@@RuslanVideoFilms very helpful. I wonder if the cleaner will still work if you can’t remove the sensor component from the housing. For example, spraying through the plastic outer housing.

My clip actually broke as well so the sensor part keeps coming out… did you end up buying a new piece or just keep the silicone tape ? I’m just wondering so I can save a few dollars

I kept the tape. I’ve periodically checked it and it holds great.

The MAF unit in a 2016 Cayenne does not have the torx screws which allow remove of the sensor. Seems you must replace the entire unit… msrp 244 usd

oof. Good to know / be fore-warned about the Porsche tax. 🙏 MAF is one of the few things you don’t want to skimp on, should buy OEM instead of aftermarket because aftermarket are rarely as accurate and lead to problems.

@@RuslanVideoFilms I think there may be a defect in the MAF units used in the 2016 Cayennes for US. When misfiring begins and auto start stop disables itself, I get a check engine light. After codes are cleared the issue goes away completely for about 6 months. Porsche service has never suggested replacing the MAF, even though codes state MAF issue.
