This thing is fantastic, several days ago I have buy one of this kind model pistol crossbow, Ek Research Cobra System 80lb. It is not just a toy, in live it looks much serious than on the photos or vids. It is very good made, very powerful and accurate small crossbow. It is aluminum made, pistol grip and front-undergrip is quality plastic made, rear open sightis is adjustable and its on pretty quality picatiny, so its posible to add some Optic or RedDot sight. It cost me, with extra 12 arows+shipping, all abouth 40Euros. Till now I do soots only at 17m distance and it is very poverful and accurate, In the woods I will shoot at 30m distance coz i am sure it will be enogh power and accuracy for small game, even some midle game at 30m. Excellente survival tool, from now it goes with me on every camping and outdors, I am so impressed 👌
"Honey, did you get the hamburger for dinner?" "No, I got fresh salmon from Deep Creek!" "Wow, how did you do that??" "I used my pencil arrow shooter with some string!" "Darling, you're my HERO!"
I have ran at least 100 shots through mine with no wear on the string whatsoever. I wax it every ten shots and use rail lube on the track. Works flawlessly. I have the 80 lb and it will almost go through 3/4 inch plywood at 20 yards.
6 years ago I bought the Cobra pistol crossbow came with the 80 lb string. And in 80 lb pull bow. You can find a 120 Mini bow, as well as a string to match it and put it on the pistol crossbow shown in this video. And of course using hunting bolts with hunting tips increases the versatility of the tool
One thing to remember, not only do you need to wax the string, but you also need to lube the slide, just like full sized crossbows. Otherwise it tends to wear the middle part of the string down REAL quick. But they are fun. Thanks for the vid, even if it is a year old.
another bit of advice is to go over all the philips head screws and tighten them down. Most of the screws were loose on mine and I even had to completely remove the sight and reinstall it with the screws properly torqued down.
This is my first crossbow and I am impressed. Have previously hunted with rifles and muzzleloaders but never tried with a crossbow. All I can say is it is a fabulous weapon.

Hi Michael. I cock mine by pressing on a part that is long and thin on top at the rear end of the sights. To put the safety on after cocking push the little peg to the rear that is under the sight and is held in place by a thin curved piece of metal.. It is a peg that sticks out on both sides. if it is all the way back the trigger will not be able to be pulled.

Hey Tim here again do me a favor if you ever do reverse the prod that bow let me know how it works out ! They say it will up your poundage on the bow and it will shoot a lot faster ! bow
to string it easily, take a length of paracord and make a little bit longer (as in 2 inches) string with slightly larger loops. Put that string on and cock the crossbow. Now you can put the real string on easily without too much strain.

As don't get parts chipping if near the front.£26 I paid.with a free set of 4bolts.but I baught more expensive heavy type kind.80lb pistol.but great power from it.goes right through a spare door u keep outside for to fire it at..a got a wee fibre glass plain type bow.30lb.but was even with blunt round edge arrows..can do more damage than xbow.at 30feet.bow just cost me £24 or around that.strong. yet lightweight.. No FAC.required for them..but illegal to hunt wildlife with.,you need at least a 200lb or a compound bow or xbow for a human kill if hunting wildlife .but great.better than air guns of any power..as pellets just squash up .no good. Get a bow or xbow.far better..if in UK..
that's the pistol with the plastic body frame. The aluminum body frame pistol is much more durable and absorbs little trembles while arrow takes off, which gives the thrown arrow higher velocity and accuracy. Also, this, is NOT a toy by all means. This is a 100% leathal small bad ass sucker....

For fishing you want a fishing line attached to the crossbow, right? Some other pistol crossbows have a picatinny rail on the bottom, where you could easily attach such things. About the ripping strings:
That's indeed a problem (with all traditional crossbows) and I tried to find pistol crossbows that fixed this issue, but really couldn't find any. The reverse prod mod is a bad idea. Far better to use spring steel, or a section of another prod, to increase the power of this thing.
What if I just add a spacer? Like coins or some washers...
You gain a slight increase by adding a spacer. Not much though

Be careful shooting pencils there a little light and it's the same as dry firing it it's really hard on the string

