Also the meat market is definitely not the commonest market/abuse that dogs in Korea are rescued from - like most other countries, puppy mills are a huge problem and in fact there's been a horrific one exposed recently by an animal rights group in Korea where they had over a thousand dogs, all malnourished and most injured due to horrendous living conditions. People should really stop assuming the whole "dogs are bred for meat, huh" about Asian countries when most dogs are actually bred to be sold as puppies, same as elsewhere.
@@daniellewoolley8607 I agree. I'm surprised so many dog lovers don't see that this dog has PTSD. They must not understand how dogs in the meat industry are treated. "Then I de-shed her for all of eternity" LOL LOL LOL! I just love your narratives and how so very kind you are to all your furry (and feathery) clients!
It's fun to watch and it's surprisingly fun to use too! I own one and my dog(who is NOT a fan of grooming, bless his heart) absolutely loves it too. Very satisfying!
To all those that claim you can't make matter from nothing, I present to you this dog. That fur is clearly being generated from another universe or something.
After de-shedding has been totally completed, there will be two Happys in our Universe. How, one might ask? GWTD: "She looks amazing." Fur Mound": "Yes, we do."
I remember my spring time trimming of my Chow chow. I would fill 4 or 5 large 50 gallon size garbage bags of hair. It was so dense on her that close to the skin it looked like a dart board and she produced enough lanolin that she was waterproof under the long outer coat. I would shave my medium size dog go down and wind up with a 26lb lion.
I have a Jindo mix and she does this twice a year. Absolutely zero shedding in between, but during shedding season it makes no sense how much fur comes out of her
Wow. Hey eyes tell a story. She is as independent as she is indignant, but there is a glimmer of the peace that she has after being rescued (3.01). Happy is stunning and I bet her human family are rather proud of her, I would be.
@@QUICKBOOKS1 Ha ha! Empirical evidence: A man said that he purchased a dog that he liked. The dog was nice, but didn't seem to do ANYTHING, any command , that the dog was requested to do. The owner was so puzzled, then he found out that the previous owner of the dog, ONLY spoke Spanish and had trained the dog in Spanish. So, as soon as went home ,and said to the dog the typical commands of Go, come and sit, etc... in Spanish, the dog IMMEDIATELY responded. FINALLY. the dog had ONLY heard Spanish being spoken. It's a REAL thing.
This dog deserves a lot of respect for it's patience considering all it has been thru with capture, transport & adaptation to a different language, type of people, way of living & then to experience a water/soap bath, deshedding & claw trim. Much respect to this dog. 😇🙏🐕🐕🦺
@michaelpichahchy2489 It's called learned helplessness, my dad used to do scientific research on that. They learn that they're never in control, so they eventually let everything happen to them without trying to prevent or escape it.
That is Husky levels of shedding, omg. Her story reminds me of an old family acquaintance we had when I was younger, I’ll call her T. T was born in a very poor part of Vietnam, where the dog meat trade was unfortunately practiced, but she also had a dog as a pet. One day her dog was stolen from their yard, in order to be used for the meat trade. Well later that night, T broke into the house where all the dogs were being kept, rescued her own dog, and set all the other ones loose. No idea what happened after that, since T and her family were able to immigrate to America shortly after that incident. But yeah, so glad that Happy is in a safe and loving home now.
I'd like to thank you for not putting obnoxious music in your videos. The calm in the background only serves to further enhance the watching experience and I'm grateful for it. Wish you and the dogs that are bestowed with the blessing of getting groomed by you, all the best.
Thrilled to see a Jindo on the channel Vanessa! I adopted my Jindo boy through FKD last year. He’s very true to his breed - calm, intelligent and loyal. Jindos usually have quite a high prey drive though. Mine has “caught” several rats on walks - esp in areas near transit hubs where people don’t discard trash properly. But he’s so calm and well-behaved in the house that people who come over point it out to me. My absolute fave trait is that he’s so QUIET (normal for a jindo) especially compared to my past dogs - many of whom were herding breeds. He’s just super chill… unless he’s thinks someone is trying to break in (delivery person knocking loudly). And I absolutely love walking him - despite the prey drive - bc he’s so well-behaved and ignores 99% of dogs that bark at him. He’s also great at the dog park, though he prefers sniffing or digging to playing with other dogs most of the time. Jindos are fiercely loyal but independent, so my boy isn’t fond of cuddles or kisses like other breeds. But tbh that suits my personality so we’re a good match lol… we like our own space but we’re besties! My Dad passed away a few months ago and he was amazing. If I didn’t get out of bed until the afternoon, he didn’t mind waiting to be walked or fed. He would lay near my bed and just wait. I finally understand the “heart dog” thing. He’s definitely mine 🥺 Very thankful FKD brought him into my life and for great work they do!
