As someone who recently platinumed the game, well done. I got the rings all myself and frankly, I'm jealous that you had friends to help you get them all. I also have a goal to platinum every fromsoft game I can get my hands on, and I started with ds3 and Bloodborne, so I'm hoping things get easier from here.
The dark souls series itself are the hardest imo due to covenants the the grind linked to those. It doesn’t favour people who play offline like me. Sekiro has a bit of a grind after 3 runs but I don’t think it’s 6 hours. Er is very fair. Demon souls is a tad annoying based on world tendency but can be handled within 2 game cycles
Bloodborne and Elden Ring are pretty easy to platinum, Dark Souls 3 was just too much, mainly grinding all those Covenant Items was just too much of a pain in the ass. I haven't played Demon Souls or Sekiro yet and I don't have a PC or console older than PS3 so I won't be doing Dark Souls 1 and 2

As someone who has over 1500 hours on each souls-born games, you are gonna suffer so much man, especially that you started with the faster gameplay of ds3, going back to the old games well have its effects.
ive put over 300 hours into this game, learned the lore on most if not all bosses back when the game came out. Soul of Cinder adopting Gwyn’s moveset shows that Soul of Cinder truly is the combined entity that is everyone who has ever linked the fire. It’s so beautiful. I like to think since it’s his exact music and his moveset, that Gwyn is coming out to test you one final time. So cool
to simply put it .. this game is so freaking good. The bosses, the lore, the feeling of triumph after hours of defeat.. All souls games share these but DS3 is my favorite game ever.

I can still vividly remember going through the grinding juggle fest of making sure I found every obscurely hidden, quest driven, and time sensitive ring, spell, and gear collectible in 3 play throughs. Only to realize at the end that what I was missing was a goddamn gesture. I then had to go through a 4th play through just to get to farron keep and summon yellow finger heysel all just to get her stupid proper bow emote lol.

So for farming the stuff from the silver knights. if you equip that covenant’s item and farm them you will get summoned to help other players to kill invaders. That will speed the time up to get those proof of concord kept

I on my way to platinum this again since I lost my previous account with the trophy I still remember plenty of the game and most secret stuff but I’m still afraid of the farming that was painful in the first time but it doesn’t matter to me I love this game
It took me about 5 days to get all the covenant items. I couldn't play multi-player so I had to get all of them offline with the lowest drop rates. It was hell but damn rewarding in the end
After playing this and finishing the story in PS4, I took the DVD and broke it into two pieces, so I don't ever have to play this again... I'll never forget, what this game did to my brain...
Honestly I think having 60 fps on in console for the new demons souls and elden ring has been a game changer with these. I used to struggle heaps with ds3 just because of the lower frames, attacks are telegraphed so much less which makes them way harder to read. This was fun to watch👌
I got all the achievements in Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3 and I think 3 was not only the most difficult but the most time consuming. I didn't have access to other players who could drop me rings so I had to beat Nameless King on NG+2 for literally one ring and it was one of the most intense boss fights I've ever had. I also farmed every covenant item which took FOREVER.
Nah, not only your character but all other lord of cinder who rekindled the flame. And you can clearly hear the plin plin plon in phase 2 that's the evidence.
I’m so glad FromSoft got rid of this nonsense in Elden Ring. They got rid of all the “find all the rings”, “get all the spells” etc. just a total grind that IMHO isn’t worth it. 😊
I remember renting this game from the redbox and never being able to beat the tutorial boss, i was always so close but he just smack me and id die but 12 year old me loved the game even if i couldn't beat it

Going through my covenant farming OFFLINE.. it is hell. I have a 99 LUK, Symbol of Avarice, Crystal Sage Rapier, Covetous Gold Ring +3, and its' been over 10 hours i think. Just 10 more Vertebra Shackles and I'm done
Farming those covenant items was torture. The Kingdom Hearts games and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night have similar RNG-based farming systems for crafting and they all take as long if not longer than DS3!
surprisingly I had a lot of online activity which prevented me from farming items offline, killing some of the hosts and their phantoms was sometimes hard

To be fair the twin swords is one of the most overpowered weapon in the game...especially for PVE , good job though for platinum that shit is a grind
