Hey just bought one and used your code
$1500 and a subscription. Piss off.
Focu calm i have paíd lifetime suscription and doesnt work. Could you send any other email than suppor...
I bought one at the end of November, am 3 months into using it now and just completed the first mission. Definitely sleeping better and more focused. It was hard work for me at first, but in the last couple of weeks i have found it quite easy to drop into some very nice clear states of focus and relaxation like the ones i used to achieved in a Thai monastery, without having to go deep into myself and be away from the world. Highly beneficial, I rave about this thing. Everyone should have one!
As a past monastery resident volunteer, I think you just sold me on it.
just passed the one month mark with this device and ended finding it valuable enough to keep, and i say that as it literally being the most expensive thing i own. really love it
Good to hear!
Great post Cody, looking forward to trying one of these
I hope you do Dr. Chris!
Glad to see you finally tryed it. One of the best aspect of SensAi is the stimulation function (particularly in the Gamma range) that has very percivable effect, different to the effect of the meditation neurofeedback practice. Great video, looking forward to hearing more from your experience with it over time.
Thanks Qigong! Nice to hear you are having perceivable effects as well! Have you tried the Muse? How does it compare to Sens.ai for you?
I have OSA & believe that getting the right sleep architecture is key-Stage1,2,3 REM. Looking to pair a dreem2 like eeg and my Masimo W1 to get off CPAP.
@@CodyRallMD I have Muse 2 and had a Focus Band before that. Also used a NeuroAmpII for a few months. Focus Band was interesting as it allows to move while doing the neurofeedback, good to use with Qigong practice. Probably limited in its accuracy but a good entry level tool. I also particularly like that you could see a numerical value for your baseline and adjust it manually or let the device adjust it automatically. IT gave you a better idea of how your practice was evolving.
Muse was good, particularly to use with Mind Monitor to see the raw EEG but I didn't use it as much with the basic app. The main issue I have with the muse software is the inability to know what your baseline is. It makes it hard to know where you are as you start your practice and where you are at then end.
NeuroAmp was a lot more complex to use du to the electrodes but didn't seem to have a big impact overall. By the time I started using it, I already had a good level of practice and it seemed to be more distracting compared to my personal meditation practice without it.
I think the combination of Neurofeedback, photbiomodulation, and ERP makes SensAi more complete. Particularly if you compare the neurofeedback alone with using the stimulation first followed by the neurofeedback exercise. People should also know that some features will only unlock as you progress in the game/storyline, giving you a deeper experience the more you use it.
The friend who recommended it to me was working at 40 years of Zen and is well versed in Neurofeedback. He said that SensAi could do about 80% of what his 20k machine would do there. So for serious user, the 1500$ price tag is pretty cheep.
How’s that monthly subscription?
@@CodyRallMDplease answer my message regarding lifetime suscription on focus calm, have paid and doesnt work and they dont reply my emails
Always having great content!
Thanks Gilrose! Have you tried Muse or Sensai? Which would you try?
@@CodyRallMD The key to great "mental Health" is getting the proper sleep architecture -REM, 1,2 & 3 stages at sleep. I have OSA & using a CPAP. Looking to get off CPAP by weight loss, positional sleeping & HIIT. Looking to pair a Dreem2 eeg like device to work with my Masimo W1 O2 watch to get there. High quality sleep is key so you don't really need to meditate!
Great review! Would love to hear your thoughts on how this device compares to something like Myndlift. Thanks!
I was looking for something like it for some time. Your review is very revealing. Thank you.
Thanks Alex, what did you like best about it?
@@CodyRallMD Mostly the quality and positioning of the sensors and the photobiostimulation - as you pointed out in the video. Also the system that tracks and analyses the data generated in the sessions, which can give us a sense of progress and control over the process. Just to illustrate how important that is, let me share a recently experience: I used to mock my brother who uses one of those fancy exercise watches (not Samsung, but good) - "Tough guys don't need this" lol. Boy, how wrong I was. Recently I spent a week with him and we trained together. It's amazing how we can control the rhythm (real time), evaluate the effectiveness of the training session, keep track of our progress and plan the week schedule based on real data. When you described your six month usage of this product I could relate to my experience and with the expectations I've been accumulating with this sort of equipment. This one went straight to my wish list. Thanks for your work.
How long are they taking to ship now?
I use my SensAI every day and love it. ❤❤❤
That's great to hear!
Will you review Frenz band ?
Love your work
Thanks Luna! Have you tried Muse or Sensai? Which would you try?
@CodyRallMD i was recomended Muse gen 2, but considering sensai, price.... is relative, depends how you value the results/tools that you get from it.
I could never get it connected. I wasn’t satisfied with the companies response. Buyer beware
Haven’t found a comment on that, but wondered if you repeat the flanker test on a regular basis, shouldn’t that specific practice improve the results already? Does the company have a strategy to mitigate practice effects?
