Probably the best, easy to follow, money saving, lure making vids i`ve seen and all using easy to source materials.......fantastic !!!!
I love my lure fishing and will definately be making some spinnerbaits, instead of paying a fortune for them.
The mackerel feather type lures etc...... could easily be used/adapted for perch, zander, pike and chub,on an light lure or fly rod.

You, sir, are a magician. I usually tend to search Indonesian you tube channels as many people there live under extreme poverty and come up with ingenious ideas for making lures, rigs, and floats. Unfortunately, I can’t follow the language. Thanks for publishing your unique solutions without expensive machinery

Cheers Dave, i bought the split rings from my local tackle shop which was complete surprise as he never normally has much in that line, every time i go he tries to sell me carp gear, but i cannot't complain he gave me feeder a rod this week. Often I buy from ebay, a lot of small tackle shops use ebay to sell stuff.

I saw many different techniques to make spinners, but none wore elastic fyber of ropes, this is an excelent idea, because even you make the spinnerbait, adaptating hook, wire and the spinners, anyway you had to buy the bristles.

Use the Texas Rig "weight trick." When you're fishing in heavy cover we stick a toothpick inside the same hole as the weight to wedge it into place.

My motivation for making things has never been to save money or time, just out of interest. In the UK spinnerbaits are rarely stocked by tackle shops, my local shop doesn't keep them and the next nearest charges over $10 per lure.

the wire is .040" S/steel and 8" long, in the US i would guess mudhole, jannsnetcraft, barlows, lureparts, ebay . Alternatives are S/teel mig or tig welding wire if you know a welder

Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

The only difference was is it was a little bit smaller because I didn't put it up to size and I used a bullet weight and I cut the tip off the nose of the bullet weight with the wire inside and I was able to pass the wire through but it works thank you

because they have no action. they're good for little finesse jigs and stuff but for a moving bait such as a spinnerbait a regular skirt gives it a much more lifelike swimming action
