    @10:38 maybe you could have played knight to C3? This guards the checkmate square and opens the rook to protect the bishop, as well as developing the knight.

    10:45 I was thinking Nc3, although it could still be risky to not give your king an escape square. It does save your pieces at the moment.
    11:36 ROOK grabs QUEEN! What am I missing? 😀

      Nc3 would have allowed Qd1 with the backrank checkmate however.....

      @@TheBackyardProfessor Nc3 protects d1 at the moment, but yeah I still don't like it. I think you were good letting the bishop go, to give the king a great escape square. Better safe than sorry. You were on the attack anyway, so losing one piece wasn't bad.

      Hey professor, does Magnus Carlson or gms play the Italian opening as a viable winning strategy
      I read the Ruy Lopez gives you more chances I know Magnus plays that opening a lot
