I do not see how. Star Wars stomtroopers were pretty badass, and they missed mostly because they were told to. Now, They couldn't kill the main characters as they have plot armor.
Well their primary function on the battlefield was to storm enemy bases, not with elite shock troops mind you but with wave after wave of men because the Empire has so many soldiers they don't really care about high loses. I would say they are pretty well named.

The stormtrooper was a unit meant for raiding and breaking through the weakest point of the front causing the Entente front to start moving units making a small portion of time where the line is less organized as they move to block the hole in the line
Germany didn't start WWI but because of Otto's unification of Germany 50 years earlier central Europe was a powder keg and Wilhelm II was playing with matches. Austria declared war on Serbia because of the assassination, but Germany was already wanting a fight to expand the Reich.

One thing that didn’t make it into your video that I think is important to keep in mind, is that by the end of 1918 many sturmtruppen units were almost completely wiped out. The sturmstruppen of the Kaiserschlact suffered horrendous casualties, one of the reason many of the later operations failed is many Sturmtruppen units were reduced to skeleton paper units filled with wounded and exhausted men.
One big reason I love Star Wars is how much it feels like a space ww2 movie I know this a a ww1 video but as the video said there were stormtroopers in ww2 but it’s amazing how Star Wars feels like ww2 with the troopers, some of the helmets, and guns look very similar to ww2 weaponry
I'm fascinated by shock troopers. It doesn't matter their nationality, the Italian Arditi or the German Sturmtruppen are both amazing. Their style was in my opinion the precursor of the blitzkrieg tactic.

My great grandad died in March 1918. Private james Moultrie HLI. My ears pricked on hearing the time this new tactic began. He was probably victim to new tactics.

Fun fact that nobody seems to understand: Flametroopers did not wear gas masks in combat. They would use their gas masks just like any other soldier, (when gas was present). This is a HUGE misconception that flametroopers would wear gas masks, but it was actually pretty rare to see one in a gas mask whilst using his flamethrower. A more accurate depiction of soldiers wearing gas masks would be the German soldiers in the Second World War that recieved Panzerschreck launchers (which were very rare, and also an experimental prototype that was never launched into production due to economical complications at the end of the war), which required the soldier wear a gas mask and gloves while operating. But literally, flametroopers did not wear gas masks like they are depicted to.
It seems you guys dont know that the stormtroopers from starwars were "copy" from the german stormtroopers. They were the basic idea behind the stormtroopers,because the allies were terrified if the stormtroopers got into their trenches.
Before a sector of a trench was attacked by stormtroopers, the germans fired a short, concentrated artillery strike at the defenders, so they were confused and less effective at defending the position

A "complete" one would be hours long, even a "complete" guide of let's say German WW1 gear and uniforms ONLY video would be at least 2 or 3 hours long. The topic is just too big to cover in 1 video. I've been reading about German WW2 gear for 3 years now, trying to get to know everything about it and there always will be some stuff left to discover, these topics are huge.
check out Ernst Jünger's "Storm of Steel". Jünger was one of the most recognized and well known Sturmtruppen veterans of his time, he got wounded countless times and always survived. Also he was one of the finest gentlemen Germany ever had.

The stormtrooper was a unit meant for raiding and breaking through the weakest point of the front causing the Entente front to start moving units making a small portion of time where the line is less organized as they move to block the hole in the line

Germany didn't start WWI but because of Otto's unification of Germany 50 years earlier central Europe was a powder keg and Wilhelm II was playing with matches. Austria declared war on Serbia because of the assassination, but Germany was already wanting a fight to expand the Reich.
Serbia started the first world war.

One thing that didn’t make it into your video that I think is important to keep in mind, is that by the end of 1918 many sturmtruppen units were almost completely wiped out. The sturmstruppen of the Kaiserschlact suffered horrendous casualties, one of the reason many of the later operations failed is many Sturmtruppen units were reduced to skeleton paper units filled with wounded and exhausted men.

One big reason I love Star Wars is how much it feels like a space ww2 movie I know this a a ww1 video but as the video said there were stormtroopers in ww2 but it’s amazing how Star Wars feels like ww2 with the troopers, some of the helmets, and guns look very similar to ww2 weaponry

That's actually true, considering Erwin Rommel was part of the Stormtroopers during WW1 and had adapted their tactics into the Blitzkrieg in WW2.

My great grandad died in March 1918. Private james Moultrie HLI. My ears pricked on hearing the time this new tactic began. He was probably victim to new tactics.

Fun fact that nobody seems to understand: Flametroopers did not wear gas masks in combat. They would use their gas masks just like any other soldier, (when gas was present). This is a HUGE misconception that flametroopers would wear gas masks, but it was actually pretty rare to see one in a gas mask whilst using his flamethrower. A more accurate depiction of soldiers wearing gas masks would be the German soldiers in the Second World War that recieved Panzerschreck launchers (which were very rare, and also an experimental prototype that was never launched into production due to economical complications at the end of the war), which required the soldier wear a gas mask and gloves while operating. But literally, flametroopers did not wear gas masks like they are depicted to.

It seems you guys dont know that the stormtroopers from starwars were "copy" from the german stormtroopers. They were the basic idea behind the stormtroopers,because the allies were terrified if the stormtroopers got into their trenches.

A "complete" one would be hours long, even a "complete" guide of let's say German WW1 gear and uniforms ONLY video would be at least 2 or 3 hours long. The topic is just too big to cover in 1 video. I've been reading about German WW2 gear for 3 years now, trying to get to know everything about it and there always will be some stuff left to discover, these topics are huge.

check out Ernst Jünger's "Storm of Steel". Jünger was one of the most recognized and well known Sturmtruppen veterans of his time, he got wounded countless times and always survived. Also he was one of the finest gentlemen Germany ever had.
