IMPORTANT NOTE: when using the “my on time” and “my off time”, you won’t be able to select an on time that is prior to the current time. Won’t work that way. For example imagine you want your Xmas lights to come on from 4pm to 10pm and right now it’s 5:30pm. It won’t work. But if it’s 3:50pm and you select 4pm on and 10pm then that will work as you will see 10 minutes later at 4pm the lights will turn on and at 10pm they’ll shut off!
Thank you. I was just struggling with that. I think the answer, if you must have it on until the clock rolls around, is to use the countdown function for the one time and then come back after your off time occurs. Also, inform family members that unplugging the timer has serious implications for domestic tranquility.
To get your lights to turn on instantly when you set it to My On Time @ 4pm and My Off Time @ 10pm when it is actually 5:30pm, make sure they are set active (blue lights showing on) and then calculate 5:30pm (or whatever time it is) to 10pm... which is 4.5 hours. Now activate the Countdown Timer (button is in the lower right corner) and set it to 4.5 hours. Your lights will come on instantly and after 4.5 hours they go off at 10pm. Then the next day at 4pm they will come on because your My On Time is set and active to come on at 4pm. This is how I set mine up the first time for my Green House. Lights on @ 7am Lights off @ 3am But it is actually just after 1pm. (about 1:20pm) So with my On and Off timers set to active (Blue LED lights next to the switches are on) I then activated the Countdown Timer (the lights came on instantly) and I gave it 13 hours. My greenhouse lights will go off about 2:20am. Tomorrow they will come on based on My On Time at 7am and go off at 3am, then continue that cycle. The Countdown Timer only runs once as it is not a cycling timer. Hope This Helps
This was a great GREAT video! Thanks. I have had mine for the porch lights for a year now and no problems. I just cant figur out how to use the second outlet. Any suggestions.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I thought I set mine correct yesterday and was so upset and frustrated when my lights did not come on. So thanks for your demonstration!
This is what youtube used to be about. Sharing information and connecting people with similar interests. Appreciate anytime someone takes the time to put a how to for some obscure item such as a timer I didn't purchase but stopped working while housesitting. 😳
Ive had both lights on and it didn't turn the air conditioner on. the window air conditioner's lights turned on, it beeped and turned right back off. What does the countdown button do?
I have to wait for mine to dry out before I attempt to reprogram it again, it got waterlogged and the screen is foggy. I have it in a bag of rice at the moment. FYI they are not waterproof.
Most of these timers don't last particularly long, especially if exposed to a lot of moisture, humidity, and heat with no chance of drying out in storage containers. That being said have your tried resetting your timer?
With these timers, you have to specify a "time on time", and a "time off time". If it doesn't turn off after 24 hours, it could be that a "time off time" hasn't been specified.
I could not get to work.because I did not know it had to be plugged in to outlet you are going to use then set.Blue lights would not come on wich I assumed. Did because digital works unplugged Once I plugged in blue lights appeared. Working
is there a way to set it for 5 mins on 30 mins off, or something similar ? Thank you for the video, this was a very easy to understand explanation :) -stay safe out there ✌❤
Hit my countdown and set for the amount you want the timer to turn on. It will shut off when your time runs out. I use it when i want a fan[ex] on but dont want to reset the "my times" on top.
Thanks for trying to teach, but to be honest, you're not a good teacher. What about the other buttons? What are they for? If you press the automatic button, will it shut off or chat or thank you for trying

Thank you! I'm trying to use this device again after not using it for a couple years and this was very helpful.
Excellent job! It is very thorough and easy to get it done per your instructions. Thank you! 👍
Very helpful. Thanks for adding the note about the reset button. I didn’t know about that and couldn’t get it to work at all
For the winter, I just set it to 6 pm to 6 am but this spring I wanted to change it but lost the instructions. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much😃 You made this super simple and is much appreciated 🙏
I use a timer just like this to make sure I don’t overcharge. My scooter works great.
Thank you for the video. I made that same mistake lol. Appreciate your help.

Great 👍🏾 video made nice & simple 😊
Omg thank you so much for making this tutorial so easy 👍🏼👊🏼
Great video, you helped me a lot.😄😄
The indicating blue light means it’s armed and ready to rock.
Got it on one shot. Love the vid. Thanx a million
U know this was a huge help. Ty
@@mrmouse-ol9pw very happy to hear it!

My controls were frozen until using reset. You might need to do this if, like me, you had the unit in storage and not used for a while.
Thank you so much it worked.
Very helpful, thank you.
Fantastic video, Thanks
Thanks for the help.
Very helpful! Thank you.
Thanks. See you next year!
Is there a way to add two custom times? Like in the morning from 6am-9am and in evening 6pm-10pm?
If you use the 5 PM to 12 AM feature using the on button, do you have to set the off button?
No you don’t. As long as you have set the clock to the correct current time. Then just make sure the one green light next to 5-12am is on.
That’s all.
So can I have it set for 2 custom times through out the day?
Thank you so much, you made it super easy. I will definitely subscribe to your channel.
Very helpful thank you👍
how long does the ‘’my touch smart ‘’ last ??

All of my settings work except the My on Time and My off Time. It worked last year but now out of storage that timing feature seems broken.

That was very helpfull. :)
@christhemstead The time will pop back up after a minute or so by itself.
How do you manually turn it on?
🙏🏽❤thank you!!!!
You are the best
Does it have to plug in to set the time and schedule the time?
Yes you want to have your timer plugged in. It does have brief memory in regards to what time it shows but it is very brief.
How do u turn it off after christmas??Christmas??? Will it keep running?
Just press the time one and off buttons once so they are no longer glowing or just unplug timer if you don't need it
Thank You, their web site has no instructions and all other videos are not "how to set" instructions.
If it’s the first 24 hours and hasn’t turned off is it because of the cycle ?
With these timers, you have to specify a "time on time", and a "time off time". If it doesn't turn off after 24 hours, it could be that a "time off time" hasn't been specified.
I could not get to work.because I did not know it had to be plugged in to outlet you are going to use then set.Blue lights would not come on wich I assumed. Did because digital works unplugged
Once I plugged in blue lights appeared. Working
Is the digital screen backlit? It kind of looks like that one is, but mine definitely isn’t 😢
Yes
can you set two different time zone since it has two places on the bottom to plug your lighting?
no
Is this weather proof? E.g. can I leave it out in the rain without it getting damaged?
Yes it is designed to be used outdoors. That being said I don't recommend using them beneath sprinklers that are shooting water up.
Mine doesn't do anything when I plugged it in. It won't let me even set the time. I'm gonna toss it in the trash.
Have you tried pushing the reset button?
is there a way to set it for 5 mins on 30 mins off, or something similar ?

This timer is best suited to longer periods and ideal for lights.
Thank you🥰
Excellent.
Thanks!
What is the countdown feature for
🙌🏼
👍
I see the time but none of my lights power on?
If the time on and time off light indicator isn't glowing blue then your timer is not properly set. or you may have mixed up your am and pm times.
Yes😊
What about "My Countdown"? That's why I came to this video. Smh.
Hit my countdown and set for the amount you want the timer to turn on. It will shut off when your time runs out. I use it when i want a fan[ex] on but dont want to reset the "my times" on top.
Spanx!