If they didn’t shed so much this would absolutely be the perfect dog for me! I want an intelligent dog that I can take on long nature walks and hikes, independent, well behaved, doesn’t bark a lot(because I work from home), protective and light shedding.
This is why I have never gotten a dog. They’re too needy. The description of your dog sounds like it might actually be a breed that would suit my cat personality. I wonder if it is just your dog that is more independent and less clingy or is it truly a characteristic of the breed?
@@yve5659 I agree with the shutting. I think it’s just something you would have to get into the habit of every single day when you take the dog outside bring the brush and give them a good brushing every day.
Her unenthusiastic face is the same one that my beloved does when she's denied her "rightful" share in my dinner. What a precious floof ❤ Glad to be able to support rescue of more dogs like her.
My last cat was named Happy. Born in 1984. Died 2004 March 13. Brother-in-law found her in Fairlawn, NJ. In 1987 we took her in. Greatest sweetest cat ever. A tortoise-shell calico.
Happy may not have displayed joy but she is a stoic beauty. Just horrible to think how her life may have ended had she not been rescued. Thanks to the Universe and the organization that made it happen. What a sweetie.
I was truly blessed to share my life with a Jindo some years ago. Unbelievably wonderful breed. Smart. Intuitive. Loyal. She had a profound prey drive so a leash was always important. Interestingly, she groomed herself much like a cat. And she had many other feline characteristics. Not a breed to bound into the room and knock over a lamp. She was kind of difficult to train but to be honest she just knew how to live with a person, so I never found that all that much needed to be trained.
I spent 15 minutes using an equigroomer on my dog and could have probably gone for another 15. that tool is unbelievable, thank you for enlightening me to it, it's a lifechanger, my dogs were not happy with the wire brush I had and I switched to gloves but that just made them want to play. with the equigroomer, they stand still and let me go to town.
Would you say it would be good to use on a short haired cat who sheds like there is no tomorrow. Her hair s everywhere and she hates to be combed. You just have to pet her and there is fur flying everywhere. The only thing putting me off buying one is the cost and what a waste the money would be if she didn't like it.
It really is amazing! I use it on my cats and my bunny. None of them liked being brushed before the Equigroomer, especially the bunny. But they actually seem to enjoy it, even the bunny who hates her back end being touched. I've gotten so much fluff out of her❤
@WellISaidIt my cat is exactly the same way and he loves the equigroomer. I can usually get about 10 minutes of brushing before he gets too playful/riled up but it works wonders.
@@WellISaidItI use it on my fluffy cats and my sleek short haired cat. It works on both. I got the small Equigroomer and it wasn't terribly expensive, but if for some reason your pet didn't tolerate it, you could donate it to a shelter and that might help you feel better about the cost. 🤞
What a beautiful well behaved dog!! I think she is one of the very best behaved I have seen you groom!! She deserves all of the good things in life, and it sounds like she has it now. What a great organization that rescues these dogs.♥
She has such a wise, thoughtful face. I think at some point during the groom, her fear made way for "Hey, this lady is really nice, and what she's doing feels REALLY good", lol. The amount of hair she lost was crazy, and her coat colors came out gorgeously after the groom!
So unbothered with the amount of brushing you were having to do 😂. Must feel really nice though ❤ Such a Beautiful Dog 💖 Seeing the true colour of her coat was everything 🤩✨✨🥰
What a beautiful, intelligent little face she has, and such wonderful manners for a first groom. 💖Good luck in your new life baby, I hope you live up to your name soon.😘
We, too, were able to adopt a Jindo mix from South Korea. I can't say enough about this wonderful breed. Although our Benji is a little bit more stubborn than Happy, he melts your heart. Thank you, Vanessa, for telling the story of Jindos and this amazing rescue!
She is Happy, just very Korean, reserved way :-) Jindos tend to laugh and ignore you if you show any weakness in character. Vanessa is indeed a dog magician! Also, Happy should be a new spokesdog for Equitgroomer. All that undercoat coming out was GOAT
:09 That look could melt the hardest heart. I am glad that Happy has found a real home. She looked so much better and actually happy after all of her groomer's dedicated work. What a precious pup.