Hey Tim here again do me a favor if you ever do reverse the prod that bow let me know how it works out ! They say it will up your poundage on the bow and it will shoot a lot faster !
bow
Sure,Tim. I have heard the same.
Straight to the point . Like that a lot .
thanks Jack!
Hi boss how far can shoot ?
Ha, where I live it is crowded so I would be in trouble if I knew.
to string it easily, take a length of paracord and make a little bit longer (as in 2 inches) string with slightly larger loops. Put that string on and cock the crossbow. Now you can put the real string on easily without too much strain.
Hey thanks a lot for watching the video and for taking the time to leave such a nice tip much appreciated.
Wow I am getting one of those great video
thank you Jamie!
Can you buy this in canada??
Sorry, I don't know, I live in Florida.
Looks like fun. Hey on a side note, last week I bought a very expensive DJI Mavic Drone through your link and I hope it gave you credit for it?
hey Moe, I just checked my amazon stats, they sure did, woohoo, thanks a bunch Moe, you are a gentleman, scholar and fine judge of pickup trucks,LOL,let me know if I can help you out anytime. look forward to seeing what you conjure up with the drone.
Haha... That's great. Thanks again for pushing me to get my Amazon set up.

I dont no how anyone can bitch about this crossbow considering how cheap they are.
Thx for the video Robb.
Informative.
Liked and already Subscribed. 👍
Cheers 🙏
thanks, i subscribed back.
I saw a guy In RUclips turn that bow into a Bow-Fishing with line and a reel.
I need to do that with mine and post a video.
Hey this is my first video watching you and I'm thinking of getting a cobra crossbow but do you know how much it weighs?!:)
Ps: I subscribed love your videos.
hey beniboi, I weighed mine for you, it was 1 puond 6 and 1/2 ounces. thanks for watching.
Awesome vid man, never thought of using tape as fletching
Thanks Shafty, I think the tape was an idea I got from the internet. I have a lot of original stuff but sometimes I borrow like everybody else. Thanks for commenting!
Robb's Homemade Life I'd bet Gorilla tape would work great. That tape is tough as all get out and sticks too!
Price: $57.95 & FREE Shipping 2020 price
yeah, the amazon prices go up and down a lot, mostly up. but I reviewed a $20 bb pistol that later went down to $14. I bought two more, lol
Can I shoot a deer hunting or can I do with this gun
You can shoot at a deer but if you use this you will only make him mad.
Av had a few makes.but I like the sleath. Aluminium metal.
Oh Bro! we Are on the same page 🤓👍 Im a big fan of JørnSprøge and a great review of a Nice little Crossbow 😉 thanks Robb!
hey Smith, I forgot to say thank you for your reply when I asked you how you ended up in Denmark, it was a good story.
It is now $49 UIse longer string to affix normal string
wow- that's a lot
it doesnrt have 80 pounds. only the redback comes very close, all the rest has between 30-50 pounds.
that's the pistol with the plastic body frame. The aluminum body frame pistol is much more durable and absorbs little trembles while arrow takes off, which gives the thrown arrow higher velocity and accuracy. Also, this, is NOT a toy by all means. This is a 100% leathal small bad ass sucker....
4 years later its 80 dollars
The pen is mightier than the sword but the pencil can be shot from a pistol crossbow!!!!!
Ha!
Lol
I bet you could shoot pens too.
I like Joerg to.
let me show you its features.LOL
oh no no
he has the chuckle of a scary santa claus..
You can string easily using a ratchet strap.
Thanks Joe
There not semi-auto that would be a repeater
good info to know
thanks HPS!
if the bolts brack no prolom but the gun dracks man
Best reason in my opinion- If you shoot someone your chances of getting away with it are much higher
U didn't attached that triangle metal piece, u have to step on it and pull that rope with your hands not to use knee to load it xD
It looks like the auto cross from Far Cry 4.
Will this kill squirrels
Jimmy Bradd pretty damn sure
Great.... just ordered one, need it for bloody possums. Some IDIOT introduced them to New Zealand decades ago
Wow $65.95 now, times have changed
99.95$ now
yeah, prices are crazy
Price gouging they charge more due to the videos increasing the popularity
These things have doubled in price.
I know! it's crazy.
Shall not be infringed brother
word!
Very cool! Thank you.
Horizone red back i ts more power....!
South African viewers upgrade your MK A4AL pistol crossbow to a fast repeating crossbow or get the tactical crossbow with the autoloading magazine system, affordable, reliable and fast:
ruclips.net/video/ZMuyfSchxS8/видео.html
Safety mechanism won't disengage rendering the crossbow totally useless. I am not happy at all with this product and do not recommend!
thanks for your input.
ghost reacon wild lands babby . btw can anyone here him
adjust your volume
Robb's Homemade Life it's all the way up and I can still barely hear him
there are two places to adjust volume, one is on your computer and the other is on the youtube video itself. I hear the video very well.
For Selfdefence
Pencils.....hmmmm🙄
