Agree, i am an unicum and i have never had games like this. Every recent epic kolobanov potential i had was stolen from me by the last remaining enemy, just because they were lucky and i was not.
He said it best, the tank is so notorious it has a fear factor. Whenever I'm in a T6 or T7 and I see a BZ anywhere on the map, I try to do anything to be at the furthest possible distance away from it. The closer you are to it, the more likely it will hit you and you'll be sitting in the garage and using some really dirty S, X, F and even N-tier slurs to describe the developers who designed this and the management who approved its release. It singlehandedly ruined T6, T7 and T8 matchmaking for years. And WG will never have the balls to slightly hurt their whales and nerf it.

This tank is absolutely diabolic, WG really made a giant middle finger to the community when they released thing about a year and a half ago (they also tried to do so last Christmas, it was leaked and they rapidly modified this in the last minute) 🖕🖕
@@youtubiak EBR 75 FL 10 was (technically) nerfed - iirc it had the boost mechanic (separate but not unlike the BZ boosts) until the tech tree was officially released in Update 1.4, which removed its boost.
This tank had a part to play in why I quit playing WoT. They didn't "sell" this tank. They put it in lootboxes and made you gamble for it. I did and lost. Got 3 other crappy tanks for my $50 instead. So everytime I got exploded by one of them or just couldn't pen one with gold, it reminded me how much i truly hate wargaming. I'm also a very average player (too impatient), so I don't have a bunch of incentive to keep playing. 5 years was enough. Still love watching skill though.

Then the realization that people that spent less money than me got a better tank bothered me. We all want good tanks, just not so op that people hate you for playing it.
unfortunately they cant change a premium tank, they did with the super pershing 10 years ago, ended up in the american court. they lost a lot of money because of it. It is not viable to do so for them.
First it's a business and they NEED to make money to stay in business! You would be the first one crying if they decided to shut down saying again, "WG dont care about players" because they shut down. Second if all they cared about was money they would sell the BZ 176 the EBR 75 (FL10) and the 105 leFH1882 again for a high price. People would buy them making a PROFIT for WG and it would bring balance to the game because there would be more of them in battles creating a balance.
All those BZ players in the comments defending their precious paid victories XD. In the past, somehow WG was also selling premium tanks, but those were almost regular tech tree tanks (very often even worse) with preferential mm.... It was possible to earn cash in a pretty much non-destructive way, but WG got too greedy... And now they are slowly digging themselves a golden "scrooge mcduck treasury" burial grounds. Cause of death: drowned in money. It is already happening. WOT population is dwindling. It is not the same what it was. Soon the only players that will be left in the game will be your typical "BZ" or P2W type of player. So what they will do if all of the sudden everyone will have same paid advantage ? They will leave too. GG. End of story. WG knows this, as they are already developing another tank game. They just want to milk all of the whales that are still playing while they still they can.
The tank is broken with that much armor and the big alpha. But the battle should have been over when enemy IS was capping. There is always a dumb player thinking "I'm going to get some more xp by getting damage"
These kind of people don't understand that winning gives you at least x2 more xp than losing *AND DRAWING.* I hate people who just want useless draws. It's straight up useless. Like at least if you lose the enemy team gets more xp. So it's still a win for the playerbase to progress faster together.
Ye because game does not give any benefits to the player who captures the base. Like you receive worse stats and crying chat. I've captured a base couple of times and got 100 xp. I mean I made my team WIN the game and got a kaka in return.
The best way to keep everyone happy with this tank is to just buff it into tier 9 just give it 200 more hp and keep its armor and gun the same and bam its balanced

But lets be honest, we also call Obj 279e's "weakspots" on the turret, but when a "weakspot" is just 2 pixels large, the meaning of the word loses its grace. While this is not necessarily the case for BZ-176, trying to hit something because RNG can screw you right back still IS a thing.