Jindo is pronounced “jean-doe” and they are said to be able to house-break themselves (learn to pee outside the house) very quickly. They are not a popular breed to own in Korea, unfortunately, because many people consider them kind of like a mountain dog or a common stray. Koreans typically don’t eat dog meat - it was a necessity of war/hardship but it is still available. Korean history is filled with poverty and strife, and because of that, not many people had pets until recently. Dogs are still feared by a lot of people - especially older people - and are not often properly trained. Many dogs are tied up their whole lives and not seen as “part of the family”. Recently, there has been an increase in dog ownership but most people in Korea live in apartments. If dogs are not properly socialized and trained, they can be aggressive and owners don’t know how to care for them, so they abandon them at shelters often. Puppy mills and pet shops are very common here, and not many people want mutts or mixed breeds. South Korea doesn’t have animal rights/protection laws, so organizations like KARA often have to take matters into their own hands and rescue dogs from large breeders/farms. TNR does sort of exist, but there are way too many stray cats and dogs. I rescued my cat from a shelter and cats face harsh conditions a lot of the times, too. We have a lot of stray cats that don’t get vaccinated/neutered/spayed, and cats are feared more than dogs in some cases. They are seen as thieves around large open-air markets, which are really common here in Korea (where they sell fish and chicken, etc.). Pets are becoming more beloved, but there is still a long way to go. The former President Moon Jae-In adopted a rescue dog and promoted animal welfare. Most people want breeds like poodles (that don’t shed) and other small dogs like Pomeranian, Maltese, etc. and medium and large sized dogs aren’t as common. There aren’t as many dog-friendly places, either, but dog parks are becoming more popular. A few dog-bite incidents in the news have often sparked fear of dogs in people, so socialization is harder. Shiba (inu means dog in Japanese and is pronounced like ee-noo, so it’s fine to just say Shiba) are fairly common in Korea, too. But they aren’t scrutinized like the Jindo because they are seen as a little more “foreign” and expensive. Jindo are so common, people sometimes don’t regard them as a real breed here in Korea. I’m glad you finally had a Jindo on here and had the opportunity to inform people about the breed! But it would be nice if the “Korean people eat dogs” stereotype would die off. It’s a sensitive subject and there are many many dog-lovers here, and many people and organizations are working hard to stop the inhumane dog markets.
Thank you for your insight and for explaining the differences in culture and how it got to be the way it is. There's enough animal abuse and cruelty going on in 'western' countries, but people prefer to judge others instead of questioning the way they live their own lives.
Agree with most of what you said but Jindo is pronounced like it was said in the video jindo is spelled 진돗 not 잰돗, i have never heard it pronounced differently. Also the Jindo is considered a national treasure by the Korean government. I think the major reason larger dogs are not adopted is because most koreans live in apartments, its difficult to have larger dogs in this situation. As the poster above said, Korea has experienced a lot of change within 1 to 2 generations. My grandparents lived through colonization and a war that turned them into a 3rd world country and now their infrastructure is arguably better than America. There is an older generation that grew up in those tough times but the younger generations (probably millenial and onwards) that see dogs as companions and not food or a threat. When the last of the older generation passes on i think Korea will be completely changed. This thread should be pinned tbh, i dont like the impression the video gave.
@@Lost_Hwasal Oh I meant 진도 - the word jean in English is pronounced like 진 but she said it like GIN-do like the drink (with a short i). Yeah, I mostly agree with you! I live in Korea and am married to a Korean person whose family is very scared of animals because of the past stigma. I also have friends who own large dogs and live in an apartment. I’ve seen both the well-trained, well-loved apartment dogs as well as the dogs tied up in the country side. I’ve mostly seen jindo tied up living outside, whereas the small breeds like poodles and maltese are often only strolled around in their own strollers by their owners. A lot of the dogs at the shelters are also larger and mixed breeds. But many people who own dogs are hesitant to let people pet them for fear of someone getting bit and suing them, which causes them to not socialize their dogs properly, and then it causes even more issues. I am American and also consider Korea’s infrastructure to be way better than the states in a lot of ways. It’s still a pervasive thought that Korea is just some poor country, which is not the case anymore. Most Americans think of Korea and immediately think “Korean war” but the country has rapidly improved since the 1980s in so many ways. People think Japan is way more advanced, while Japanese people still use really antiquated things like fax machines and cash for most transactions, whereas Korea is far more advanced in actually implementing new technology. More people know about Korea than ever, but still don’t understand the complicated history it has.
