Outro: Vivaldi - Winter Mvt. 1
Hello, I'm Rousseau, I make piano covers of classical and pop songs with a reactive visualizer. New videos every Monday and Thursday!
#Rousseau #Piano #PianoCover
Vivaldi's Spring. Capturing the sounds of bird songs, flowing streams, and even a thunderstorm - it's hard to believe this piece was written in the early 1700s. Although setting a piece of music to a story (known as program music) had existed in some form long before Vivaldi, it only reached it's height in popularity over a century later - and imitating the sounds of nature largely came into style during the 20th Century. It's amazing to think how ahead of his time Vivaldi was. Hope this piano arrangement of Spring brightens your Thursday ♥
😍😍😍
wtf its summer in India
Well... we got winter and now spring, guess summer is the next one hes playing (if he plans to play all the 4 seasons)
Better than violins 🎻
Rousseau Will there be sheet music for this piece?
Crazy how my brain pictures butterflies and junk. Vivaldi knew what he was doing.
Ahh butterflies and junk, the epitome of spring! :P
@@Rousseau That's awesome,Rousseau,I'm making a transcription of your arrangement of Sunflower. When I'm done do you wanna look over it to make sure there's no errors.

Wow i see his vids so much
Here's why you should practice your Chopin Etudes: 1:20
Here's why you should practice your Liszt Etudes: 2:34
You mean La Campanella ?
Weird flex but ok
Chopin : It's okay, I'll guide you. Please don't stop smiling. Please don't cry. Piano is for fun and enjoyment for the pianist and the public, okay?
Liszt : That's how it's done. I'm not giving a crap if you can't do it. Music is all for the public, and I, Franz Liszt can entertain them. Can you?
@@bhooshanpandit1344 Its probably every piece of hin xD
I' m amazed thinking that we're still listening a 300 years old music
The truly amazing thing would be if people are still be listening to 2020 music three hundred years from now.
@@lomax343 depends on whether you're talking about 2020 pop songs or 2020 music by famous composers like Philip Glass or Hans Zimmer
miracle
Krishna AND John Williams with music from Star Wars of course.
Thats the definition of being inmortal
to think that Vivaldi wrote 4 seasons and played it for the orphanage he worked at just makes it all more beautiful
Is that true???? Omg cause that’s just the best thing I read in a while 🥺😭♥️
@@serenesoul50 Was actually the orphans that performed it. Vivaldi was one of the music directors at the orphanage that trained girls to a high musical standard. He composed much of his music for them to play. It was situated next to a church on the edge of the riverin Venice. My wife and I went to a concert in that very place recently in Venice and heard the entire 4 seasons played in situ. Undescribable!!
@@philedmunds5559 How beautiful...
I never knew that! That's so nice!! It does make it better :)
@@philedmunds5559 Oh yes! I've heard of that! It's nice that he took in orphans and taught them the magic of music :)>
you can see why this is not meant for piano lol, some crazy awkward trills (using both hands) you've had to come up with to perform it on just solo piano. I have never heard it like this though, its wonderful to watch and listen to, really well done.
@@windmillwilly that's very random
weird for sure but still not crazy enough
No shit Sherlock
crazy awkward? that’s that not even hardest part 💀 hungarian dance no. 2 has way more crazy trills and it was meant for piano
@@troy-vt4qc do you mean hungarian rhapsody no. 2? If so, that's meant for piano to start with and falls under the hands much more comfortably.
This piece was meant for violin mostly, and they have a pretty unique sound. The fact that you were able to get the same feeling a violin makes with a piano is incredibly awesome. You´re an extraordinary pianist. Thank you for this :)
I think the music fits both violin and piano not just violin.
of course its meant for violin, it was literally composed for a violin, but that doesnt mean its bad on piano
@@trebleclef9844 my point is that violin and piano sound way too diferent. Violin has thousands of techniques, crescendos, diminuendos, whereas the piano has only pedals and dynamics. However Rousseau made Spring, Winter and Summer (idk if he played autumn), violin concertos, sound great in a piano
He is a great pianist
@@espumosoYT you clearly know absolutely nothing about the piano, are you telling me that piano has only 2 techniques? Because thats the most outrageous thing for a pianist to hear lol
@@espumosoYT also why would the violin and piano need to sound the same, thats literally the point of different instruments. Your saying it as if piano and violin sounding different is a problem
still can't believe that they canceled Vivaldi only after 4 seasons...

