I have a robotron arcade game. The left joystick sometimes gets stuck and won't move in the left direction. I'm getting a new joystick mailed out to me but any input as to why this could be happening would be great.

Looks like u just have a bad microswitch button or leaf connector stuck closed....since it is always going left then it is stuck closed ....simply replace the microswitch that triggers the left movement ..or space out the leaf switches so they are not touching...Normally open(NO)...you don't have to buy a new joystick just a microswitch or leaf switch
