    I have been incredibly critical of this car since its inception, this is most definitely a step in the right direction. These car will be a handful in warmer temperatures since there will also be less grip. Just needs a little bit more power than 670.

    • @garrettkeyt7661
      @garrettkeyt7661 2 года назад +4

      Just go into it open-minded. These bodies are symmetrical with basically no side force so we don't want to make them too hard to drive cause at some point it hurts the racing product the same way them being too easy to drive does. COT had 900 with symmetrical bodies and although it was sick to watch the guys work the wheel on long runs; I do think it had a factor in that era of racing being known for very strung out races at big tracks.

      @@samharris3508 fair enough. I’m never bothered by it being strung out either but sadly the days of just loading the cars down with as much hp as possible and them going 400 laps green are over. It’s bad for rating and overall isn’t popular. This is the whole reason we had 550 hp and the stages were created in the first place. If u want these cars to be even somewhat hard to drive you better pray for a package that can keep the cars together and competing. Just something to think about because nascar already doesn’t want to do this and is only going up to 670 because they have to. One bad season and they’ll say F it and drop the hp below 500 and we’ll be watching bumper cars on Sundays

      @@garrettkeyt7661 Yeah, im going in with a healthy amount of skepticism. Knowing how gimmicky NASCAR has become, I knew what direction they were headed in with this car. So I'm glad to see they are getting their heads out of their asses and bumping up the power.

    this car reminds me of the trans am cars many years ago.back when rousch & tommy kendall were setting records.it would be great for rousch to be competitive again.apearently roger penske is giving ford more money than jack rousch could.hope brad can at least help them get consistant top 10s in his first year.

    Feel like a dog trying to look out the passenger side window at the cars
