- Side 2 of the Supplement Tape.
"Frank Zappa talking to Co de Kloet"
"On October 26th and 27th 1990 I interviewed Frank Zappa in his own L.A. studio, the UMRK. In between the conversations which were taped by Menno Kalmann, Frank was working on a new Cd.
Every once in a while we stopped and had coffee.
After two days we had hours of interview and some exclusive audio material. This resulted in a 4 hour radio show called SUPPLEMENT for Dutch NOS radio, broadcasted on December 21st 1990, Frank's 50th birthday. This cassette contains material from that show and also some other stuff. We hope you enjoy it. - Co de Kloet"
Special thanks to Frank Zappa, Gail Zappa and Zappa records for the use of the musical fragments.

I love Frank Zappa. I have been listening to Frank's music since the very beginning and never strayed. The older I get the more I realize the Brilliance of this man. I'm so glad all of these new music reviewers on RUclips you're getting to experience Frank. It Thrills my heart to see the youngsters embracing Frank's music.
I interviewed for him in 68.' I was 17. I don't expect to get my tapes back. Who had more insight than Frank? Huh? This interview is priceless.
Thanks for posting!
Brilliant!
"product oriented" fz really knew his people to the details of language. theterm "product" is all over the place in every chenre right now. even sportsmen talkin about "dleivering a good product" when in fact they mean or talk about their own body work and mind. it really is "the torture" that "never stops" maximized for profits selfexploitation
Excellent !!!
fantastic interview
Thank you!
Frank was right !!!

Only 7 comments because people were to busy listening
It would be fun if we could hear from Frank about the current Republican party and the MAGA phenomenon. Only at a seance.
I think he would be disappointed with you.
That is the take you get from this? He disliked both parties, have you not even listened to his music?
This is 1990, two terms of Reagan, middle of Bush that is why Rep are the focus, if Frank hadn't die so early and this was 2023, he would have aimed at the Dems. He distrusted government, he distrusted anyone with power, that is what you are meant to take from this, not 'oh golly I sure wish I could hear him say things to confirm my beliefs about orange man.'. He would see you for the zombie he warned against becoming.
If you want to know what Frank likely would be saying now, listen to Thing Fish. (edit to fix typo)
He was against fascism and religion, Which is why he decried Republicans moving towards a fascist theocracy in a crossfire interview from the eighties I believe.
@@John_13_35 granted, when fascism actually comes into full power, it becomes antithetical to democracy, but your point still stands. ✌️
@@varsityathlete9927 Thing Fish. Otherwise you're spot on. Take good care and stay free.
@@DVincentW Thanks, fixed my typo.
Even now nobody is promoting music 🎶 🎵 but Ai -no human involved-music, giving music a bad name.
