- Lies of P was my most anticipated game of the year and it exceeded my expectations tbh. I haven't been this engaged and hooked on a game since bloodborne. The platinum journey was fun but painful. Hope you enjoy!!

Believe me. Ng+ and ng++ is much easier, but you need create good build.
Actually the platinum in itself is pretty easy to get compared to other souls games but the first playthrough was really hard.
Yes,it's very hard,but when you get new phases and more buffs,you are op for the things
A legit platinum involves 3 playthroughs, that's ng+2. Have you tried Nameless o ng+2?

Do you play your souls games with a guide? Then sure you Dark Souls will be easy but try without it...I would rather fight Nameless in ng+2 than grind for the covenant items
God I love this game so much. I'm not big into the souls genre nor do I think I'd even heard of this game prior to it getting released, but I tried it on a whim just fell in love with it. The music, the atmosphere, the astonishingly appropriate adaptation of Pinocchio lore. THE COMBAT. Handle-head assembly, grindstones, legion arms, the bosses. Everything is just so so good in this game.

I honestly didn’t expect to like this game. My thoughts were “oh yay… YET ANOTHER souls like” But after playing it on and off for a few days I eventually got hooked and ended up getting the plat in about two weeks.

The only weaknesses this game has are the exploration and parry window. Other than those two things I think it's close to a masterpiece.

I congratulate you for your big job. It should be a huge pleasure to play that game with all the voices in his mother language. I am french and unfortunally there isn't french voices on this game (not like on Bloodborne), except that beautifull song of the 30tine years, that is very emotional like the rest of the game. This game made me crazy like you. And like you I have platined the game (and even level up my character to the maximal level at each attribut). I love definitly that game, even if I hate his dificulty ;)

I’m considering going into NG++ for the final ending just cause if my pride, but I’ve endured way too much pain to get this far that I’m considering using a back up save

The black rabbit brotherhood is single-handedly keeping me from playing this game a 3rd time. Whenever I want to play it again I think of that fight and immediately the desire leaves my body
you need to buy 5 thermites and just chuck them at him, while your specter is keeping him distracted, and then finish him off with a couple swings, i said what you said but i tried what i just told you and if you do that then its the easiest boss in the game and should take you about 55 seconds to beat him. just keep your distance from him and his siblings. you got this

Its so weird seeing a spector i just assumed everyone played it solo it wasent till after i beat the game all my friend's and youtubers i saw were using summons
True. I used the summon twice in my first playthrough. The first one was before the Scrapped Watchman because I didn't know what this pool of blue water did and then with the first Black Rabbit Brotherhood fight because I was mad. In the 2 and 3 playthroughs I didn't summon anything.

I’ve just returned to this game after completing it day one….yes day one. Honestly I love this game, I’m now on NG+5 and honestly it’s still so much fun
Yep - that's why I saved the worst ending for last, so I wouldn't have to fight that puppet on NG++. Still man, be proud you did it legit. Most people just cheated with a save backup so they only had to beat the game twice, instead of 3 times :).

I have beaten the game 5 times and getting all achievements, and I can honestly say his reaction it's so relatable lmaoo
The visceral yell I let out when I finally beat the Puppet King. Woulda thought I scored the winning goal in the World Cup.
I found it far easier than DS1 and Sekiro. Sekiro especially. There's no summon to help you, no overleveling, no changing weapons, etc. You either improve or you won't progress in Sekiro.
Lies of P allows you so much freedom (which I actually love) in weaponry, handle changes, defensive parts, and quartz upgrades that make it easy to mold P into whatever the boss encounter requires. That makes it one of the most accessible Souls-likes.
The only boss that I got stuck on was fricking Laxasia, but I think that goes for most people. All of a sudden you're dealing with a boss that goes airborne when the rest of the game had none of that.

I played the demo so many times. I love this game its very interesting
this game was so much fun and I' haven't even played any games like this in a while where i was playing many many hours and found it much more fun than ds3 or sekiro.
Honestly I died more times to the police officer puppet boss more than any other in the game 😂though he did teach me the mechanics and I felt a lot more confident after killing him.

I've never lost to Murphy once in 4 playthroughs, Laxasia took me like 40 tries on NG lol
@@braxinIVto me laxasia was very easy compared to simon manus Im telling you simon is the hardest boss I've ever fought in any souls or soulslike game and nothing comes even close It took me HUNDREDS of death to beat him I even tried it with the summon which made him even HARDER I would get closer to beating him without the summon than with I mean you'd think the summon is there to help but for this boss I really do believe it makes it actually harder because his attack range is huge and he WILL hit you even from behind and if his attacks aren't directed towards you its harder to parry or dodge them. Laxasia was decently hard but not that bad honestly but this simon manus guy is so hard but like he feels hard for the wrong reasons and is so deceptive too you think you got and open window for attack welp no get destroyed he doesn't stop attacking and when he does well hthe map will attack you
damn you did it with barely any parrying. this game kicks your ass pretty hard if you have too much dodge muscle memory ingrained into your brain with how much it incentivizes parrying

Ain’t no way I did the exact same thing, beat orphan 2nd attempt with the whirligig saw. That was 2 years ago, and I’m finally replaying the game currently
@Frozenstone72 did it without the saw. Moon light and beast blood, with a little help from the blades of mercy

I’m sure you’ve already heard this a few times but you should really try to incorporate more perfect blocks into your combat. Not only is it really fun, but it gives you back health and contributes to stagger. Definitely play how you want to though, glad you enjoyed the game as much as I did
This was my GOTY. I've just got the bad ending to get, but I want to save that third playthrough for when DLC comes out.

Both them bosses after the puppet King are so easy. With the Grim Reaper, looking weapon, you can stand behind a pilar and heavy attack through it

I kept putting this game off because I knew all the achievements meant 3 playthroughs. But once I started, I couldn’t stop. Happily did 3 back to back playthroughs. This was my game of the year.
I platinum’ed it last night, the only I was missing was the weapons collector trophy. The rest was done by like 3 or 4 play through because I needed to open the final p-organ. Compared to Elden Rings platinum, this was a breeze

he is pretty trivial when you understand how bad his tracking is. just strafe/dash diagonally to the right and he probably will not be able to hit you
