History is like too much of an obsession of mine, hundreds and even thousands of dollars sunk into real weapons and correct impressions, stay frosty reenactors, you are needed
You should do more historical loadouts! maybe an American Vietnam loadout, soviet red army loadout, or even a british WW2 loadout.

Putting old military sets back together takes ages and costs a TON of money. In the two years i've been collecting soviet sets (some 5 hours of research a day) i've finished 3 kits and spent some 2-3 thousand euros on them, and they have a lot more value.
I wish WWI Airsoft was more common. And I'm doing 4 simple-ish loadouts Comrade Senpai, 2 U.S. WWII Rifleman, 2 U.S. WWI rifleman.
you know what would be cool? Bolt-action Rifles only Air-soft. as a matter of fact: Basically Air soft BF1. everyone gets out into a team and given a Uniform depending on which factions they are put in (they also can only use weapons that are historically related to the faction) Gas grenades could just be green smoke grenades and die if you get touched or breath in the smoke. Im not really able to think straight forward rn so maybe someone can touch up on my idea...?
That is a great idea. It is to bad most people don't have bolt action weapons
I actually play something close to that in my backyard, everyone uses spring only rifles, and semi auto, pistols or airsoft revolvers, and everyone stays in one spot that's their "trench", and they try to pick each other off with their guns.
I've been working on that of course it will be small(6v6)
I'm working on trenches with friends. How it's going to work with the uniforms I'll be making them but they have to buy the materials for the uniform. I'm going to supply them with the rifles.

Outstanding loadout! Highly detailed and feels very plausible in historical terms. I'm thinking of making a Finnish style loadout, so what is it like to wear all of that wool during action? Does it get too hot after several games?
It's wool. I wouldn't run that loadout in specific unless you run winter games.

I had the spring shell-ejecting DBoys one. It was pretty fun. If you set yourself up in a good position and have someone guarding you, it's actually easy to get some decent ranged kills. That and fieldwerks makes a nice rubber k98 bayonet which I used a lot.

@Tomos Ap Llewelen but America never lost any of there battles or there trenches to enemy forces and never surrendered plus ever heard of the title devil dog the Germans gave that title to the Marines in ww1 because they fought fearsly and never gave up or surrendered and also ever heard of the Harlem hell fighters who never lost a man or gave up any of there trenches yeah guess what they were us troops and all allies except British Indian and Italian troops we're all at a stellmat and when the us got over there we relieved the pressure and broke through and the French army said since we were so fierce two months over there would make us look like we were there since the begining of the war so if you have any facts to reply back to me on I'll be waiting.

KaiserRolls Chicken Those were more of a British French and American thing, the Germans used riding boots
The Germans did use ankle boots and puttees during both World Wars, but always a bit after the war began. But yes, the British puttees probably inspired the Germans.
@@Antiganos Americans used early model m1904 leggings in ww1 and model m1931 leggings in ww2 the only concept of Americans wearing puttes and ankle boots was if they had left the us and went to the UK to join the war since America didn't join until 1917 and arrived early 1918.

Not exactly. In WW1 the Germans usually used the Gewehr 98 but also the K98AZ. The WW2 K98k is a different weapon.
