This was a great video! I am happy that you showed both sides without interjecting your opinion too much. Thank you for showing the science. Whatever the case, I healed from a years-long chronic disease that kept me bedridden, at one of his retreats. 100% remission in about 30 seconds during a meditation called, "The Breath". I have not had any symptoms since. His teachings worked for me and many other people I know. The science he teaches is sound. I agree there are a few things that are speculation but every new science throughout history starts with speculation and theories. I love the fact that many Universities are studying his work and releasing scientific papers, including The University of California. Thank you for including that part. The work is also changing the lives of Prison systems.

Great video. I do his meditations every day and have been to a retreat. It has transformed me as I am very peaceful and happy 99% of the time. I look much younger. Zero negative side effects. Any new path or philosophy will have naysayers. And if it changes people to become calmer, happier and friendlier and creates great communities, It will only make the world a better place than it is now.

I checked out Professor Patel’s study as cited here. It’s a small study with no real controls the conclusion is that the plasma from meditators may have an affect on the defence response in cultured lung cells. My question is what has this got to do with what Mr Dispenza is asserting.

I’ve figured out these things when I had to heal subluxated atlas that I did to myself after my father passed. I the c1 pressing on my brainstem putting me in a chronic inflammatory/hyper sympathetic state. So I studied how trauma works and how the subconscious is mind body complex is one and it gets quantum. I ended up healing myself doing very similar practices I figured out with the meditations, law of attention visualizations, Biology of belief by Lipton type things and it was all the same as what Dispenza was speaking about and writing about. What many don't know and what Dr.Jo doesn't talks about is that most of his knowledge he's teaching is coming from his time at RSE. He started decades ago as student of RSE and became later one of the most likes teachers at the school. Later when he started on his solo teaching path and wrote a book, without mentioning his in his book, the school called him on it and told him to mention it to all or getting kicked out of the school. He was not only no more a teacher at the school but was kicked out completely.
So almost all of what he's teaching can be traced back to his time at Ramtha School of Enlightenment.

I think peak Alpha in QEEG and Gamma spikes in the real-time EEG of meditation sessions are the best EEG markers we have for now related to how meditation changes the brain. I am going to be looking more into Black Body Radiation to see if there are better ways to measure electromagnetic fields that are put out by the heart and the brain. Conventional science would say that they are there but not extending 3M away from the body...

His techniques won't work without some very fundamental spiritual concepts found in most religions such as no extreme attachments to the ego, self, or little me. Also, a sense of presence and gratitude beyond time, space, and self will. No lustful desire and obsession with change. He admits and teaches this. People avoid this part of the training and end up worse than they started, in fact they go crazy. You have to be fairly healthy mentally. He admits, material will not make people Happy.

You make a good point! I know my meditations improved when I was able to resolve some guilt I was having about a relationship.

    • @OptimindUnlimited
      @OptimindUnlimited 6 месяцев назад +1

@@CodyRallMDyep, resolving guilt for better mediation is a good example but it was discovered that type of chsnge is just juggling content of consciousness in its same form rather than real transformation; for example, it's not long until guilt becomes desire, frustration, anger, whatever. I worked in the industry, wrote a couple books, trained thousands and I'm telling you all the gurus know that people won't listen to a certain truth, are not serious, and want to be entertained so they might as well be snowmen and help a few where they can. A good portion of the positive activity is placebo, and the rest is just moving some checker pieces around in the head. The breakthrough is known by a few and there is a tremendous opportunity if someone could actually communicate it to the faint of heart without selling out. It will happen someday before humans destroy themselves lol.

Great video Cody, good job presenting both sides. As I said in my prior comment on your second to last video. His claim of a 0.1 hz HRV is almost certainly tied to the meditation they are instructed to do which says 5 seconds breath in then 5 seconds breath out. Try other rates of breath and you will find they directly correlate to the corresponding HRV. Besides the claim of 0.1 he specifically being tied to some resonance field of Gaia (which I feel is an unnecessary overreach) I have absolutely no issue with most of the other controversial things I've heard him say.

Also Cody you might be interested in the following papers, Interacting spiral wave patterns underlie complex brain dynamics and are related to cognitive processing, and, Mysterious Spiral-Shaped Signals Detected in The Human Brain, I'm of the mindset that the vortex' are the bridge to the global quantum field. They couple through the hyper toroidal moment into the background field which is the origin of the "cosmic background radiation". I can give more papers to support this hypothesis if your interested.

The Stoyan Sarg's BSM-SG model has a very clear physical theory behind this, but even I struggle with constructing a sensor. Fun facts, it predicted everything contemporary science was buffled in the last 20 years correctly. Age of the universe, super massive earth core, irregular asteroids, galactic red shift. It's very complex, but not that hard to understand - Stoyan Sarg is 200 years ahead of our ignorant present

  • @gregorbingham

My experience with objective measurement (EEG) and subjective measurement (experience of meditation) seems to always bring up the concept that proof is always 3rd person and not 1st person, until the theory becomes either established fact through enough longitudinal peer review or debunking through that same process. Meanwhile people who are attempting from a 1st person experience to 'check' a creative theory are I think not handled quite as well as they could be by 'the academy'. Is there such a thing as a 'scale' of believability for science? It might be useful. Thank you for this objective review. For me I think he is approaching it wisely, and the language of claims are potentially communicated a little too 'scientifically, as proof'. Which makes it slightly religious: you'll believe it when you feel it. etc. Anyway, fascinating.

Whilst I am sure that some of his claims are not robustly evidence-based, there seems to be quite a lot of evidence for wondrous spontaneous remissions including in the area of near death experiences which have been substantiated by medical professionals at those events, as far as I am aware.

I’m aware you’re trained by western medicine, as myself. Yes, prior to entering the medical field, I studied eastern medicine, along with other forms.
Joe D.’s information he shares is not new information, rather has been around for a long time here and in other practices world wide. He didn’t discover anything new, rather neatly packaged lots of data to introduce it to the main stream.
You have to seek to find. Realize American medical practices is not all there is. I’m sure you are aware of the hierarchy of research, publishing, and what’s accepted and not.
We must open our minds to not criticize, condemn what we do not understand. Instead, be willing to ask questions that allow us to discover what else is possible.
There’s a reason new wine, cannot go in old wide skin. ❤