Tickles my ears like a hummingbird flying around my head. 🐦 puts a BIG SMILE on my face 😄💗💗💗💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜
There was a time where I sat in the passenger seat while my dad drove around our Country for two days. I somewhat heard this on the classical music radio. I seemingly started liking it after I started getting used to it by playing it with my piano at home. 6 years and now I’m back with nostalgia and memories. :)
I felt some Liszt and Chopin in that.

@Canc'y You can't feel real Vivaldi unless it's played on violin
haha derp 😑 i was early to this video, i listened to the song and wrote a comment before scrolling down, stop always assuming shit.

Oh my gosh. This has got to be my favorite of Vivaldi’s seasons.
Nah I love Winter
I imagine rolling green hills as butterflies dance in fields of flowers of all sorts with light winds before a light rain drizzles the land before the sun comes out again and glistens on the dew of the leaves and petals
This always brightens my day whenever I listen to it
My favorite in 4 Seasons and also I love Spring🌿🌸
This is amazing! Spring is my favorite out of The Four Seasons.
Winter is my favorite, then spring
春休み頃から4月になると聴きたくなる曲です。とても心地よい音です。ありがとうございました😊
Honestly I have allergies in spring and I hate spring but it is amazing how Vivaldi could compose such a song to make me like spring :)

300 years later .. one of the most recognized pieces of music.
Rosseau always plays the best arrangements
this is the piece that I learned to play as a child on my small violin and listening to it now, my fingers still subconsciously remember all the notes from muscle memory
this music played in my parents marriage. I obviously weren't there physically, but from what they told me and to listening to this song, I almost feel like I'm watching it happen, it's so beautiful.
This is picturing the spring in your head with the music. Amazing... And now, look at the society we are living in.
Antonio Vivaldi was a priest for a few years, but he was often sick. Everyone would wonder what was wrong with their “Red Priest”. Laying in bed ill one day, Vivaldi heard a gondolier singing about his true love, and turned to music. He opened Ospedalle della Pieta, a music school for orphans. Boys would learn a trade and leave at 16, while most girls stayed to help support the Pieta. The girls had an orchestra, which Vivaldi conducted. The best of them were in a special class, figlie de coro. He was a great composer who used his wealth to help others.
this is probably Vivaldi's most iconic season in his piece.
You don't have any idea how long I've been waiting for you to play this song and I'm not surprised that you did it absolutely flawless.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I don't think Vivaldi's summer section of the "four seasons" really fit summer, but he definately made up for it with the spring section. Honestly, I can't picture anything BUT spring!
I love the four seasons by Vivaldi no matter how it comes. It's gorgeous.
could you do vivaldi : the storm..... please!!

This piece brings me some good spring memories that I definitely didn't experienced.
I have loved Spring, of Four Seasons, since my 1970s teen years. This was the starting theme of the tv show The Four Seasons, made from Alda's movie of same title. I think the show was only on tv during 1980.

Wow Vivaldi is so good at it
Yes another iconic piece that no one knows the name.
Seriously? If you don't know Vivaldi's Spring, or even Summer, then you probably have no experience in classical music.
@@bhooshanpandit1344 Vivaldi's Spring is one of the most famous classical songs of all time. They are arguably Vivaldi's most famous works. Maybe since it is being played on a piano, it is hard to tell which song it is, because Vivaldi's Four Seasons aren't meant for piano.
