t all be right. 5) The methods of interpretation often do not lead back to the original intent. When I first told a conservative protestant theologian friend that I was considering Catholicism, her very strong objection was that I would have to believe what the Catholic Church teaches and I could no longer believe according to my own conscience. Seriously, I’d never thought of it that way, and it chilled me. What she said reminded me immediately of Judges 21:25: “all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes.” This wasn’t a good thing. Stop and think about it: That’s what we Protestants do. Even if we try to very carefully interpret Scripture, it boils down to what’s right in our own eyes. Even with that prayerful, well-intentioned and careful interpretation, there will be others who are equally prayerful, well-intentioned and careful who come up with something different. We can’t both be right.

The difference is, as I understand it, that the leadership of the Catholic Church say they can introduce something that is not even found written in the Bible and say that what they have to say about it is just as authoritative as what is written in the Bible.
Protestants usually only have differences of interpretation of what is already found in the Bible - they wont come up with something entirely new and give it the same level of truth as what is written in the Bible.

There's also the fact that sola scriptura in itself is unbiblical and therefore should be rejected by Protestants, because nowhere in the Bible says that you should only consider the Bible, in fact the early Christians didn't have any Bible because it wasn't compiled yet, and Jesus didn't write anything neither he dictated any book, which it seems only sensible to do if he wanted us to follow books. Also Paul in 2 Thessalonians tells the congregation to hold the traditions they have been taught either by letter or word, so we can see that from the very beginning the teachings were important.

Hi. I hope you will accept, in genuine Christian love, this correction from the Word of God. For example, based on the Bible, I agree with Catholics agree that baptism is important, but if you say that baptism is necessary for salvation, you will pollute the message of Christ. Remember, the Apostle Paul wrote that if someone preaches a different gospel, they should be accursed.
I hope that you consider the words of the Apostle Paul, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Can it get any simpler? If you call, you will be saved. The gospel of Christ is the same gospel, "Ask and you shall receive." It is not, "...ask and be baptized" to be saved. Jesus also said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him." Hence, by asking, you can receive the Holy Spirit, be baptized in the Holy Spirit, be born again, with the Holy Spirit bearing witness that you are saved (Romans 8.16). Jesus said, "This is eternal life, that you know God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." So, knowing God is eternal life and you meet Him by asking! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Unpopular opinion: there is no such thing as a Catholic Christian. As a Catholic you are discouraged from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You always need a middle man. For prayer through Mary to understanding the Word through priests. That is not what the bible says. That right there is idolatry.
Mary was not sinless. She was just another human born with sin. Jesus is the only sinless human to be born which is why he is the perfect lamb of God. Stop putting her on a pedestal and making her a goddess or queen of heaven. There is no such thing.

Go to no man or religion go to the Holy Spirit he’ll teach you in John 14:26 Jesus never started a religion he says to “Take up your cross and follow me” in Matthew 16:24 he never says follow Peter or Mary follow Jesus only, no man. Jesus says no man is good. He says also call no man father in Matthew 23:9. So why call the pope father? You just disobeyed. Why do you pray to Mary she’s not God and can’t hear your prayers. John 14:13 “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the father may be glorified in the Son.” Why do you also confess to a man? He’s just a man 1 John 1-2:8-2 “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” That verse is saying basically you’re lying to yourself saying you’ve never sinned all have sinned and fallen short. Verse 9 “If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” This verse is saying if we confess to Him (Jesus) you can tell it’s Jesus because of the uppercase H. So if we confess to Jesus he will forgive us. Verse 10 “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His words is not in us.” So we’re basically making Jesus a liar if we say we’ve never sinned. Verse 1 chapter 2 of 1 John. “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” So here the verse is saying He write to us so we don’t sin and if we do Jesus is our bridge our advocate to repent and change. Not just say sorry and go back to sin no. Now in verse 2 “And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” Here the verse says Jesus is the atonement for our sins since he is sinless and God himself. Not just for us though for the whole world. The whole point is Jesus is the one we should confess to and give ourselves to him and follow Jesus. No man no nada only Jesus/God.

Only God can forgive sins, yes, that is true. But before one can be forgiven, one must confess. Like the good thief, who admitted he merited his punishment, he confessed to Christ, and Our Lord forgave him. Today, penance is a sacrament, a holy things, and the church can forgive sins through a priest as Christ states in the NT. Do I enjoy confessing my sins? Nope! Do I feel clean after confessions, YES! I feel great. One cannot say I am sorry and proceed to absolve oneself. that is one of the major errors of Protestantism and a cop-out from accepting penance for their sins and understanding how sin fractures our relationship with God and needs a sacrament to repair it. I know people who say 'I forgive myself' well no, it does not work like that. Then saying Christ died for our sins, well, yes, Our Lord did, but he never said one must not confess them. On the contrary, it was the practice for the early church to have confession, which today has been passed down to the apostolic church which traces its roots in Christ instituting his one, holy, catholic and apostolic church. It is spiritual pride and adding sin to sin, to deny the need to confess sins, especially mortal sin.

