You mean the 380? Wasn't a good bike, from what I heard. Almost bought one, and the reviews weren't good. It would be cool if they came up with a 350 modern smoker that could compete with the 4-strokes, though.
@@johntomasik1555 it was a great bike it just didn't hit like a 250 it behaved like a 300 just a torque monster so I guess back then racers preferred the snappy 250 feeling as it would've felt faster when in reality they would've been quicker on the smooth 380. But your right a modern 350 2t would be phenomenal or even a 400 but that's getting a bit silly haha
The Red Bull straight Rhythm (Factory Red Bull/TLD) KTM 250's are 325cc which would run all over the old 360 suspension and engine wise so wouldn't be much point. you can buy a 300 cc head from the KTM power parts catalogue
No 360 sx 1997 it had conventional 50mm front forks and linkage rear end 55 hp 214 lbs it ripped. 99 380 got fair reviews because they went to link less rear end that created sinkbug handling with the inverted forks motor was awesome.
Sounds like my good ole days to me ! Wish you guys had provided some commentary on the bike though. 2 strokes still rule in my book because I spent 16 years racing them . Nothing else sounds that good !
No chance, the third gen CR250R. Known as the best bike ever made. Sounds nuts with a pro circuit works and R-304 or TI-2. Sounds good with any exhaust though.
When the 4 stroke resurgence first hit around 2000, I thought they sounded so tough. Now I miss the sound of the smokers. LOL.... What's Webb doing with the smoker? Any intent to race somewhere, or just for play?
Nope, they train in 2 strokes because they make you better riders.. then they tend 4 chokes cos that's what they see issue to race. 1st Pro that did this was Antonio Cairoli. Then others picked up on it.
@@massboys7313 Unless you're going to race some races where smokers might be advantageous, like GNCC. Plessinger's going to try to get into a couple GNCC races during this COVID lockdown. Thought Webb might be looking at another series just to keep racing.
My son raced against Cooper many many times on minis. I knew he would make it big. At Coopers local track Robbins Ridge he was running with 450s on his 85.
A few of my buddies and I were blown off the track by a kid on an 85, very very impressive. Still smile thinking of that dude rippin. Had to pull off to watch, or at least curb our slow ass embarrassment.
This was not uncommon back when I was racing. In fact, for extra seat time, i used to run and win the 450 class on my 250f. 450 guys tended to be a bit older and more mature so I didn't have to worry about some squid piledriving me in the first turn. 😂
@MassBoys, don't tell me what I've seen dude. 2 strokes make you sharper, more agile and more aggressive and build your balance. 4 chokes you pretty much lose all of those skills. When DeCoster says it takes a better rider to ride a 2 stroke there telling you everything right there.
He's reving it to hard to try and slow it down. That 250 would pull harder if he shifted earlier in the meat of the power. He's reving it just past the point of peak power.
Japanese. I race a 05 Cr125 and a 06 Cr250 (all original with some mods like JD jetting kits, d.i.d dirtstar rims and some other kool mods.) CRs will always be the best bikes wether you like it or not.
Motocross Action Tests Cooper Webb's bike, he raced this bike at the 2019 Red Bull Straight Rhythm two-stroke only event and we took it out to Milestone with the KTM guys afterwards to ride it for the day, create this video and write an article about it for our magazine and website.
Sounds so crisp and clean, 2-stroke on the pipe. Love it!!!
Same
That baby barks. Love to see KTM make a 360sx again. Nice berm ralling!
*380 bring that baby back!!!

Yamaha with PC pipes can't be beat for sound. But KTM is king of HP.

That 250 screams like a 125. Really nice sound
But have more power then 125cc
Listen with headphones at full volume ⚡
Rip Milestone 🥺
Ktm and Husqvarna hands down have the baddest 2 strokes on the market.
Agreed 1000% percent dude and the Ktm and husqvarna bikes are so fast and nimble especially the 2 stroke
Yes the bike is unreal............but how bout some praise for this riding, this bloke is rippin it!
The whole package looks and sounds so crisp!

John Tomasik he raced straight rhythm with it and probably will do it again

They do not train on 2 strokes lol, that's webbs straight rhythm bike

I could only dream of owning such a modded bike! I currently have a quad and want to get back into moto X!
How crap do the 4 strokes in the background sound compared to this thing!
Pastrana tearin it up on Coops ripper
NOTHING sounds better than a racing 2-stroke on the pipe!
Wish they would parked all the wet farts so we could of heard nothing but true greatness and none of the laziness
Thanks for not ruining it with music
In 2 Stroke we Trust...Pure Soul Moving...Nothing...less
You guys always TEST these two strokes on the perfectly groomed flat tracks that I can even ride fast.
Fast. Dude has really nice throttle control, but may want to keep both feet on the pegs in those long corners. Impressive stuff.
The bike look so easy in the air. It's so light you just think about the position you want and it follows.
These bikes are cool and all, but whatever happened to the "we rode 's factory race bike"?
therawlifefamily this is a factory race bike
very good test pilot I feel that over rev the engine in the air the 2 st have to cool down in the air.
Awesome ride love your gear and style.❤️
I thought the straight rhythm KTM's were all three hundreds.
Shhh
Does anybody know the carb and jetting on that thing?? Please somebody anybody.
Them some clean virals
Four strokes wish they could sound like this.
Love it but is it me when I say that 250 looks tiny?
How does this KTM 250sx sound so much better than a stock 250sx? Is it the aftermarket expansion chamber and shorter exhaust pipe?
How is he ridding at milestone?
Love KTM 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I don't have it 😩
thing looks so fast lol
That thing is fkin mean!
looks so light and agile
That’s the exact dirt bike I need🤣
Nice bike how much horse power dose it have???
Test rider is on the gas, fast
Is it just me or does the ktm 250 sound a lot like the RM250.

you're smoked, I never said it doesn't take more skill, I said they don't train on 2 strokes and they don't, simple as that.
Not Cooper Webb on his bike should be the title. Maybe his Dad
I hate KTM but this bike i must tell is the most beautiful bike ❤️
He's reving it to hard to try and slow it down. That 250 would pull harder if he shifted earlier in the meat of the power. He's reving it just past the point of peak power.
He would definitely get more pull 👍
Por favor que regresen puras motos de 2 tiempos a las carreras. 4T no gustar.
Whats better european or japanese dirtbikes??

Too bad you cant watch him on it in a real Pro race.
Is that cry babie’s bike? Cooper Webb. Cooper always looks like a stoner
Effortless.
Doubt that's Cooper webb riding.....don't think he would even get on a 2 stroke. Click bait
Its not him riding in the video and they never said it was. This is the bike he raced at straight rhythm
😂🤣
