To get a Patek at retail…… good luck but if you can do it!!
Resale value is based on what someone is willing to pay usually, but with the Patek’s you can pretty much charge what you want because there isn’t many if any like that on the secondary market.

In regards to the two million dollar question, in today's world I will keep the two million, wear my Citizen, or Casio and be able to walk in the city without fear of either being shot or robbed for my wristwatch. It is a shame really.

Patek Philipppe Grand Master Chime over 1500 parts 20 complications especially if it took 100,000 hours over eight years to build by one of the most prestigious brands in the world founded in the year 1839!!! To me that’s the main reason luxury watches are as expensive as they are, the amount of time it took to build and the engineering will be there inside the case forever!! You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.’ I don’t have that kind of money but if I ever won the lottery I guess I would be willing to pay in the millions for that kind of watch I think it would hold it’s value ❤

My friend in NYC told me his dad (just passed) had a very old Patek that he bought in Cuba many many many years ago. Cuba! From someone and not not a store. A legit. A very simple Patek but it was one of Patek's oldest watches. I have always dreamed of owning even the cheapest but still I cant afford it. I will just keep dreaming. 🛌😴