I appreciate your points in this video and for offering clarification. However, I respectfully disagree that the governance of the hierarchy of the church has anymore authority to decided the “grey” areas of scripture and doctrine than a single individual who is deeply devoted to the study of scripture, to prayer, and to God.
It seems that your point assume that later Christians would not have come to their own conclusion of the divinity and humanity of Jesus through scripture alone. In John 14:26 Jesus says, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” I’m not saying that God has not appointed certain leaders for certain positions in the church, but that is predicated on the fact that scripture, prayer, and the Holy Spirit is sufficient to teach you “all things.”
Thanks again for the video. If you happen to read this, I’d love to hear your thoughts on my comment.

More the reason I hope he sees the comment. Its not about if your a catholic or a protestant. catholic or a Christian do you love Jesus and are you seeking him for who he is or who you want him to be. I wonder why this archbishop doesnt call for Unity given the New Testament clearly demonstrates Members of the Body of Christ share a common bond with all other Christians, regardless of background, race, or ministry. “There should be no division in the body, but . . . its parts should have equal concern for each other” (1 Corinthians 12:25). *We simply believe there are some serious doctrinal problems with the Catholic Church that need to be addressed biblically. There is also the issue that the practices of many Catholics depart from the "official traditions" of the Roman Catholic Church. For example, the Roman Catholic Church does not "officially" teach Catholics to worship Mary, but rather to honor and revere her. However, through observation, it is abundantly clear that many Catholics do in fact worship Mary. This is the result of the Roman Catholic Church not doing a good job of teaching and explaining its doctrines. Many Catholics are completely ignorant of what Catholic doctrines and practices truly mean and signify. Some of our Catholic-related articles may be responding more to the unbiblical practices of some (or most) Catholics, and not necessarily the "official positions" of the Roman Catholic Church.
We strongly believe that the Bible is to be our guide for faith and practice. While we recognize the value of church traditions, we refuse to accept any tradition that is not clearly supported by the Word of God. Our "conflict" with Catholicism is in regards to the proper interpretation of the Bible.
We strongly believe that the Bible is to be our guide for faith and practice. While we recognize the value of church traditions, we refuse to accept any tradition that is not clearly supported by the Word of God. Our "conflict" with Catholicism is in regards to the proper interpretation of the Bible. If you read the Bible you would notice many things regarding any man made doctrine and how it differs from Gods word really to recognize we must first differentiate between denominations within the body of Christ and non-Christian cults and other religions. Presbyterians and Lutherans are examples of Christian denominations. Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses are examples of cults (groups claiming to be Christian but denying one or more of the essentials of the Christian faith). i hope you can get an idea of what i am saying. Even denominations get caught up in things that dont even line up scripturally. It happens thats why it is so important to read the Holy Bible, lean on Gods understanding and ask him for wisdom. Study the Word of God and be seasoned grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ and be humble. Not prideful or wise in our own eyes. I really believe God, his spirit and him in the flesh Jesus Christ Yeshua the only one worthy of all my praise and adoration. He is the only one who went to the cross for my sins. Which both people who call themselves catholics *rather than Christian although biblical universal name for followers of Jesus Christ) do agree on
its just when they go into things like catholics vs protestants why be a catholic and not a christian etc etc? We should care enough why and evaluate to find the truth... Just that kind of talk should raise questions? Are we not all Christians if we Whole heartily Rely on Jesus Biblically? Why do catholics think the Word of God is not enough to guide them in life. Why does the Holy Bible have to be labeled a protestant bible? catholics feel the need to make this all more complicated than it needs to be i am trying to say " isnt that concerning?"

    Brother in Christ! :)
I stopped on 0:37, and what catched my eyes was the phrase "that the church has the authority to teach us". Brother, honestly - this is the role and the authority of Jesus christ Himself. If He is a living Water, if He is the way the truth and the life, If He is who He claimed to be - then what may stop us from being taught directly from Him -through His Holy spirit? Thanks to our great God that He can pour out His spirit and fill heart with his presence for everyone who Has no will to continue this broken life without Him !!!!! Just seek him, and you will find, no matter what denomination you are part of (even if you are not in any of them😉🤗🤗) 💪 🙏

      Hi :)
brother, I don't see any contradiction between the work of the apostols and the work of holy spirit in each heart that is open to God. Don't you think the apostols would be happy to see us (ordinary people) getting closer to spirtual level as theirs? They tried all of those years to lead people to christ, so that we would know Him better and privetly (yes, by "Him" I mean Jesus).
The church is the believers, not the building that we have, not the name that we give to it, and not the leaders of it (they are part of it ).