You mean the genius pulse evaluation? That only becomes available after you finish missions (a program created based on your evaluation results), which take weeks to complete. So you don't get a lot of chances to practice using the genius pulse device.
An excellent review thank you very much. I have been using ERP diagnostically and in research, and I think this is a very promising development. Also I agree with you that the water electrodes are not a problem.
Could this replace the Muse headband or is there an benefit in combining both with daily practice?
My Muse VS Sensai Comparison video is premiering this Saturday so watch that and let me know what you think!
@@CodyRallMD awesome! Looking forward to this… subbed.
What wearable device would you recommend to monitor HRV with this? Oura? Apple? ect.. Thanks
in another video he said whoop is best if you're specifically focused on HRV
It monitors HRV in the app itself
Do you still use this? If so what is your process? What is your meditation protocol
stimulating the brain with light seems like a new thing, and while there may be positive effects, could there be potential unintended side effects? For people with some mental conditions, for example, could it possibly make things worse for them. I wonder if this device should be sold with a warning and if people with mental conditions should check with their psychiatrist or other mental health professional before buying that device.
Good concern but I am not aware of any near-infrared stimulation causing psychosis or other conditions before. It seems like flickering lights through the visual system would be more risky, especially if you have a history of epilepsy. I am a psychiatrist and would have no problem recommending this device to my patients in regards to concerns of side effects. A review of the literature seems to yield only positive benefits to those with MH issues to red light exposure through the scalp and really no mention of side effects other than mild scalp skin irritation in those systems with higher power (Not Sens.ai, more like iRestore for hair growth)
So do you like it better than the Mendi and the muse?
Sensai VS Muse video is coming next week and I also made this video: ruclips.net/video/zwebuYKZtRo/видео.html
This has been on my wish list. Thank you! The Brain Tap stopped working week 3 and had terrible service (so I did return it) so I've been hesitant to order this. I'm very interested in the Roxiva so trying to decide if I'll just keep saving for it instead. I've loved the Muse, but I broke mine and open to leveling up. Appreciate your videos.
Thanks for watching Kris! I'm glad you found the review helpful :)
What would be the difference with the AI headphones? Do you have a preference?
Is this similar to neuroptimal?
Hi Joseph! Just in terms of the neurofeedback part, but I think Sens.ai has a lot more to offer like the photbiomodulation and ERP testing
Not even close. Neuroptimal is a two channel NFB unit that reduces the variability of certain brainwave amplitudes. Experience has shown its good to reduce anxiety but not much more. Plus overuse (>30 or 40 sessions) can lead to lethergy and the blahs (medical term). Hope this helps
In terms of it being an overpriced, black box, one size fits all, limited use application of neurofeedback technology? Yes.
Is it better than Mendi for attention?
I tried it for 3 weeks. It was the same thing every day and boring. I saw no difference in sleep on my oura. I felt no difference. They were great with the return just wish they would've helped me make it work for me. No real support accept the return process
That was my experience with other devices as well, when you ask more specific questions or how to actually can help you, they can't answer and you are essentially bound to return it. Thanks for chiming in.
Do you have a regular meditation practice? Like I said in the video, these devices tend to potentiate/enhance a skill set that is already there.
@@CodyRallMD when you are meditating, things are getting better with or without these devices. The point here is that their effects are really miniscule and should be much better.
I am happy to buy $1,500 device that will help me focus and work better, they just need to match this excellent hardware with better software for example.
Thank you! Finally someone elbows through the paid affiliates to recognize this device for the utter SCAM that it is! Three weeks?? I've stuck it out for *three months * with this FRAUD of a device -- and no, it STILL doesn't work. I could wear a fruit basket on my head and get the same results. If you are watching this advertisement, please save your money, Dr Cody doesn't need another commission from this.

Ok dude, let’s get serious. When are you going to try the god helmet.
the posts on reddit aren't so glowing. Hard to know what to think.
Science science sience joe dispenza science science science....
The price is ridiculous for what it is capable of 🙃
This seems to take meditation out of it's traditional context of attaining Tao or Union with God. It may increase focus and cognitive efficiency, but it also seems to block, rather than connect you with anything a traditional meditator might call spiritual. I suppose if Tao/God are just superstitious nonsense, this this technology is amazing. However, Tao/God may exist and this seems like dead end at best and a block to spirit at worst, instead of a short cut to enlightenment. Whatever, what do I know....
1500 bucks........how can anyone even afford it?
Credit card? Just kidding, don't go getting into debt just to get this device. I am sure some people will be able to afford it, but with that price it is not for the average consumer for sure.
Keep checking eBay. That is where I bought my Muse