@@Lost_Hwasal yeah you're pretty closer to the romanized pronounciation there. also american english can only get so close, i think vanessa nailed the pronunciation as close as what english can get before it's just her reading straight up hangul and I think that's pretty respectable that she attempted it pretty close also people treating dogs as part of the family in south korea is mostly popularized by the younger generation. it's a very "new" concept! 10-20 years ago, we would never imagine a dog being housed in a family's home, pushed around in baby prams, more concerns for healthier dog food, and going to the vets. south korea has drastically changed over the years and the social part of it has yet to catch up to it. sure, not a lot of people around my age would consider eating a dog, but a lot of people in the older generation i know would swear by it that dog meat is healthy/good for you. (which I believe is wrong because of the type of tonics and herbs that go into the soup is what gives the true benefits, but i digress) the organizations are trying to change the minds of the older generation and there's has been a lot of progress lately! but there's still a lot of ways to go. do all koreans eat dog meat? no. but are some of the elderly still clinging to the idea that we should keep our dog meat eating traditions despite the awful abuse aimed at these poor dogs? yeah. that's the change we still need to focus on.
So amazed that this came out on the same week I got my Jindo mix... also from Free Korean Dogs! They are a fantastic and trustworthy organisation and I'm so blessed to have found my Yeona through them. She has been pretty nervous with all the changes but in her safe space (my room), she is so sweetly affectionate, grooms herself like a cat, and is just happy to keep me company without demanding much in return. I love her already. ❤
Thank you for mentioning the rescue organization. Have been looking to adopt a dog since our beloved German shepherd passed away 7 months ago. Also, I love your channel!
Thank you for spotlighting the majestic Jindo!! My goodest boy Shadow was a cream blonde and white Jindo, just a great dog to have but they are INDEPENDENT and hard-headed in their ways. The shedding too…😂
What a lovely dog,and what an expressive face. We have a cat that sheds like that, and it really is a challenge to deal with .I think our boy is related to dogs because he’s the only cat I’ve ever met who adores tummy brushing and even rolls over with legs in the air indicating his wish to have his tummy toyed with .
Gorgeous girl! That look of stoicism on her face was magnificent! She was so well-behaved for her first groom, especially when having her nails clipped. I hope we see Happy again.❤❤❤❤❤
I am very happy to see 진도(Jindo) breed in this channel! They are awesome, very loyal, agile, and smart. Good for protecting properties, good with children when properly trained by owners. Their loyal nature make them very hard to be trained by others, though. They are not great with strangers. Happy is an indeed angel, to let you groom. Also, they are known as escape artists. You were prefectly equipped to prevent escaping. Otherwise, she would have jumped over the table and ran.
Oh my stars, watching that brush job was INSANE. I imagine Happy could FEEL the difference between where you have and haven’t brushed her! Is it crazy to say that I wish I were the dog in that situation?
No not crazy at all, I think that this always looks like a spa experience for dogs! I’ve definitely been envious lol. And my best friend loves other people brushing her hair and I usually do her hair when we hang out bc she loves it and finds it so relaxing.
Happy is so beautiful and majestic! Can't imagine what she's been through and so thankful for miracles for her and others. I had a pitsky named Amazing Grace. She had the coat of both her parents and she would shed that much on a daily basis. God bless the person who adopted Happy, they will forever be loved by her 👑🙏💞✝️🐾🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯
@spiltsoymilk Half pit and Half husky. They're a relatively new designer breed as in the last 10 years. They are awesome combination of both parents and they love to sing and are more intelligent than we are. They love to play practical jokes on their humans. My Amazing Grace died of cancer last March she was a week a way from being 8 years old. Extremely loyal and loving and will protect you. Amazing Grace was well over 100 pounds plus.
She has a gorgeous face, she is so intelligent, I love these animals so underrated who do their best to be understood, they unterstand our words while we aren’t able to understand their eyes.

I'm so thrilled to see a Jindo on your channel! I had a fantastic Jindo years ago and she was the best dog ever. They're such an interesting breed. Happy brought back many happy (lol) memories of my wonderful Kaiya, including that very thoughtful expression on their faces. Thanks for all you do!

We rescued her through Loyal Canadian Jindo 😊 thanks to your videos I knew right away to get an equigroomer from your site for her coat and even though I use it every few days I can relate to your arm fatigue 😅 our Jindo doesn’t like the bath and throws paws the whole time (she never growls or bites which is nice) so it’s nice to see one that was such a good girl for her bath and blow dry!

