    I have been a heavy weed smoker since the age of 13. And ever since I quit smoking and started going to the gym to get my heart rate up, immediately after a intense workout especially insanity I get a feeling a bliss that last throughout the whole day!!! Then I do meditation right after I workout and it is the best feeling ever. I be hype, energetic, and ready to go out on my adventure and complete things. I realized that the gym and meditation, plus eating healthy is a must. Taking care of your body is not a joke, if you take care of yourself then everything else will be token care of. There is a natural beautiful high that comes from spending time with yourself every morning!!!

      You are absolutely right..when I started meditating.I was feeling ok but I experienced severe anger towards other and intense depression ...I mean extreme anger where I could have broken anything in front of me and then I read somewhere that meditation seems to take your negative emotions to surface and if you do some heavy workout or excercise than the enegy seem to diminish ..have you tried vipasana meditation

    I am a dam issue by myself. Western Society. Always looking for more. I do not need to look for more, if I truly look and meditate and heal from within. Thank You. My system at this time is a bit of a mess. I have chronic pain. "RSD". I have found Sadhguru to be refreshing. I would like to thank the Isha Foundation for giving me hope for which I have been given none from Western Eyes. I wish we all could understand that we are all connected and no one is more important than the other

    Actually there are two ways of Inner engineering program, one is you do all the sessions including Shambhavi Maha Mudra in an actual class and for this it is 7 days program but for Online class you complete the 5 days online (but according to your pace) and then 2 days it is Shambhavi Maha Mudra initiation therefore a total of 7 days. Therefore please do the program, listen to the ways of life Sadhguru teaches you in the sessions as it is important to experience joy within you. Pranams.

    I was skeptic of meditation. But after just 4 weeks of non stop meditation more than 3 hours a day. I saw glimpse. I stop because too much to take in. I got scared. Thanks for teachers. Their sooooo brave.

    • @vetegrodd
      @vetegrodd 10 лет назад +5

      3 hours a day nonstop during 4 weeks sounds alot. Just sitting there 20 minutes in meditation position is an eternity for me (I'm a newb). I could in an extreme motivated case maybe stretch it to 3 times a day, 20 minutes each.. maybe.. But that would still make just an hour total. How do you get the dicipline to do it 3 hours!?! Especially when having other things to do and being skeptic to meditation (which lowers the motivation) .. You are truly diciplined, did you meditate morning, day, night or when?

      vetegrodd you will have to change ur way of living while u r not meditating to deepen the meditation. Otherwise it will be like gaining something from 20 mins of meditation and spending it rest of the day. You will have to stop the leaks of energy happening thruout the day to advance more quickly. Even a lil bit of constant effort will take u much further and it will grow exponentially .

    Yes, do please meditate while dreaming. You will shatter all the boundaries of the dream and you have whole eternity right before your observation. It is very hard to concertrate on meditating while dreaming, but don't give up! I've managed to do it twice - the third time will be the point when all my dreams are not part of me, but a alternative mind reality.

    when I first started meditation I would hear the ocean and also as if I could hear space not that I know what it sounds like but it was very relaxing. I would feel my nervous system adjusting in a way and when I was done I felt like I was just rejuvenated or something it was great.

      Yeah thanks for expressing that, now I know I'm not the only, once I do mediation I feel the bliss of waterfalls, the animals, the trees, it's peaceful, a times I Wld be in a desert, then seashore.. N once I was in the space,.. So I decided to only focus on my breath in order to stop mixed up energies, it's what I'm practicing now 5 mins every morning.. Just breath in n out.. Im new to mediation, I'm notso sure abt how it's done bt I go with what I think n feel.. Sit still in one position, balance my body, close my eyes and focus on my breath..

    Yea, you get more out of life only when the perception is enhanced. Anmar Puri commented, "... When the Individual understands and knows " Aham Bratahmashmi ", I am a Spirit soul part and parcel of the Supreme Brahman then only the blissful meditation begins..."
    My experience is that intellectualising concepts do not get you anywhere. When the mind is at complete rest things happen. Bliss is the foundational state, the platform, of these happenings. I teach meditation with or without mantras to get to that state. I don't even know I am in bliss. People ask, "Why do you smile like that". I don't even know I have been smiling. Like Sadhguru says bliss, or meditative state, is the result of a process. The process has to do with the management of the mind. Many people need to start with management of the body first (to get the hang of things). Once you know HOW THE MIND WORkS you can create many ways to get to that state.

I joined gym recently and i was kind of moving on with my life but still i find something missing, maybe it is within my mind "a dark side" i guess. Now i'm thinking to start meditation. Hopefully it'll clear up this darker side in my mind and stop it from heaving out of my body.

    Controlling the senses, and the mind in meditation you can focus on the self, or atman, which is eternally blissful. Having experienced that, one sees this universe is illusory and is thus, liberated from it.

    Buddha said nirvana is the end of ignorance greed and anger.Very few actually realized the very subtle meaning of this. You are exactly who you are just without ignorance greed and anger in nirvana. You are not in a mystical state or become one with self or atman or in bliss etc. Nirvana is totally different than what mystics describe it to you.. A mystic has to drop his mystical identity to realize it. Mystics are in a dream world..They think they are enlightened yet they are far away from it.

