- In the back courtyard of the Tomb of the Unknowns, you can see a very interesting Easter Egg dedicated to some personalities of the past games, all signed on the Memorial Wall.
To achieve this Easter Egg you will need to pick up all the Collectibles dedicated to these characters. After that, you will be able to interact with the Memorial Wall and see Kait's commemorative hail.

She didn’t die in the war. All death were during the war, also we went to her grave in Gears 4.

Gears of War 2 was my introduction to the series, so that line hits me hard
The way Prescotts remembered kind of bugs me, there’s one line in gears 3 where deltas talking about Azura and how Prescott had this amazing retreat island all these years and Marcus says “yeah but he stayed with us the whole time” and I think that’s pretty important, he made the impossible decisions that ultimately save humanity (eg moving Adam to the island to make the lambent countermeasure device) and he stayed with and led humanity from Jacinto for 15 years. Yeah he was a bit of a dick but ultimately he was a good guy and leader that was needed at the time
After I read the comic it also help clear his case a lot too cuz now I couldn't give him BS anyway cuz he had some pretty good reasons y he left
Without Prescott, humanity wouldn't have survived, I love the sacrifices they had to make, hammer of dawn, sinking jacinto etc. It just add to the epicness of the entire war

I love that characters from the Gears of War novels such as those who died in the book Aspho Fields like Carlos Santiago and Georg Timiou, Dominic Young, Helena Stroud and Bai Tak are in this, such great connectivity

You can also find the names of Dane Forge and Will Carmine who both died during The Rise of Raam comic books. It's worth mentioning that Jan Rojas and Gyules from Gears 1 are also there, too bad one of them appeared as a dead body and the other was battered to death by a Berserker.

I got chills everytime one of them talked, and got emotional when Ben, Anthony, Dom and Tai talked, this Easter Egg alone made me like this game *a lot*

@@alwayssneezing7096 Yeah, Barrick died holding off a bunch of Grubs in Montevado after the Locust used the Riftworm to sink it in the first arc of the DC/Wildstorm series of Gears of War comics. He bought time for Jace and Dom to get to Marcus.

the description when you find his helmet sumerises how he was in gears of war 2 man i remembered how he was trying to cover delta's retreat until cole told him to save his strengh for the playoffs and later died getting torn to shreads by insects his lastwords to marcus were heartbreaking

They forgot to put Sofia from gears of war judgement in the hologram.
They excluded a lot of characters who died. Sofia also isn't confirmed to be dead, we just know she was kidnapped.