Here's a wild theory. I'm not a BZ-176 or ANY shady sh** advocate, but... What if all these WoT youtubers /streamers are all saying that this tank (BZ-176) is OP and should not ever be sold again. Only for Wargaming to sell it at a super premium price and then have insane sales from that because of everyone saying how this tank is broken, the "fear of missing out" so to say... I remember when this tank came out, I had just finished my wot 'phase' so I didn't buy it because I didn't know when I'd return, returned this past Christmas and have been playing since, I damn regret not getting this tank, I know it probably gets all sorts of focus in games and is probably less fun to play these days, but I wanna feel this power just one time

I love this tank, but it is so rare to get a Tier 6 match with it. It's almost always a Tier 9 or 10 match. These seal clubbing games don't happen that often.
If WG don't want to nerf this tank, at least remove it from Tier 6 and 7 battles, put it against Tier 8, 9 and 10 only. After this they can sell the tank again or whatever! Thanks Skill the index page is very nice!
Sure Tanks is straight up unfair vs. tier VI but, the enemeys are special and threw it away. Would say you could have a battle like this even better with a T 56 with those enemys.
Skoda is also quite a broken tank so that still doesn't really absolve the issue at hand. The basic problem is that unlike a KV-2, these tanks have equal (or marginally better) alpha dmg, either directly or through burst while having a quite heavily armored tank. Facing inexperienced or 'bad' player is no excuse for a tank to simply be broken based on its stats alone.

this tank had me interested in the rocket line because they were all supposed to have a derp option but WG scrapped it and gave the line an average gun but let the bz176 keep its super derp. frankly WG should have changed the premium gun to the gun they replaced the chinese rocket ones to for balance. instead they let this thing stay in the game :/ ive got it but its just ridiculous

I think WG should've kept the derp option and actually made it a true dwerp, and not a Deathstar-like HESH-user in disguise. the 650 AP round is workable since it has low pen. The 800 HE(SH) round should've been a 50/60 pen value. and reduce its armor of the front turret a bit AND reduce its turret rotation. The fact this thing swings it's turret around as fast as a light tank (preverbially speaking) is absolute nonsense.
Yea, but atleast the tech tree variants dont have inpenetrable armor, so for them, they would have been more fair, look at the tier 8 BZ-166 that thing has huge cupolas. But the premium, nope, hit my 2mm cupole while I use my 10° of gun depression and wiggle around. Why do the BZ line even have so much gun depression, the chinese tanks are known for very bad gun depression. Makes no sense.

I 200% disagree, the only people who say the BZ-176 should never be sold again, already own one. Wargaming is screwing over everyone who doesn't have one and it's literally costing them more players than if they just sold the tank. The tank can't be un-done, time to let everyone else have a shot at owning one.
I was on my break when they sold this tank in the boxes, but i'm already predicting that in this year's boxes there will be a tier 8 premium medium tank with a 130mm gun, 3 shot magazine, ridiculous turret armor and a siege mode.
They need to put up the T8 EBR for sale again, I am pissed as a tank collector that I took a break when they had it up for sale in 2020....and they keep teasing it on splash wallpapers during game loading
This is a real highlight about the real meaning of broken. U can go "way too risky than necessary", U can be "very impatient", U don't need to care about "base defense", U can perform a "nice preaim" with growing bloom, from 400m+, and have a success. U can even "go through the middle of the field in a way..." And thats it. U don't need to be focused, U don't need to play precise, U don't need to do extraordinary tactical decisions to thatGreat success, honorable end stats, proud gamer. I need to defend A44 player for a real example. Yeah he was definitely not a Super Unicum, but hey... What did U expect from a Tier7 guy, who didn't even unlock the top gun of the A44? And he at least knew what a circle of death means, and tried that with a fkin Bonus. Now that was brave if something... He just shot standard rounds on a middle T7 gun means in this case 125 mm penetration. Not much place where U can shoot at a 176 with this, and not much angle U will succeed even from the side (Btw. it has a whopping 156 mm pen with gold in tier7 so...), but at least distraction... But what was the other option, while 176 was in a ditch and snapshotting all the incoming teammates on open field one by one?
What is the fuss about. I have this tank and I don't play it and I didn't see that many of them on random and I never had a game when this thing dominated.
I remember playin Aion IA server. And playing some other MMORPG games before WoT in 2014 (starting) all games and servers were giving OP weapons, armors, equipment and in like next year just suddenly shutting down server after they milked last drop. Wargaming is doing exactly the same unfortunately.
@@skorpion7132 the whole line was to have alternative high calibre HE guns like the BZ-176. For example; BZ-75 was to have an alternative 180mm gun, a 1800 dmg round with 75mm pen and a 1050 damage round with 225mm pen. This was all canned after the BZ-176 showed it would ruin the game.
WG can do the same as they did with the WT auf E100 I had finally gotten several years ago. They just stole it and replaced it with the comparative POS Grille.
and this game is exactly why I ignore chat with the "no cap kill all" nonsense.... its always better to just take the win. How to fix the BZ: Put it up to tier 9, increase shell pen and bump up the hp... fixed..
This is a classic case of incompetent players being incompetent. Then these same losers and others will see this video and cry about the BZ instead of realizing the obvious incompetence of this team of clowns. Is the BZ a strong tank? Yes, but it is beatable, I've soloed quite a few. You have to be smart when attacking a BZ and these people clearly weren't.

