- Nioh 2 is finally here on the channel and this platinum was insanity but I loved it. I really hope you guys enjoy it! :)
Nioh 2 combines role-playing and hack-and-slash gameplay, with the player having access to multiple weapons including various bladed tools and bows. A core aspect of Nioh 2 revolves around stamina or "Ki" management and different sword stances that are strong or weak against different enemies.

thats how those heavy weps feel at first impression, until you learn out the necessary skills and moveset to bear along and make up for the speed they dont have like most other weps, still follow their principles tho where hits COUNT and are harder
yeah but the axe can wreck bosses within 30s or 1min if u have specific build,is strongest weapon in the game in term of ki damage

Going to say this as someone who has platinumed Nioh 1&2 twice, the actual best weapon exp grind is the DLC mission "against all comers", you can master all weapons in about 4 hours

What's the point of that? You master the weapons fast enough just playing the game. I hit the exp level cap way too early as it is, I have never done any grinding.
Just go to way of the nioh you level them up in a few minutes then by going to that castle with lady osakabi

Yatsu no kami, the third boss took me 86 tries on my first playthrough lol, didnt even know i could destroy the serpent statues.

Played it a lot back in the day and even got to the highest floor in the abyss. Never got the platinum to this day.

I played the first nioh but i just couldnt get into it i have beaten every souls game but man nioh i literally couldnt beat the second boss and i gave up
@@germanstormtrooper2298 the thing most players struggle with is the Ki mechanic. It takes a bit of time to get used of the rythm that you need to press a button so you can recharge your stamina.

@@optimistichuman just looked up what trophies I need. Turns out I did do the platinum back in 2017. Havent done all DLC trophies though and Nioh 2 is only at 62%

Had such a blast with the two Nioh, especially the first one! It's only after defeating the vampire lady boss and beginning the water boss level that I started to say: "ok, now, I'm getting the hang of this complex game!" 💪
The castle escape to the tough Onryoki demon to the vampire lady was actually the whole tutorial! 😜

Great video! Just as a side note, if you wait until NG++ or so you can get the mystic art proficiency in like 1 mission per weapon. Waaay less time overall to do it this way
He was playing on PS without dlc so he only had access to DotStrong. Also he'd have been mad tight about having to get to the end of DotD and make a half decent build for Against All Comers if he did dlcs.

Kudos for getting yet another Plat. Nioh 2 is proudly sitting on top of the list of my favorite Souls games (tied with Sekiro and Lies of P). It doesn't get better than this, and looking at Team Ninja's recent releases, I doubt it ever will.
Also, it's one of the worst games to start for the sole purpose of Platting it. The mastery of weapons achievement is designed to give you enough motivation to play the optional missions, replay the main missions and enjoy the end game over hundreds of hours.
It's sad that you didn't get to fight Saito Toshimitsu which IMO is the hardest boss in the game.
I would argue that Hayabusa is the hardest boss in the game tbh. Yoshimitsu is the hardest boss in the main game but with the dlc Hayabasua is a bit harder.
@@drunkinoni1902 Oh, I absolutely agree. Ren Hayabusa, aka Mr. Ninja Gaiden is essentially the Malenia of Nioh 2 😄It basically transcends to an absurd level of difficulty and still kicks the behinds of people with a couple of thousand hours in the game.
When I mentioned Saito Toshimitsu (not to be confused with Saito Yoshitatsu), I meant the optional human duel boss you find in the online mission, "The Chinese Bellflower Dagger." It is unlocked very early on and recommended for level 65. It separates boys from men 😅 I wish OP had a chance to try that.
@@Dr.UldenWascht yeah both of them are pretty hard. Yoshimitsu still kicks my butt sometimes depending on what build I’m using. And Hayabusa is just pure BS.

funfact: in nioh1 you have to do all missions to get the platinum, however twilight missions also count and they cycle once a day, so getting the platinum would probably take about a year in real time, not even i have the platinum in nioh1 for that reason, i do have every other trophy tho.

Funny thing and an outright reference, in Nioh 1 and 2, you can fight the ancestors of Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of the Ninja Gaiden games. You can even get the armor of the Hayabusa Clan ancestor, as well as the Dragon sword, Ryu’s main weapon in the 2000’s run of the series and in the 2nd Nioh game you get those, as well as the talons, claw weapons from Ninja Gaiden 2. It also allows you to do one of the most iconic and overpowered move of all time called the Izuna Drop, which makes you send the enemy in the air, JUMP AND SPIN SUPPLEX THAT MOTHERFUCKER ONTO THE GROUND AS IF YOU WERE ZANGIEF

You’re forgetting the DLC man! You get some of the best gear, weapons, & sauciest movesets from them!

The umbrella enemy is actually based off a Japanese demon and yes it's actually an umbrella (I find it very weird)
I'm only missing the weapons lol bro this game breaks you best way to play one to search discover and play the story mode then lvl up and grind out that was my strategy any way kept me from breaking my controllers haha..