I was thinking that too! Kuma was the Akita?
Yes, Kuma’s the Akita with resting “disappointed dad at a parent-teacher evening” face, who is in love with blow dryer!
"Then I de-shed her for all of eternity" LOL LOL LOL! I just love your narratives and how so very kind you are to all your furry (and feathery) clients!
That was my favorite part too. 😂
I was genuinely shocked how that fur really don't stop coming and it don't stop coming
she groomed birds before?
@@LucyHeartfiliaasdfghj There's a video with a duck
I was so mesmerized by the equigroomer. So satisfying! She probably feels amazing after. That’s a whole other dog worth of hair.
It's fun to watch and it's surprisingly fun to use too! I own one and my dog(who is NOT a fan of grooming, bless his heart) absolutely loves it too. Very satisfying!
I got my sister one for Christmas. The cats were leaning it with full motor running. The dogs stretched out and chilled. And the hair that came out!
To all those that claim you can't make matter from nothing, I present to you this dog. That fur is clearly being generated from another universe or something.
After de-shedding has been totally completed, there will be two Happys in our Universe. How, one might ask?
GWTD: "She looks amazing."
Fur Mound": "Yes, we do."
@druidofscosglen2868 Happiness abounds!
never in my life i would have expected her to shed like this. her coat is magical, it summons fluff out of no where. 🐶🐶💘
It’s a narnia coat.
@@rachkate76 It sure is! 😂
My cat is the same way. He's a short hair, we brush him almost daily and he's *constantly* shedding piles of fur
@@Nightlark36 We have decided our manx's coat is the portal to the dimension of fluff. We could brush her everyday and there would still be more fur.
I have a Jindo mix and she does this twice a year. Absolutely zero shedding in between, but during shedding season it makes no sense how much fur comes out of her
She looks as if she is simply above it all. Should have been named Her Majesty
Indeed. I read her reactions as quiet indignation.

Wow. Hey eyes tell a story. She is as independent as she is indignant, but there is a glimmer of the peace that she has after being rescued (3.01). Happy is stunning and I bet her human family are rather proud of her, I would be.
She may not be happy, but she is a very well-mannered dog. Kudos to her owners for acclimating her well after adoption. Lovely pup.
After all she’s been through, not surprising that poor Happy isn’t the happiest of doggos. Glad they were able to rescue her!😔🥰🥰❤️
She probably doesn't understand English
Hopefully she finally gets to be happy now.
@@itoo3654 Do we understand "Dog"?
@@itoo3654She will pick it up with her new family in no time ❤
@@QUICKBOOKS1 Ha ha!
Well said. If only Happy could write a book chronicling everything she’s been through so far.
That's kind of what I was thinking...that her demeanor reflects trauma from having been through what she has. 😞
@michaelpichahchy2489 It's called learned helplessness, my dad used to do scientific research on that. They learn that they're never in control, so they eventually let everything happen to them without trying to prevent or escape it.
She does not shed, she “spreads” happiness in fluff shape thank you very much. 😌😂🤣
Although it is not too obvious, I can see a twinkle of happiness in her eyes in the end.
She was happy it was over😂
That is Husky levels of shedding, omg.
What a story! No doubt T conquered all! 👍🙏🐾
That's super fucked up man.
She is a hero
Whoever T is. She is a brave wonderful person. To get her own back and let the others go is truly epic. ❤❤❤
Stunning and so good…wow
I'd like to thank you for not putting obnoxious music in your videos. The calm in the background only serves to further enhance the watching experience and I'm grateful for it. Wish you and the dogs that are bestowed with the blessing of getting groomed by you, all the best.
A huge second here as well.
I'm with you both. 👍
I agree, I love the ASMR of all the grooming sounds in addition to her commentary so much more than any music she could put over it!
He’s definitely mine 🥺
Very thankful FKD brought him into my life and for great work they do!
If they didn’t shed so much this would absolutely be the perfect dog for me! I want an intelligent dog that I can take on long nature walks and hikes, independent, well behaved, doesn’t bark a lot(because I work from home), protective and light shedding.
What a loyal companion to have during your grieving. So patient, and patience is what's needed when someone is very low. A friend for sure. 🙂
I'm sorry about your dad, for whatever it counts.
As a Korean American and Dog Dad, please support this organization
Her unenthusiastic face is the same one that my beloved does when she's denied her "rightful" share in my dinner. What a precious floof ❤ Glad to be able to support rescue of more dogs like her.