those players were most likely the unskilled kill hungry seagulls that my teams like to lose against, they dont cap and theres always that one troll that keeps stepping on and off cap while his teamates hunt you down instead of ending the game and capping. hate those kind of players and i cant believe im saying this im glad the bz won against those greedy cowardly seagull type players
yep i also like to cap instead of wasting 2-5 minutes chasing a light or driving across the map just to take out 2-5 last tanks. unfortunently too many people greedy seagull and afraid to 1v1 like men so they waste time chasing last tanks or hunting to get that 1 extra credit instead of capping and making more money finishing the match on time.
First let me say, I 100% agree with WG not nerfing or buffing premium tanks! I've bought a lot of tanks and I would uninstall if they started nerfing or buffing tanks I paid for with set specs! Saying that, they need to sell not only the BZ 176 but the EBR 75 (FL10) and 105 leFH1882 again. Why do I say that? Selling these tanks again gives more players especially those that joined after they were sold to buy these tanks. Buying these tanks would create more balance because there would be more of these OP tanks in battles. Then you wouldn't see them in battle as much because players know they can't just dominate due to the same tanks being in battles.
"Never sell it again" is the most ridiculous idea. When you have a game changer tank you have 3 options. 1) you nerf it (not the one I prefer) 2) you witdraw it from the game (like they did with WTE100) 3) You sell it daily so anyone can buy it. Never sell it again just gives a HUGE advandage to those they've already have it
WG should actually start nerfing premium tanks (since players are not buying ownership, but they only buy access to use them), or if not, most OP tanks should be for bonds. P2W is actually costing WG a lot of players. Too many players left and too many are leaving. It is a very short sighted approach that in the longer run will lead to death of WOT. The problem is not just BZ, but BZ is "just another" tank in the series. Typ 59. E25. Progetto. EBR. Chrysler. Defender.... There were many broken tanks in the past, but now, I don't even know how WG would have to buff every single other tier 8 & 7 tank, so that they would not nerf "premium" tank. I wish they actually started making tanks with preferential mm, as those are weaker than tech tree ones, offer a decent game & income and are not toxic & harmful for the game balance. Very often, when I see BZ or a platoon of BZ, I just know it is not going to be a good game, so I try to find deep water or cliff, so I can go back to garage faster & pick another tank, so that hopefully I could get a decent game. This is what WG has done. BZ is just too toxic for me.

I just don't want to play with them (both with them and against them) and I generally don't want to have anything to do wit them. Generally, if I see that I may have a chance to have a nice game, when there is a BZ on my or in enemy team, I just try to make sure that I will go to the part of the map where there is no BZ. If BZ is on enemy team, I will wait a bit till some one spots it & then go where I won't fighting it. It works both ways, so if there is a BZ on my team, I will always go elsewhere so I won't be even supporting my teammate... cuz they don't need me anyway, remember ? They bought outrageous P2W stuff, so they will win on their own. By choosing BZ, not only they show a middle finger towards EVERYBODY in the match (both enemy & their team), but also they support the P2W stuff in WOT, so why should I support such team mates ? And if they are on enemy team, like I have said - I will ignore them, or if there is no way to ignore them I won't be the source of fun for them. Also, speaking of "sabotage your team"... how long do you play WOT ? Do you still believe that team matters ? WG tough me not to care if the game is won or lost. It is all RNG. They even admitted it. That mm is designed to "control" player's win ration and keep it in 49 - 50%. Team is an illusion. Especially if you have a mission to do & you have to fight your own team to meet the conditions.

