How to service Rockshox Sektor RL fork | oil change

Hey guys, today i will show you how to perform some basic maintenance on my RockShox Sektor RL fork. I am doing this after every season, when i am done with MTB. You can also open and regrease damper and air spring assemblies but that’s bit more demanding on tooling and skills
This procedure is the same on many other types of forks, but with different oil volumes and types.

I did my first service a few days ago, only did the lowers.. I had to pull out the seals to get the foam rings on. Does your sketro rl make a squishing sound when the forks compress/decompress? Maybe I need to service the uppers as well..

@@abbyabz6940 Yes it does make that sound. It’s because of damper setup. If you play with it, it should disappear but then your setup may be wrong.

@@abbyabz6940 If you ride a lot and also in bad weather you might do the uppers, but with only casual riding you don’t need to service them often.

I will service the uppers I brought the bike second hand, the noise seems a bit worse since doing the lowers 😮
