  • Get behind the scenes at the Blue Wave Boats factory in Seminole, OK.
Roger Parks had a dream. He was, as they say, a man with a plan. That plan led him to build the very first Blue Wave Boat, by hand, in his garage with the help of his two young sons, Richard and Steven, in 1992. As his boys grew, so did the family business, and so did the demand for Blue Wave Boats.
Today, Blue Wave Boats are still built by hand under the leadership of Richard and Steven Parks in a newly constructed 160,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. Blue Wave produces boats from 19 feet to 28 feet. Currently, Blue Wave builds the world's largest bay boat! in 2020 Blue Wave Boats launched its first offshore boat, Makaira.
You can continue to look forward to innovative build techniques and boat models from Blue Wave Boats...

We just took the 2800 Makaira with twin 300's from Florida to Bimini, Bahamas and put it on my RUclips channel.

Cryin ass shame what Horizon Holdings did to BWB and the Parks family themselves! I have owned my 2017 2400PB since Jan-2017 and it's been a GREAT boat that I still enjoy and am proud to own. But those built after 2020 (when HH ran the Parks' sons off) I understand those boats to be suspect and many have had numerous issues. The marine industry is FULL of stories just like this, original owners/family builds the business and decades later are ready to retire and enjoy their golden years. Mr. Parks did that in 2018 when he sold BWB to HH and was also "assured" that his sons would be left in charge of the company that all of them had built. (Sadly tho Mr. Parks passed less than a year later) But like so many before them, an equity group steps in and starts running thing via the corporate/bean counter way and well now we see how good those corporate guys are at running anything larger than a koolade stand, HH has now filed for bankruptcy, BWB operations have ceased and who knows where everything will end up. I HOPE that the Parks boys will once again own the boat brand and company that is rightfully their heritage! (Fingers crossed)

Just purchased a 22 STL and almost sunk the first time I had it out. It's been back to the dealer 3 times and still not fixed. It came to the dealer with this issue and Blue Wave won't respond to my calls or request for contact online. 80 K for a boat and this????

Is there any chance the Parks family can restart it and or sue Horizon? Typical money hungry business people ruining a great company for the love of their greedy pockets.
