    All I can gather from all You've said is that Australia is better than Canada. I found out that the only difference is that getting Australia PR is harder than getting Canada PR.

    Hey about the Calgary weather, your skin gets dry because of its low humidity in the winter. Also the water in Calgary is considered as a hard water compared to Vancouver where I live which is a soft water (same with Melbourne).

    I agree about not having to pay import tax in Australia. Shocked that employers can choose to pay superannuation in Calgary. In Australia you don't choose.....it's a must. Insurance premium is also unbelievably high in canada.

    • @bekind4313
      @bekind4313 2 года назад

      Employer Superannuation is not mandatory as Canada has national pension plan (CPP) where the employee contribute half through income tax and the employer contributes the other half. Australia does have a public Age Pension plan as well but it is means-tested, therefore you may not be eligible if your assets and savings cross over a certain limit (single $593k, couple $891k). But In Canada you will receive the pension at retirement age regardless of how much you have in assets and savings. It is debatable which system is better but the CPP has the advantage of the govt with skilled team to monitor the pension growth where in Australia, employees will need some level of financial literacy to understand and manage their own retirement accounts and the level currently appears to be quite low.
      With regards to insurance premiums being high in Canada that is also comparing apples to oranges. For example car insurance is higher in Canada on a monthly basis BUT in australia it is mandatory to have Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP), is a type of insurance you are required by law to have in all Australian states in order to register your vehicle.
      So you are required to pay a big lump sum at the time you register your car. On top of that you need to get comprehensive insurance seperately, that is why monthly premiums are lower in australia bc 3rd party has already been paid in the beginning. In Canada you get the entire insurance on your own through a private insurance company. In the end it worked out to be the same amount we pay every month for car insurance when comparing living in both countries.

      It is a shame that you took to softly throwing a jab at my minor mistake; 'followers'. I had just finished watching the Arsenal vs Liverpool match and was lost in discussion with two of my pals when I wrote that comment on your video, but alas, instead of responding to my questions, all I got was a subtle mockery.
      It was a mistake I commented in the first place.
      Thanks for the mockery.