Right now it is just an old memory. BZ is not op, its toxic. It is the final bully. Bad against tier 9 and 10, invencible against tier 6 and 7. Makes the borasque balanced when you are in a tier 6 tank.
My BZ-176 is cursed. I played against tier 6 and tier 7 and Vz44-1 broke me. I hit him three times in spaced armor on upper plate doing 0 dmg with HESH ... Vz 44-1 has no spaced armor as far as I know! Three shots ... 0 dmg .... Thats my BZ-176 experience. Whenever I have such a match I put it back into the black hole it came from!
I sold mine when I cleaned out my garage. I basically play 2 or 3 tanks every now and then (I try to quit but can't...) I think I own 10 max tanks now.
Have this tank myself, 3 marked it during holiday ops and rarely touch it. Don’t get me wrong I like playing it, but it’s just too damn broken and unfair against others that I rarely play it. Here and there I dust it off when in platoon but outside of that I’m not using it. This tank should get matchmaking against an enemy BZ just like how they do with wheeled vehicles.
It was both, really Like Skill said, even against truly stupid enemies (which these weren't), the IS6 could never have done anything like that Or the T34. Or the Renegade. Or any other tank They did go at him one at a time though, and gave him time to reload, which was not good team play But still. Any other tank would have been dead there really quick
If you can believe it I traded this tank in for the Obj 703 II. I hated the WZ, turtle slow, everyone hid from the gun, armor would still get penned, I could go on. And yeah it should never be sold again.
When I play mine wargaming always puts me in T9 matchmaking. They all load the gold and eliminate me straight away. I can’t remember if I ever had a match with T6 in it.

Not really. Remember the Chrysler GF? It was invincible, until Wag nerfed it's upper turret, and buffed premiums.

The tank is broken with that much armor and the big alpha. But the battle should have been over when enemy IS was capping. There is always a dumb player thinking "I'm going to get some more xp by getting damage"

I hate people who just want useless draws. It's straight up useless. Like at least if you lose the enemy team gets more xp. So it's still a win for the playerbase to progress faster together.

@@arif11011 I'll grant you BZ-176 has some good weakspots. But lets be honest, we also call Obj 279e's "weakspots" on the turret, but when a "weakspot" is just 2 pixels large, the meaning of the word loses its grace.
While this is not necessarily the case for BZ-176, trying to hit something because RNG can screw you right back still IS a thing.

Here's a wild theory. I'm not a BZ-176 or ANY shady sh** advocate, but... What if all these WoT youtubers /streamers are all saying that this tank (BZ-176) is OP and should not ever be sold again. Only for Wargaming to sell it at a super premium price and then have insane sales from that because of everyone saying how this tank is broken, the "fear of missing out" so to say... In the hands of a good player any tank can be viewed as OP. Ofcourse the tank is powerful, you might even say OP, but if you give it to a "tourist" its just another tank.

I remember when this tank came out, I had just finished my wot 'phase' so I didn't buy it because I didn't know when I'd return, returned this past Christmas and have been playing since, I damn regret not getting this tank, I know it probably gets all sorts of focus in games and is probably less fun to play these days, but I wanna feel this power just one time

EBR 75 is a very high skill tank to survive and carry games, BZ is a zero low skill tank to do both

I love this tank, but it is so rare to get a Tier 6 match with it. It's almost always a Tier 9 or 10 match. These seal clubbing games don't happen that often.
If WG don't want to nerf this tank, at least remove it from Tier 6 and 7 battles, put it against Tier 8, 9 and 10 only. After this they can sell the tank again or whatever! Thanks Skill the index page is very nice!

Sure Tanks is straight up unfair vs. tier VI but, the enemeys are special and threw it away. Would say you could have a battle like this even better with a T 56 with those enemys.
Skoda is also quite a broken tank so that still doesn't really absolve the issue at hand. The basic problem is that unlike a KV-2, these tanks have equal (or marginally better) alpha dmg, either directly or through burst while having a quite heavily armored tank. Facing inexperienced or 'bad' player is no excuse for a tank to simply be broken based on its stats alone.

this tank had me interested in the rocket line because they were all supposed to have a derp option but WG scrapped it and gave the line an average gun but let the bz176 keep its super derp. frankly WG should have changed the premium gun to the gun they replaced the chinese rocket ones to for balance. instead they let this thing stay in the game :/ ive got it but its just ridiculous
It would be okay if it worked like any other derp gun in the game. But it has more HE pen than some tier 8 HTs have AP pen....

