  • I'm so excited to chat with a gorgeous young lady who found success at the age of 27. Scottish singer, songwriter and musician, KT TUNSTALL initially gained worldwide acclaim with the song 'Suddenly I See' but as you’ll hear, she's come an awful long way since then. As KT and I catch up, she's in the middle of dying her hair grey. Initially reluctant to appear on camera, she finally agreed and I can't believe how amazing she looks. It’s an intimate chat about her life, her loves and her incredible music. What a sweetheart!

Been a huge fan of KT ever since I first saw her perform “black horse and a cherry tree.“ I thought I’d never be able to see her perform live, but because she moved to California and I live here, I finally got to see her live in concert! Going to see her again this November! She has so much talent that music just oozes out of her!

Hook-up with some bloke from the USA
Get someone to scratch your back?
    f^^k it,

I am a giant fan of KT, she is amazing and I highly recommend everyone seeing at least once. She is pure joy. I have to say I could not deal with the editing of this video. The amateurish clipping 2:39 (instant end of a question, snap to the interviewer posing with a tilted head, snap to KT) Even I had to give up in this...

I agree. I can't wait to have grey hair. But some guys judge women grey-haired women.

Great interview! I had the chance to see KT in a small venue many years ago in Philadelphia pa. US. I knew that I was witnessing pure 'music magic' at the time and I appreciated every minute. Your description about the need for clarity and simple solitude is very refreshing to hear, it's also great advice. One of her songs 'Silent Sea' helped change perspectives for me in many areas of my life. KT is an authentic person and her soul shines bright throughout her music. Thanks KT for sharing your talents with the world. 😊

YES. I try telling people that ages ending in 7 are the hard ones cause it's the soonest you can say "I'm nearly 30/40/50/..." glad I'm not the only one.

I played at an open mic today and I accompanied someone who played a KT song!! Wow! I fell off the KT wagon a couple years ago (youtube innundation) but today I had to catch up!!! So here I am. Consequently I cut and ate fresh pinalple today (my fave..the candy of fruit) and maybe thats why I got a bunch of compliments on my voice. I also have tinitus and love adding to my repetoir of excuses (you can never have too many). I always thought saying I had diareah worked well, even if it was a lie...who's going to challenge you on it...but I like the tinitus excuse!! Unfortunately I heard that it can drive you nuts after a while...BUT guess what!! TOOO LATE!! Been there, done that, nuts already!! Great interview...Tapadh leibh

Mark sorry. I've pulled the music out of the interview, that's why it's choppy, Why not head to my website www.abreathoffreshair.com.au and listen to the whole segment? Or listen to it as a podcast? Apologies again!

They're always selling their souls to the devil. They all talk about this. Just slips it in there like it's no big deal.