I have never seen a dog that sheds that much. Your equigroomer certainly earned it's paycheck on Happy.

I have a samoyed, this is nothing! heh
My last cat was named Happy. Born in 1984. Died 2004 March 13. Brother-in-law found her in Fairlawn, NJ. In 1987 we took her in. Greatest sweetest cat ever. A tortoise-shell calico.
Sounds like you took took care of her, god bless you.
Wow twenty years young ❤
Happy may not have displayed joy but she is a stoic beauty. Just horrible to think how her life may have ended had she not been rescued. Thanks to the Universe and the organization that made it happen. What a sweetie.
She has the same inscrutable expression as a Chow.
Happy may have shed enough hair to fill a sofa but she is the most well behaved dog we've seen in a while. Great training obiously.
I've rewatched this SO many times -

We used one on my friends German shepherd, and my god. We removed a whole ass dog from that dog.
This dog is gorgeous! I can’t believe how calm and agreeable she is. She has a wonderful temperament.
Happy is a gorgeous, refined girl. So pretty! Her eyes and ears are my favorite features on her
What a pretty little face she has! So intelligent and present. So happy that she is still with us today 😊
What a well-behaved girl. Can’t imagine all that she’s seen and heard in her time on Earth. Glad she was rescued. She’s a beauty. ❤
What a beautiful well behaved dog!! I think she is one of the very best behaved I have seen you groom!! She deserves all of the good things in life, and it sounds like she has it now. What a great organization that rescues these dogs.♥
What a beautiful, calm girl. So glad she's found a good home and an excellent groomer 🐾🩷🩷
For her very first groom & escape attempts, she took it like a champ! So well behaved! The shedding was surreal!😯
She has such a wise, thoughtful face. I think at some point during the groom, her fear made way for "Hey, this lady is really nice, and what she's doing feels REALLY good", lol. The amount of hair she lost was crazy, and her coat colors came out gorgeously after the groom!
Very very well behaved pupper, hope she can be happy now that she's all clean!
She's probably a happy doggie usually ... but new experiences are probably not her favourite thing, after what she has been through.
So unbothered with the amount of brushing you were having to do 😂. Must feel really nice though ❤ Such a Beautiful Dog 💖 Seeing the true colour of her coat was everything 🤩✨✨🥰
Thanks!
Wow how well behaved she is!!!!!! Stands still like a rock ☺️
She is Happy, just very Korean, reserved way :-) Jindos tend to laugh and ignore you if you show any weakness in character. Vanessa is indeed a dog magician! Also, Happy should be a new spokesdog for Equitgroomer. All that undercoat coming out was GOAT
What a beautiful, gentle and well behaved poochie!! So thrilled that Happy has gone to a wonderful forever home! ❤❤
Thanks for all of the information!
@@Lost_Hwasal yeah you're pretty closer to the romanized pronounciation there. also american english can only get so close, i think vanessa nailed the pronunciation as close as what english can get before it's just her reading straight up hangul and I think that's pretty respectable that she attempted it pretty close
also people treating dogs as part of the family in south korea is mostly popularized by the younger generation. it's a very "new" concept! (which I believe is wrong because of the type of tonics and herbs that go into the soup is what gives the true benefits, but i digress)
the organizations are trying to change the minds of the older generation and there's has been a lot of progress lately! but there's still a lot of ways to go. do all koreans eat dog meat? no. but are some of the elderly still clinging to the idea that we should keep our dog meat eating traditions despite the awful abuse aimed at these poor dogs? yeah. that's the change we still need to focus on.
She didn't appear very happy about the groom (this time) but she is absolutely beautiful. I'm so very glad she was rescued.
Happy looks more like an Akita mix than a Jindo. What a gorgeous pooch!
She looks very jindo to me 🥹
She is a beautiful dog

What an absolutely beautiful dog. Very regal in her stance and demeanor. And one incredible fur factory 😁
What a beautiful breed, she’s been through a lot I’d imagine. So glad she has a safe and loving home. 💕

Yay for you, Happy!! I sure hope to see you again!

❤ we also have a Jindo Mix!
You are so knowledgeable about many breeds! Do you know them already or do you do research before you do their groom? Knowing how their coat & temperament are would be very helpful, so you know the best way to groom them. Thank you for all that you do for these furry companions 😊 Also, thank you to those who helped rescue these dogs from the meat trade & got them loving homes 🥰 Happy looks great & happy again at the end, as always. She did so well too 😊