  • @shriamarpuri

    Three miseries, Adhiyatamik, Adhibohtik, Adhidevak are always present. The only way to bring the body and the mind on a pleasant situation is to know and understand that you are neither this Body nor the mind but a fragmental part and parcel of the Supreme Brahman. When the Individual understands and knows " Aham Brahmashmi ", I am a Spirit soul part and parcel of the Supreme Brahman then only the blissful meditation begins and thus, starts realizing ones' own constitutional position with the Supreme Personality of Godhead as per the Sastra, the Sadhu and the Guru.

    Hi Thanks for your question. I am disciple of Sadhguru and have completed all the yoga meditation programs that he offers and I can authoritatively with my experience say that there are different levels of consciousness and there is kundalini energy lying dormant with in every human. If you have the interest in awakening this energy and experience the different levels of consciousness and the bliss it brings with it, you must do online "inner engineering" program. Let us remind ourselves, if you are seeking, that the direction to keep in mind is " body to the spirit " and not " spirit to the body" The western world tends to take the easiest way, however, "life does not yield itself so easily." That is why it does not work for many who seem to seek the easiest way in.

    • @wetalkinb0utpractice
      @wetalkinb0utpractice 8 лет назад

      Can you expand? I'm interested what you mean by "body to the spirit"

    • @johnsaintnic1524
      @johnsaintnic1524 8 лет назад

      +wetalkinb0utpractice It's hard for me to explain because there is no one definitive answer, however you can explore Yoga. Through the practice of Yoga you will realize how beautiful and nice the world really is and not how the media, with all its negative reporting, portrays it to be. Maybe I'm allowed to say to you that "the source of any of your problems is just yourself and nobody else." Be it in health, emotions, living in life etc. If you do the right things, right things will happen to you.

    • @wetalkinb0utpractice
      @wetalkinb0utpractice 8 лет назад

      +john saint I appreciate the response. I've been reading the Bhagavad Gita lately and I see correlations between what you're saying and what Krishna says in the scripture. I feel that my goal since I was a child, even unconsciously, was moving beyond the negativity of the world and the veil of I guess what you would call Maya to that which is within and beyond all beings and things. I think I'm on the right path for me, I just have to keep moving and keep acting in the right ways.

    • @johnsaintnic1524
      @johnsaintnic1524 8 лет назад

      +wetalkinb0utpractice Can you "teach" a plant how to grow? Is what I'm seeking right now. As you mentioned you're on the right path, however,where does the path go when the path actually stays put. By changing my perceptions towards life, little by little I'm realizing the difference in what is human being and human acting. Sadhguru talks about these in many of his RUclips videos.

    • @wetalkinb0utpractice
      @wetalkinb0utpractice 8 лет назад

      +john saint it seems as though all of nature just "is", it doesn't think about what it's doing and it all just sort of flows and happens. Humans are definitely part of this natural process, since it's all ongoing action, but I think our minds sometimes get in the way of things, as great as a gift as they can be. When we lose ourselves in our actions, especially selfless sacrifice and serving, that is when we become one with the process that's occurring everywhere at every moment infinitely; the cycle repeats itself over and over again. A plant can't be taught to grow in its specific way, just as a person can't be taught to grow in his or her own specific way. All beings are part of this process with absolutely no exceptions. Sadhguru doesn't even label himself as an adherer to any one religious or spiritual tradition because he realized years ago that "All paths lead to Me"

  • @Swastika1994
    @Swastika1994 12 лет назад

    It is the natural state of the Atman. Not of the body. Because you are in a physical body you have forgotten your true, blissful nature and you engage in acts which make you happy by satisfying the mind and senses, but that brings suffering. When you realize the Self it is pure joy. Bhagavad Gita 14.27 - "And I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is immortal, imperishable, eternal, and is the constitutional position of ultimate happiness."

    Thank you sir. I've registered for the online class. However, the Shambhavi Mahamudra Program being offered is only for 2 days. Is a 2 day program sufficient? Thank you.

    I can understand your comments . It's all good. now days words has lost its original thing. we calls strangers , customers, colleagues by the words such as "darling" ." " love" " honey" " "baby" " sweet heart'........!!!! ;-) we lives in a such a commercial world. even now day's "Mothers" have a price tag!! . thats why "mothers day:" came up!! if you don't get some thing back, you give nothing !. its all prospecters world. "prayer " has become a "prospectors demanding form the universe ."!!!

    What is this? I've never heard of this yoga system. Yoga means union with the divine, or in other words, self realization. Different paths of yoga are sankhya, bhakti, jnana, dhyana, karma, raja, hatha etc. The purpose of yoga is to control the sense organs, including the mind and abstaining from any kind of mental gratification. This pineal gland thing is something of that nature. You are pleasing the mind. With yoga, you are supposed to renounce all desires for mental or sense gratification.

    The natural state of the Atman IS. It is always there and has always been there. Whether I have known it or not does the change the fact that that is the natural state of the Atman. I could go into more philosophical explanations here.

    smoking weed defiantly damages the system. i didnt want to accept this after smoking weed for so many years. but after starting shambavi mahamudra smoking weed defiantly made it nearly impossibly to transmute sexual energy upwards. not while high, while high its like it was easier than ever. but the following day it was so hard just to get it going. weed smoking far n few inbetween isnt so bad but being a pothead will kill the yogic process