Jesus talks to you through the Holy Spirit-conscience and King James-not through the church of the _Dark_ Ages and the Prince of _Darkness_ who invented it as a counterfeit form of Christianity, palming off satanic, Babylonian, pagan religion dressed up to masquerade as a Christian church. Why would you trust the authority of a church which teaches such blatant lies as Mary never lost her virginity when the Bible says quite the opposite? She lost her virginity after Jesus was born. Matthew 1:25. And Rome says that Mary was without sin but she herself rejoiced in her Saviour, and only a sinner needs one of those. Luke 1:47. (You're not saved from being immaculate.) Plus, she made a sin offering of two turtle doves, thereby acknowledging her guilt as a sinner like all the rest of us. Luke 2:21-24, Romans 3:23. If the Catholic "church" teaches you such obvious heresies, who knows what other lies they've been telling you under the guise of "Christianity"?

Catholics do not match the Bible. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:9 for example. The Bible strictly forbids witchcraft, idolatry and necromancy in Deuteronomy 18:9-12. The only exorcism in the Bible failed because they are not Christians. Acts 19:13

I went to a Lutheran church at 9am on Sunday (didn't take communion) and the service was very well done with a large audience and very warm and welcoming group.
I then went to my local catholic church at 10:30am to recieve communion as i am baptised catholic. It's the one I went to as a child and it used to be full. It has a huge capacity. On Sunday it was only about 1/5 full and the service was the same boring unengaging style that made me stop going to church as a child. No sermon, nothing relevant to life. Unfortunately in some towns you just have to

Before you diss anything, just know the guy who made this video went to college for probably 8 years and learned world history, philosophy, and theology....most people don't even know what theology is, but instantly *and unknowingly* try to discredit the theologians who were geniuses...like Thomas Aquinas, Augustin, Albert...so on.

We have done our homework.. You need to take your nose out of the catholic books of deceitful doctrine and get into the Word of God yourself. One of the reasons why catholics believe what they are taught is because they don't read and study and get with God on their own. When Jesus chose the 12 disciples, let me ask you. Which of them were scholars and Rabbis? How many of them had university degrees or even been to a proper school for that matter. You don't know because you don' t know the Bible. Where in the Bible does it say to go into a closet with another man who probably has more sins then you to confess your sins to. How do you know if that man isn't a child molester or a sexual pervert for that matter. Don't shut your ears and close your eyes to see what the catholic church is going thru right now. It should of happened years ago.

Leo Dancor Your interpretation is wrong. Jesus gave power to his disciples. And that text was a record of what Jesus was saying. Not necessarily saying all priests have that power. THEY DON'T. ONLY WAY FOR FORGIVENESS IS PRAYING DIRECTLY TO GOD AND ASKING FOR HIS FORGIVENESS. Not confessing to a sinful priest expecting forgiveness. YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE THAT SMALL TEXT AND SAY IT APPLIES ELSEWHERE

Brazilian Armed Forces The Holy Bible is God..Not Catholic.
The original Bible doesn't have added books. Catholic priests added man words to the words of God. Totally wrong. DO YOU EVEN KNOW THERE'S a WHITE POPE and a BLACK POPE? I bet you don't. Do you know that there's a DARK ROOM IN THE VATICAN? Yes. IT'S WHERE SATAN DWELLS. Do you know how the day of worship was changed from.Saturday Sabbath to sunday? Even Jesus who was crucified on Friday, had to have his body removed from the cross because Sabbath was already at noon,Friday noon. And he rested on Saturday because it's the Sabbath. Read Luke 23:53-56 & Mark 16:1-5 ,states clearly that the true day of worship starts from Friday sunset and ends on Saturday sunset. NOT SUNDAY. THINK YOU'RE READING THE WRONG HISTORY. Try READ THE BIBLE..WHY ELSE WOULD LUTHER AND OTHER PROTESTANTS BREAK OFF FROM THE CATHOLIC CHURCH? Obviously something is WRONG WITH THE CATHOLIC TEACHING AND APPLICATION.

Abigail Mills be cautious what you believe... if its right or wrong.. if its from God or from human only.
Personally, my view is better not to convert. Bible say challenge every spirit.. (1 john 4:1)
But i think you can still be an observer to them.. if you have friends within. You can still be friends & share knowledge.
For me i depart from RCC(catholic). Because of not biblical teaching i question them & the answer is not biblical base... not within the teachings of Jesus & apostles. My mother is catholic but choose God. God is more important & i love my mother & she loves me. But she is gone, but i think my mother will also leave catholic if she has the time.
God be with you sister.. fill free to ask. Hope i can help you.
There are many Christian church far better from RCC.
