The fact it isn't hollow makes the buttons and stick so much more quiet. I love this! I wouldn't wake my child by playing fighters anymore. I gotta go get a router now!
When I first started to watch this, I thought "why not just build a hollow box with MDF and go from there, but as I started to see the arcade cabinet take shape. Man you really have working with a palm router down to a fine art. I like the way you used a piece of aluminum to make a circular template. Very cool. Nice job, well done sir!
I'm pretty amazed at how silent the stick and buttons are. I'm pretty amazed at everything tbh. And to people saying what a waste of wood, how else would you go about making a stick made from a SINGLE block of wood?
If I attempted to do this myself I wouldn't have enough fingers left to enjoy it lol. Excellent work btw! You would have destroyed my old wood shop teacher. Yes, I'm talking about you, Mr. Horan.
This time I told myself, "I'll just watch it, give it a thumbs up and not leave a comment." I have to leave a comment that was a great video and I loved the end!
Awesome custom stick man . I love the look of this . I wish I had all the tools to start a project myself . Thumbs up from me though . This is one cool looking stick .
+Mohammed Khan Is not for sale man! I make it for me. I'm a street fighter player and i need one Arcade Stick! :) But i take a lot of messages about this stick, maybe sometime i make many sticks!
Make it Extreme - that would be awesome if you did!! I want this arcade stick so bad, the finished product looks amazing. Let us know if you ever decide to make some for sale!

Trim router got the workout of its life!
+Tyler G Exactly! :) Thanks for the comment my friend!
I was thinking the same thing, I only ever use mine for trimming laminate.

Excellent job, your standard of finish is swell. Keep en coming! Thanks.
Brilliant! I've built a few projects myself but it got to the stage where the building is more fun than the playing :p

I'm pretty amazed at how silent the stick and buttons are. I'm pretty amazed at everything tbh. And to people saying what a waste of wood, how else would you go about making a stick made from a SINGLE block of wood?
Another awesome project, I may have to shamelessly steal the idea of numbering each creation. I think that is a really nice touch.
