    Helped my last relationship move out there 6 months ago. She's lonely and that sucks but she's a shy, quiet person who had a small circle when she was with me. It's a cultural thing (China born) but I'm proud of he making the move without resources. It's actually how we me when she moved to the Northbay and I met her the first 2 months of moving here. Friends and relationships will happen in time. Meet Up is good and I did it here before meeting her. I'll recommend it to her. =)

    Thanks for making this! It's so hard to make friends in new cities. I have moved a couple times and ended up being really lonely or hanging with people I don't exactly like which sometimes makes it worse lol. These tips, if I integrated them, could really help! I was especially thinking of getting back to church. Although I don't consider myself a Christian, I think church would be such a great way to connect with community that would be willing to chip in when I need help with things--which is a lot since I'm a single mom of a little one!! I'll be moving to Vegas in a couple of weeks, maybe we can create a meetup with people on this yt page!

      'm from California. My family moved here in the 1990's after I went to college. I went to school regarding exactly what we are covering here. I quit my high paying job to learn more about Vegas. I've studied the problems throughout Vegas. I don't just buy a house without learning more about where I live. Now let's go. First off entertainment (i.e. gambling) means that you will be up against gamblers who want to win by you losing. That means the politicians to begin with. I've faced their corruption here and "THEY" WILL ROB YOU BLIND. "They" seem to favor Mexican's and blacks here and have a thing against whites or Caucasians. "They seem to be extremely racist here. I'm suing the county of Clark over these issues. So let's continue. Here you will be up against high crime like home Invasions, rape, murder and worse of all political corruption. Look it all up for yourself. Other than that I've had several cars stolen, vandalism to my property and more theft, including burglary. You cannot have anything on your patio or porch. I've had bicycles stolen right off of my porch. Not cheap bikes. After replacing bikes, they would steal the seat or parts accessible that aren't locked. I've had a moped stolen. People lying here constantly as a part of "The Gambler's Soul" to win by cheating. On one occasion when I was a computer tech in the sales business I had a check bounce given to me by a military guy and his military bank would not support his theft. ( A lot of Air Force guys here. USSA Bank...LOL) The list goes on. Also, I used to sales automobiles. Mexicans would pour into Vegas and ruined that. The Mexicans have pretty much taken over a lot of small businesses since the wall was built. I move from little Mexico from Vegas to Henderson and all I hear around hear is Mexican music and see Mexican businesses. They drive Hummer's, Mercedes' and other luxurious cars. The old white gamblers who bought everything up before other white's/Caucasians moved here just feed into it. As long as they profit from it. Blacks work in areas of employment for which they are not qualified or experienced, because of their color. Asian's overran the city as well. There is a China town here but American's that are homeless don't have a home. And they say I cannot help my own people, but other races can run America into the ground.
      So if you like people, just not messed up ones, don't move here or your opinion will change quickly. If you are NOT racist Do Not move here or your perspective will change due to the politics and politicians Gerrymandering in these areas. The list goes on here. So DON"T GIVE THESE COCKROACHES A SINGLE PENNY OF YOURS>>> If you like your life, don't bring it here. If you like your family don't bring them here. (Ours has definitely been affected by these blood suckers.)
      If you want bedbugs, come here. If you like house roaches taking over your house. Your neighbors just might accommodate your desires. If you have a child it might end up on the streets as a hooker. Strip clubs are hiring little to be hookers who cannot afford college. If they don't binge drink themselves to death here partying too much or do too much Fentynal and die, they'll make it through. I went to a local college here as well. So I do know this place better than most. I'm a business man and a investor. If you want to truly learn how to invest it will be learning about Las Vegas ("Lost Wages",some call it.) and you will not invest in the place at all. It's a Nomad State... where you pull money out from being an outsider and the internal residents get screwed. There is a dental office on every corner but your insurance will most likely be turned down. Especially if you are on Medicare or Medicare. Bad, bad, bad.
      I did home repairs and found that the homes are in sad shape. Many are not even up to code. Or it is that residents buy a newly built home, but it is already falling apart. (Reported in the news recently as well.) And look up HOA harassment and PTSD cases here. It's bad.
      Look up elderly abuse here. Fraud and abuse with Medicare to the homeless elderly. (Why are American elderly on the streets and Mexicans running businesses anyway?) Don't bring your grandpa or grandma here to live or "they" want all of the SSI money's in the machines. And the youth here are screwed to pick up that deficit bill. In 2008 the entire Vegas valley went down. I survived because of my various skills and abilities, but others did not. They lost their businesses and investments, their families, and some people even took their own lives. That's another thing_ suicide here it's pretty high as well. Recently it was reported that a young woman took her own life by jumping off a bridge.Typical around here. I know of a couple just around me. The environment here is bad. Look up the divorce rate here... It's on high. I keep studying and keep suing. If you want to know more or get an interview you can contact me. I'm an inventor and a investor. We can direct you away from financial losses and get you back on track again. Thank you, sincerely RCM.

    A city full of people and loneliness. It is ironic. But be careful. You may be a victim of someone lurking on those nice persons looking for company. Love yourself first. Improve your personality each day. Polish your will and mind. Engage in all health activities and be cautious. Do all you can until even the stone you step on want to be with you. Remain strong and don't allow your feeling sabotage your happiness. Remember this! you are your best company. Learn it, it is possible. Sunshine Las Vegas provides advise you can follow. But the change start with every one of us. Good luck in finding the friend or company you need for.

      Being raised in Vegas, I think the fitness culture is pretty ok! Theres two main larger gyms people go to that have multiple locations, LVAC and EOS and lots of crazy ripped ppl go there haha as well as your average gym goer. Foodie culture has definitely been growing in the city, but so have the amount of food places that are healthy and cater to specific diets! Also, lots of people go to red rock to bike mountains and hike!

    • @pstash78
      @pstash78 4 года назад +1

      @@TheJammasterrick Pretty ignorant of you to think Vegas doesn't prioritize gym/fitness culture. The entertainment industry is set to a high standard of being fit because the nature of the business is well... firm & fit sells. Meal prep businesses can be found next to gyms. Mr./Mrs. Olympia is a huge annual week-long expo in Vegas. Also, most locals don't go out of the way to go on The Strip just to dine at a buffet... the fat ass tourists do.

Lol seems like you don’t know how to adapt to change, you can’t accept the fact that people are willing to work harder than you do, and also seems like you’ve experienced lotsa bad karma haha! is it not common sense to keep your valuables kept in safe places so they aren’t taken? sucks to see that you are stuck in a very old and outdated mindset and can’t accept the fact that countries must progress and evolve. Vegas may not be the best city for you if your standards are that restricted, you might want to check out Living in the Midwest. Those places may closely resonate that 1950s lifestyle you desire!

    Vegas is not that spread out compared to other cities like Los Angeles and New York.. Sad to say this but Most of the people in Vegas seem "shady" and "low class". Maybe because I lived in a rich/ stuck up place like L.A. for decades. Criticized them when I was there, but now think I prefer those progressive people over the types I've witnessed in Las Vegas :( Friends of Friends is probably best, but I would be cautious of them too.. Only time will tell if anyone is trustworthy to befriend.