I think WG should've kept the derp option and actually made it a true dwerp, and not a Deathstar-like HESH-user in disguise. the 650 AP round is workable since it has low pen. The 800 HE(SH) round should've been a 50/60 pen value. and reduce its armor of the front turret a bit AND reduce its turret rotation. The fact this thing swings it's turret around as fast as a light tank (preverbially speaking) is absolute nonsense.

Yea, but atleast the tech tree variants dont have inpenetrable armor, so for them, they would have been more fair, look at the tier 8 BZ-166 that thing has huge cupolas. But the premium, nope, hit my 2mm cupole while I use my 10° of gun depression and wiggle around. Why do the BZ line even have so much gun depression, the chinese tanks are known for very bad gun depression. Makes no sense.

I 200% disagree, the only people who say the BZ-176 should never be sold again, already own one. Wargaming is screwing over everyone who doesn't have one and it's literally costing them more players than if they just sold the tank. The tank can't be un-done, time to let everyone else have a shot at owning one.

I was on my break when they sold this tank in the boxes, but i'm already predicting that in this year's boxes there will be a tier 8 premium medium tank with a 130mm gun, 3 shot magazine, ridiculous turret armor and a siege mode.
They need to put up the T8 EBR for sale again, I am pissed as a tank collector that I took a break when they had it up for sale in 2020....and they keep teasing it on splash wallpapers during game loading

This is a real highlight about the real meaning of broken. U can go "way too risky than necessary", U can be "very impatient", U don't need to care about "base defense", U can perform a "nice preaim" with growing bloom, from 400m+, and have a success. U can even "go through the middle of the field in a way..." And thats it. U don't need to be focused, U don't need to play precise, U don't need to do extraordinary tactical decisions to thatGreat success, honorable end stats, proud gamer.
I need to defend A44 player for a real example. Yeah he was definitely not a Super Unicum, but hey... What did U expect from a Tier7 guy, who didn't even unlock the top gun of the A44? And he at least knew what a circle of death means, and tried that with a fkin Bonus. Now that was brave if something... He just shot standard rounds on a middle T7 gun means in this case 125 mm penetration. Not much place where U can shoot at a 176 with this, and not much angle U will succeed even from the side (Btw. it has a whopping 156 mm pen with gold in tier7 so...), but at least distraction... But what was the other option, while 176 was in a ditch and snapshotting all the incoming teammates on open field one by one?

What is the fuss about. I have this tank and I don't play it and I didn't see that many of them on random and I never had a game when this thing dominated.
I remember playin Aion IA server. And playing some other MMORPG games before WoT in 2014 (starting) all games and servers were giving OP weapons, armors, equipment and in like next year just suddenly shutting down server after they milked last drop. Wargaming is doing exactly the same unfortunately.
It was very expensive to buy from boxes, which makes it completely balanced.

@@skorpion7132 the whole line was to have alternative high calibre HE guns like the BZ-176. For example; BZ-75 was to have an alternative 180mm gun, a 1800 dmg round with 75mm pen and a 1050 damage round with 225mm pen.
This was all canned after the BZ-176 showed it would ruin the game.

Is the BZ a strong tank? Yes, but it is beatable, I've soloed quite a few. You have to be smart when attacking a BZ and these people clearly weren't.

Only nerf WG needs to do with this tank is to restrict it to tier 8 and up.
Stopped playing in 2017 because of the release of the Chrysler K. Happy to see they've only gotten more ridiculous with the premium tanks since then.

First let me say, I 100% agree with WG not nerfing or buffing premium tanks! I've bought a lot of tanks and I would uninstall if they started nerfing or buffing tanks I paid for with set specs! Saying that, they need to sell not only the BZ 176 but the EBR 75 (FL10) and 105 leFH1882 again. Why do I say that? Selling these tanks again gives more players especially those that joined after they were sold to buy these tanks. Buying these tanks would create more balance because there would be more of these OP tanks in battles. Then you wouldn't see them in battle as much because players know they can't just dominate due to the same tanks being in battles.
Wargaming gave me the greatest Christmas gift of the BZ-176, I can't imagine how salty and annoying I would be If I didn't own the thing.

