The 2D Zelda prototype of BOTW would make an AMAZING game!!

Literally. Combine the revolution of BOTW's gameplay and put it in a Link to the Past/Between Worlds type of world; and you have a game that's easily on par with BOTW and TOTK.

Would love a spirit track/phantom remake or a remake of the oracle games. Fingers crossed.

2D Zelda deserves more than just remakes. It's far past time for a brand new 2D entry IMO, so I'll be pretty disappointed if the next 2D Zelda they announce is another remake. Personally, I wouldn't want a sequel to FSA, because Triforce Heroes is already the most recent 2D Zelda and I'm much more interested in single player in general.

Hear me out: Remakes of Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks in the BotW engine.
Seamless transitions between boat/train travel and land areas, vehicles customizable like Ultra Hand, and traditional dungeons.
They would be whole open worlds, and the New Hyrule map in its full glory is something I would love to see.

I would also love a Spirit Tracks sequel where it becomes a plot point where Link needs to retrieve the Master Sword from the ocean floor.

I just want to say thank you for using the Four Swords Adventures Lake Hylia theme!!!
Personally I really want remakes of Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass so they can get the proper exposure they deserve.
I also think Multiplayer Zelda needs to come to Switch since it would really benefit from the accessibility. I'd prefer Triforce Heroes but Four Swords Adventures is amazing too!

One other plot point that I would love to see:
Have Hilda and Ravio appear to help a Hyrule using their Triforce in a world where a Ganondorf pulls a Thanos and wishes the Triforce destroyed after having his own wish to rule fulfilled, essentially the opposite of ALBW.

Links Awakening 2019 outsold other 2d and a few 3d Zelda games, hitting 6m. They brought back 2d Mario and Metroid with Dread and Wonder. It would be silly to say 2d Mario and Metroid have possibilities for market potential while coexisting with their 3d counter parts but 2d Zelda does not.
