@@chad.alexander I don't think they necessarily make a lot but the people that watch fencing are most likely the affluent people and that's the point of sponsoring is to show off to buyers
This Olympics turned me on to the special watches that Omega makes for every Olympiad. I live in Southern California and now I’ve set my sights on buying whatever Omega’s 2028 Olympiad model will be as a souvenir after attending the event.
That's actually an awesome idea to commemorate going to the LA games! I might have to also take that idea when I go 👀 Omega has been an amazing sponsor for the Olympics, so well done!
For the Carlos’ Black Dial Day Date was the best watch along with the Omega Dark Side of the Moon and Chronoscope. I do find myself gravitating towards the Bruce Wayne, too. Cartiers and Patek also mentioned! As always, absolutely stunning video. 👌🏼
So many great pieces worn! That Chronoscrope is special 🙌 It's my first time I've looked into that piece, I loveeee the aesthetics of the dial. Also thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the vid !!
@@chad.alexander I know videos are going to be a banger when I hit like before I finish watching it. Premature liking 😂 Chronoscope crafted in stainless steel with a silvery dial with blackened subdials. Along with a black anodized aluminium bezel ring with its tachymeter scale, the leaf-shaped hands and Arabic numerals are also blackened, with a unique “spiral” track pattern running beneath the numbers, man it shows the details and thought omega puts in. $9,100 maybe a bit steep but still absolutely brilliant piece 👌🏼
I dont get Richard Mille watches, they are all the same shape, only changing the colors and pattern.... And for +300k not even in a luxurious métal.... The nautilus of Lewis Hamilton looks ways dopper
I’m not much of a fan of Richard Mille. It’s a nice watch though, just not for me. I’d rather have a Franck Muller tourbillion minute repeater perpetual calendar. I really like Lewis’s Patek.
Bro, he lives in Cuba, a communist country where he can't import many things. I don't think he has many options of watch. Additionally, many athletes are sponsored by watch brands, which is why they have the latest models when they appear in photos
@@XavicatNFT2 Fair enough. I have my dream watch, original movement, got it half price due to font change; £750, it ended my watch hunt, but for cheap as chips quartz.
Most of these athletes aren’t buying those watches - the brands are giving them the watches for the publicity and free advertising that they receive from videos just like this. Although many athletes can easily afford to own entire collections of expensive timepieces and never worry about the least bit of financial stress. Athletes salaries have gotten so outrageous that the days of successful athletes in spectator sports going broke after their playing careers is becoming a thing of past.
@@thebeerhunter98 Depends on the sport to some extent. If your at the top during your career in US sports then yes. I don't think a journeyman county cricket player would be, many have to do degrees to get a middle class career after retirement in the off season. The top cyclist earns 6 million Euro's per year, so lives in a large flat in Monaco, not a palace in Bel Air, that drops to 2-3 million Euro's for well known cyclists who perform but can't win, say, the TdF. Only a top UK footballer who spends his entire career in a top team can safely retire with £ 20-40 million in the bank, if they don't lose it through gambling or continued high living when the money stops coming in.
RM must be sponsoring those athletes right? No way a fencer makes enough money to be able to afford one.
He's sponsored by them but I'd love to know how much they're making... Has to be A LOT if RM is a sponsor 👀

Probably a gift

The dark side of the moon speedmaster details are so cool, gotta be my fav! 🌑
Very cool piece! I'd love to get my hands on one to see it up close
amazing content!!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy it 😀
Another Great Video Chad!! Keep up the good work greetings for the 🇬🇧
Thanks friend! I appreciate you watching from across the pond 🙌 🇬🇧
Was waiting for this video!❤❤❤ that RM sports watch is something I would wear!
Fantastic video as always, Thank you keep up the good work
Glad you enjoyed it! & thanks so much 🙏
Awesome video
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it 🙌🏼
Great video man, now there’s an event where almost everyone has good taste in watches lol, León’s omega is nice
Thanks brother! Yeah there was a good variety of pieces for sure 🔥
Best watch content on YT
I appreciate you !! 🫡
Both speedmasters (Dark Side of the Moon and Chronoscope) are beautiful.
Agreed! Both are super unique pieces, so we’ll designed

Im an Omega fan boy, but the Bruce Wane is stunning. I think it is my favorite from this list ex aequo with the dark side of the moon.
that blue bezel skeleton de santo is probably my all time grail watch
Kind of a lazy answer but it’s true for me, I’d go with the Patek perpetual calendar. I just love the look of perpetual calendars
Probably my favorite complication design is the perpetual calendar, love the aesthetics
My favorite, not considering the value, is the Omega Speedy Chronoscope.
I love that Chronoscope dial design!
Just from the title you know there will be lots of Omega watches.
HAHA yes a few 😂 but good ones! (I tried to not include too many)
Marchand's Omega chronoscope is a thing of beauty. If I had that kind of ridiculous money, I'd get that in the white/black/gold version.
The yellow gold version is STUNNING !! & the detail on the dial is just so good, what a piece 🤌
How much do they ask for it?
You can never go wrong with the Patek 5740
Never read a more true statement - what a piece 🔥
It seems like nobody wears Hublot unless they are sponsored by them 😂😂😂😂
It would not have been a photo finish if Noah was not wearing a watch.
The watch definitely didn't help lol
Wow 😮 that Bruce Wayne is Gorgeous!!!
2:11 😢
7:06
You forgot Nafi Thiam's Richard Mille, she just won gold at the heptathlon for the 3rd time in a row
Aw wow I didn't see it until your comment.. I love the colors of the 07-04 she wears 🤌

When you are in doubt if athletes make enough money, don't be in doubt anymore
Just in brand deals alone they get from social media is wild 💰
Please do for Shah Rukh Khan..
I swear that's my top requested lol it's on the list !!
Ambani’s watch collection when?
I would never ever pay 300.000 + for RM.
Djokovic, the winner, wore a Hublot 🏆💪🇷🇸
Was happy for the guy to complete his career with that gold 🥇 Alcaraz will get his one day for sure!
😍😍😍
🙌 🙌
Swatch!! OmG!
Love to see it!
Find the 365 days actor michel monroe watch in first part
Patek all the way!
Patek 5740 by far...
That thing is CLASS 🤌 mine one day
I’ve been watching the tv show suits, You should do a video on that.
So far I’ve seen a platinum Daytona, a Patek.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll add it to the list
🍿
😀
uuubuulo
😂😂
I knew Djokovic had no taste 😅
Swatch...Thats all I can get.
I feel you on that 😅
More money than sense, only the Cuban realized a sports career is short and dumping a house on a watch is pure folly.

Ew Djokovic
🤣🤣
I won the lottery years ago and I bought a Hublot as a gift to myself. I still wear it to let people know I’ve made it in life and I’m not poor.