"Never sell it again" is the most ridiculous idea. When you have a game changer tank you have 3 options. 1) you nerf it (not the one I prefer) 2) you witdraw it from the game (like they did with WTE100) 3) You sell it daily so anyone can buy it. Never sell it again just gives a HUGE advandage to those they've already have it
WG should actually start nerfing premium tanks (since players are not buying ownership, but they only buy access to use them), or if not, most OP tanks should be for bonds. P2W is actually costing WG a lot of players. Too many players left and too many are leaving. It is a very short sighted approach that in the longer run will lead to death of WOT. The problem is not just BZ, but BZ is "just another" tank in the series. Typ 59. E25. Progetto. EBR. Chrysler. Defender.... There were many broken tanks in the past, but now, I don't even know how WG would have to buff every single other tier 8 & 7 tank, so that they would not nerf "premium" tank. I wish they actually started making tanks with preferential mm, as those are weaker than tech tree ones, offer a decent game & income and are not toxic & harmful for the game balance.
Very often, when I see BZ or a platoon of BZ, I just know it is not going to be a good game, so I try to find deep water or cliff, so I can go back to garage faster & pick another tank, so that hopefully I could get a decent game. This is what WG has done. BZ is just too toxic for me.
So instead of fighting back you literally sabotage your own team and blame it on the bz. Good to know bro
@@arif11011 You know what ? I have more respect towards tier 5 premium arty players than BZ players. I just don't want to play with them (both with them and against them) and I generally don't want to have anything to do wit them. Generally, if I see that I may have a chance to have a nice game, when there is a BZ on my or in enemy team, I just try to make sure that I will go to the part of the map where there is no BZ. If BZ is on enemy team, I will wait a bit till some one spots it & then go where I won't fighting it. It works both ways, so if there is a BZ on my team, I will always go elsewhere so I won't be even supporting my teammate... cuz they don't need me anyway, remember ? They bought outrageous P2W stuff, so they will win on their own. By choosing BZ, not only they show a middle finger towards EVERYBODY in the match (both enemy & their team), but also they support the P2W stuff in WOT, so why should I support such team mates ? And if they are on enemy team, like I have said - I will ignore them, or if there is no way to ignore them I won't be the source of fun for them.
Also, speaking of "sabotage your team"... how long do you play WOT ? Do you still believe that team matters ? WG tough me not to care if the game is won or lost. It is all RNG. They even admitted it. That mm is designed to "control" player's win ration and keep it in 49 - 50%. Team is an illusion. Especially if you have a mission to do & you have to fight your own team to meet the conditions.

@@arif11011 I can not count how many times I carried the game too. I have like 32K battles & started playing in 2012. Carries did not happened often. Very rarely. But what does it matter now ? Right now it is just an old memory. A memory, cuz nowadays, the trend is if you are not a high-level p2w player (who buys every single loot box x 500), you won't be having all those "carries" any more. It just hurts me to see what has become of this game.

BZ is not op, its toxic. It is the final bully. Bad against tier 9 and 10, invencible against tier 6 and 7. Makes the borasque balanced when you are in a tier 6 tank.

My BZ-176 is cursed. I played against tier 6 and tier 7 and Vz44-1 broke me. I hit him three times in spaced armor on upper plate doing 0 dmg with HESH ... Vz 44-1 has no spaced armor as far as I know!
Three shots ... 0 dmg .... Thats my BZ-176 experience.
Whenever I have such a match I put it back into the black hole it came from!

I sold mine when I cleaned out my garage. I basically play 2 or 3 tanks every now and then (I try to quit but can't...) I think I own 10 max tanks now.
Wargaming was just testing the waters with introducing tier 11 vehicles.

I find it odd that they resold this tank and haven't said it'll never be sold again, BUT, they won't resell the ebr 75 because of 'balance'.
Have this tank myself, 3 marked it during holiday ops and rarely touch it. Don’t get me wrong I like playing it, but it’s just too damn broken and unfair against others that I rarely play it. Here and there I dust it off when in platoon but outside of that I’m not using it. This tank should get matchmaking against an enemy BZ just like how they do with wheeled vehicles.
BZ is a strong tank, I agree with you, but in the battle it wasn't the tank but rather the opponents who were simply not good.

When I play mine wargaming always puts me in T9 matchmaking. They all load the gold and eliminate me straight away. I can’t remember if I ever had a match with T6 in it.
