THANK YOU! I Have been irritated with my timer switch for the last 9 months. I couldn't find the manual that came with it. Doing an image search on Google brought me to your video. I can now enjoy my outside lights again on a timer that is not messed up. Thank you for your clear instructions
Sort of. If I set fixed on/off times it works, however, the setting where it is supposed to adjust daily on/off based on sunrise/sunset does not. The light would go on way too early and off way too soon. Tried multiple tricks with setting the region and even setting a "dummy" time of day to compensate. I eventually read a review somewhere where another disgruntled buyer called the manf, and they flat out told him the timer is bad and to take it back to the store.
I can now confirm the Dusk-2-dawn works fine, 1 day after programming. It drove me crazy, the day I set it, it would not work that evening. Even 'lights on' override wouldn't keep the lights on. It would switch off after 1 minute. But the next day it worked ok. Note - in this video during her 'astronomic' explanation she has the switch turn on at sunrise, and turn off at sunset for some odd reason.
Usually the good explanation is how to go back and correct an entry e.g. the confusion is how to go back and reset the start time or end time if you made a mistake. Going forward is a lot easier than editing an entry.
Anything that requires you to watch a RUclips instructional video to simply program your timer is problematic right off the bat. Why didn't they use the same technology in simple digital clocks that automatically puts the current time on every time it gets plugged in????? Why doesn't it utilize voice command or a simple sunlight/sundown button that keeps things to a bare minimum and not waste time watching this video 37 times?????? Seriously?!?!?
This is the MOST frustrating product I've ever bought My wife is really pissed off with the programing instructions ,I wish I could find someone to program it for me !
Poorly programmed timer. I want it to change with the astronomical time when I'm gone for 2 months. I set it to the astro time and it goes off, even though it's during the programmed time to be on. It takes a day for it to work. OK, I push the on/off button and the lights stay on for a minute and go off. I changed Mode to on. Tomorrow morning I'll change to astro time again to see if it actually comes on at 5:08. I'm not betting on it.
If you are programming for the same on /off 7 days a week, why when you finish does it go to Event 2? and when you try to get out of it - the damned thing goes back to setting the Year Month, Day and Time. Also at the 2:37 mark when they start explaining the on off for the timer she is hitting buttons left right and center, For heavens sake guys get real!!
Your video started out pretty well. As you got to doing the programs, it got confusing, especially watching your finger pressing all the keys way too fast to see what was going on. I know you were probably trying to be brief in your video, but the latter part of it just became jumbled for me.

We've had these timers installed for 2 yrs. Could not get them to work. All we wanted was on/off same time every day. Just saw your instructions. Thank you!
Have fiddled with both my timers for at least 2 hours and still couldn't get them right. Your instructions were PERFECT! I am having your instructions laminated and tossing out the one that came with the package. The video is only partially helpful. Surprised the company hasn't updated. They at least should put your instructions in the package with your simplified instructions.

Great video. Bad product. If you are experiencing issues with this product, you are not alone.
Mine hasn't worked since Day 1. Just re-set and started over thanks to this video. We'll see if it works!

How do I change the PM/AM part after setting the minutes on the time?
@@lilemoxd2384 I feel your pain. I was able to set the time but programming the thing is a beast. I'm ready to to pull it out of the wall!!!
You are good at explaining but I’m lost about the setting of daylight savings functions I don’t have my instructions UGH
This video is most helpful! Question: I pressed reset and the timer went blank. The lights r on but I can’t shut them off. Help?
I wish I had thought about how big the display is when I bought this. I'm really having trouble reading the thing.

The clock is slow on mine. After a month or so it will have lost 30 minutes of time. Anyone else have this problem?

I agree, way to fast to understand what you are trying to demonstrate.
Yes, absolutely too fast! When one does not understand what they are doing, you need to teach, not talk at them!
